AVZ - Would end up with 71% instead of original planned 66%, as well as no more ownership issues and still with the same amount of money upfront from CATH
DATHOMIR - Paid out from a corrupt Zijin
Zijin - 10% ownership in the project for a total of $150M
Comineire - paid the $100M from Zijin
DRC - Project moving forward with no more squabbles.

AVZ will launch a US$10Billion damages claim in the ICC against DRC if 13359 was taken/re-assigned from Dathcom.
I dont think it will. That would be a very dumb move by the MoM and set back the DRC and Presidents strategy of DRC being an International Greenhouse Solutions country. US and Europe would not be able to touch any resources from DRC be it Li, Cu, Au, Co. President is diversifying trade and investment away from 99% China to stronger relations with US and Europe and Middle East.
AVZ/Dathcom have complied with the requirements of the mining code and the JV Agreement. No legal basis for the title to be stripped from Dathcom JV and therefore if that happened massive damages claim even though that would take years to settle.
IGF investigation and report supports AVZ position in Dathcom JV.
DRC has Internationally lots at stake with this and their reputation. Action of the MoM i think is a warning to Dathcom JV to sort out the issues...but that is a catch 22 situation, as all of the JV ownership problems are related to the corrupt actions of its own politicians and senior Comminiere officials.
Good to see Marius is confident of sorting it out. DRC Announcement of Cabinet Reshuffle will be the start.

I'm almost positive he got burned years ago on an African explorer/mine and now he's in "I told you so" mode.
He tries to be the "I'm so impartial" guy, but in this case I think he's got some deep seated issues, because now he seems to be digging the boot in, "Ya see! ya see! I warned you" style.
I've learned over the years, it takes a bigger man to say your peace and leave it at that.
I once warned some people about the 1st CEO of 14D, as I'd had some dealings with that narcissist. 2 or 3 posts to make sure they did due diligence on his self aggrandizements, then I left it alone. Did I go back and put the boot in when that fell in a heap? Narrrp.

He made some poor predictions a few years ago on AVZ and was hauled over the coals for it and roasted. He has had a pineapple up his arse ever since. He is so insecure he needs to constantly remind AVZ'rs of how many people follow him as some form of self worth and acknowledgement of his superior investing knowledge. Fact is he lost a lot on a QLD play which i cant recall the name of and it burnt him so bad he now is too frightened and insecure to trust his own ability to invest in individual stocks and only plays the indices i believe.

Based on their 2022 remunerations, particularly the number of free performance shares held, I am sure they are aware they have a lot to lose and will be acutely focused on this unfolding issue.
In 2022, AVZ dished out approx $2m in salaries and consulting fees to top mgt, plus 37,825,000 free performance shares (table 1), plus GOK how much in legal and other consulting fees.
And this is what it bought us: Two years behind schedule, construction at a standstill, suspended from trading for eight months, an impasse with an increasingly hostile DRC govt, under seige by 1.4 billion Chinese and a German, and everyone thinks we are the bad guys.
All we need now is a flood and a plague of locusts.

CATH is needed whatever happens...they are the biggest customer and will continue to get bigger.....so yes CATH are definitely needed.
Exactly and the market will see this as a positive .Construction will occur quicker with Zijin holding 15 % in the project.

Anyone seen the letter by Cominiere, that MoM reference in decree Jan 28, 2023 regards 13359?
Do note Dathcom was not addressed in “ampliations” for above decree referenced. This is very strange, AVZ via Dathcom was not directly addressed.
The big question is, who does MoM recognise as Dathcom shareholders? Would be very telling
