ACAJ congratulates the Minister of Mines for having signed decrees nos. 00031 and 00032 dated 01/28/23 relating to decrees nos. 00147 and 00080 relating respectively to the granting of exploitation permit no. his partial waiver of the

exploration permit no. 13359. It is a courageous decision that allows the state-owned company COMINIERE SA to recover all of its rights to the Manono lithium concession. ACAJ reiterates to the Government its request for review of the DATHCOM contract
@KapiambaGeorges

Da fuq does that all mean????
Sounds like Zijin’s fucked if Cominiere regain their rights. That’s certain.

Though, I wonder if this means they are trying to revoke AVZ’s rights all the way back from 2016. They have a problem with the Dathcom JV afterall
IGF have stated that Dathcom has a legitimate holding. The ann by AJAC refers to Cominiere rights, their 25%, which has been reduced to 5% which is in breach of the law. A positive move IMO
'Partial waiver of the exploration permit 13359 '

What part is that ? Probably more fake news .
Possibly only for the southern section maybe? Therefore being "partial".

Northern still in contention?

Ffs this never ends 😫
I don’t think it’s fake, acaj was on the money with that mmcs bullshit when we start our suspension. The decrees are both about our ML for the 13359 and the PE for the nothern part of 13359 we are fighting for. We need to know what standing in the decrees. But it doesn’t sound good when it give’s cominiere the possibility to get everything back. Hopefully they just mean the 5% mmcs + 15% zijin + complete % of the nothern part of the tenement. And new negotiations have to be made with cominiere about the nothern part, or anybody else get it(usa? Klaus?) as part of a deal. This would explain why acaj repeat that the government need to check the dathcom contract again. When cominiere have the chance now to get everything back because the president give a fuck about avz and will give it to the usa, we will have a big problem. Even if we searching for 10 billion in the ICC it would take years. And the last time the drc loose and have to pay a few hundred millions they have 20 years time to pay it back. Imagine how long it would take with several billions. The drc only have 12 billion in a year for their country at the moment. We would not see any money of our investment again in this case.
The devil is in the detail. I'm thinking this means that there is movement towards granting the ML for the southern part of the PR - although it's hard to tell with all the gooblegook??
If the DRC are going to start this nonsense, good luck with their battery council and plan to lift the country out of poverty.

No one is seriously going to invest a dollar in this country moving forward If, and that is a big if AVZ are thrown under a truck.

We need to see a lot more detail if this is true and detrimental to AVZ.

Let a company come in and do all the donkey work and then say pfft.

The country will be a pariah.
My interpretation is the nought of MMCS and Zijin deal.
These 2 new decrees directly relate to the ministerial decree for the PE and another decree that must have been issued about the north to legally partition the tenement. So the reference to rights owned by Cominiere is the 20% (15% Zijin and 5% MMCS) approved for transfer by the MoP due to the ownership at the time of the initial decrees.

This is extremely good news. Now AVZ can activate its first right of refusal on the 15% from Cominiere. And Cominiere can then cede their remaining 10% to the DRC government after the licence is registered. Womp womp Zijin imo.

Here's a better translation:

It's all good though because someone said that the company said the decision on the ML is imminent.........

Good posting, @Carlos Danger - I hope you’re right. I have so little faith that I shit myself when I see stuff like this announced.

Where did you get that translation from? For what it’s worth I use ChatGPT for translations now - at least you can comprehend the results…

Its basically the same but google translate was freaking out with the word no in front of the numbers. When read as it it should be it makes more sense that ACAJ were talking about how the 2 new decrees directly relate to the 2 initial decrees.

Important to note that the northern 82 carrés that are to be renewed under PR in a JV with the DRC government according to AVZ's May 4th 2022 announcement are not mentioned in the ministerial decree for the southern 139 carrés as a PE. So there must be another decree for splitting the tenement. None of the decrees are available for the public as far as I know. The decree for PE13359 was released by Franck Fwamba.

Can anyone make out the decree number of this doc?
Hard to make out. And there seems to be different numbers on each page. There could be another filing number used that's not on the document too.

But ACAJ are 100% referencing this document when they talk about the decree 'granting exploitation permit number 13359 to DATHCOM Mining SA'.

Should be Decree 145?
Could be a mistake on ACAJ's behalf or could relate to another decree. But it's definitely from that numbering system.

The new decrees are to compel transfer of ownership for the 20% from Zijin and MMCS to Cominiere across all of the tenement imo

*Speaking of the Minister of Mines, I see where it's a "Win Win" for Ambassador Zhu Jing, as

China committed to supporting the DRC in the recovery of its mining industry

China is committed Thursday, February 02, to support the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in the recovery of its mining industry, said the Chinese ambassador to the DRC, Zhu Jing at the end of the audience with the Minister of Mines, Antoinette N'Samba Kalambayi, learned from the ACP on Friday February 3 from the said ministry.

"China is ready to support the DRC in the recovery of its mining industry, but also in the creation of raw materials processing industries and in the future to be a major investor," said the ambassador.

The ambassador made the statement during Thursday's exchanges on the sincere and win-win otherwise-Congolese partnership in the field of mining.

The representative of China in the DRC being satisfied with the good relations between his country and the DRC, indicated that his country has focused in the dynamics of bringing its technology for the industrialization of minerals on site in the DRC.

“The mining sector is one of the pillars of otherwise-Congolese partnership, which is based on win-win cooperation.

"I came not only to say goodbye to the end of my mandate of more than 3 years in the DRC, but also to take stock of cooperation in the mining sector with the Minister of Mines as well as fruitful and constructive exchanges, but also on the new future prospects," said the Chinese ambassador to the DRC.

It further means that: “we all agree to the mining cooperation between China and the DRC.

It is a win-win partnership that deserves to be reinforced with investments.

We are ready to go hand in hand in our win-win partnership,” said Ambassador Zhu Jing.

The Republic of China follows the policy of the Head of State Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo which is materialized by the Minister of Mines and in the logic of the win-win partnership, for the happiness of two States, the DRC and China .

IMO there is a delay in the reshuffle because of the visit by the pope. You can't air your dirty laundry in front of the world. I believe that it was reported that the reshuffle could take up to a couple of weeks from when Felix returned to the DRC. So, we can look forward to next week.
Agreed, in particular relating to the Princess, the leader of a large Catholic voting bloc partial to FTs party. To diss her and her supporters during a papal visit would be political suicide for FT. Hence her continued presence this week.

My take on the Pope's visit was that FT got his arse smacked by Francis at every opportunity. And for the pope to openly incite the DRC youth against corruption was brutal for the authorities. Good.

This may just be the rocket FT needs for if he doesn’t start acting decisively on behalf of the people, then he may well fall victim to a popular uprising. We'll see.

After chatting with Wombat last time I was here, I realised a few things…. Some posters don't research what is going on in and around the DRC and AVZ, others vent their frustration and others probably just use TSE as a chat forum.

Wombat told me he doesn't take the forum seriously, he finds it entertaining and he's retired and living comfortably…. and for as long as I remember all he has wanted is a TO. Wombie, I'm not going to suggest to you what to do, but it would have been nice to hear you add a little something we didn't know, and that might have been useful information.

I posted what I thought might contribute to our cause and I'm happy to admit to posting a fair bit of nonsense, but it wasn't just useless. I even through in a few Naked Gun videos to try and ease the angst between you and Nells a few months back, when you were pissed off with her and The Fox, but I suppose to be fair the 'Pineappling" you introduced to the threads might go down as the most memorable topic of all

I'd hoped that shareholders here might have been able to pool their knowledge or whatever resources they have in a way that together on TSE we might actually help our cause and the company…. doesn't seem to be the case.

Whatever, I've had a few laughs and good to see @Chilla and @obe wan more recently providing good knowledge on the company's financing, ASX rules and institutional buying and selling etc, and I have picked up some other good information here…. It's just not worth the bullshit any longer

I posted this because @Carlos, I know you provide a lot of information, but do you have to answer every fucken question and comment everyone makes…. You're even answering fucken modo, who everyone knows is a troll. And lions being lions, I love big cats mate, but fuck me, your reminding me of the paddle pop lion.

This is what you posted earlier Carlos:

"These 2 new decrees directly relate to the ministerial decree for the PE and another decree that must have been issued about the north to legally partition the tenement. Mate, how the fuck do you know it's not related to Tantalex getting a PE for it's tailings.

Manono: United Cominiere and MINOCOM, subsidiaries of Tantalex Lithium Resources, present their civilities to the new Administrator of the Territory

Immediately after taking up his new duties as Territory Administrator (AT) of MANONO in the province of Tanganyka, Cyprien KITANGA received this Friday, February 3, 2023 a delegation from TANTALEX LITHIUM RESOURCES and its two subsidiaries: UNITED COMINIERE and MINOCOM. These three mining companies came to present their civilities to the AT. During the discussions, Cyprien Kitanga promised to protect mining investors and support them. "My mission is to protect, secure and support investors ," he said.

The Administrator also reassured his hosts of his desire to enforce the specifications of the parties, in accordance with the Mining Code”. For C. Kitanga, a win-win partnership is needed between investors and the population.

Present during this meeting, the Manono Office Manager Robert Kumwimba, outlined the history of investors in MANONO. According to him, "TANTALEX is a major partner who has always supported the social actions of the population of MANONO".

The TANTALEX delegation took advantage of this audience to present all of its subsidiaries. It is : 1. UNITED COMINIERE (UC) which is developing a cassiterite and coltan production project, 2. MINOCOM, a lithium production project from backfill.

The TANTALEX delegation was led by Mrs. Lydia Mbaka (Manager responsible for Communication and Public Relations in the DRC). The following were notably part of this team: Mr. Éric Gagnon (Environment, Social and Governance Manager) and Mr. Hervé Kitolo (Human Resources Manager). "The interview was constructive and warm ," said Lydia Mbaka.

As a reminder, appointed 3 months ago by the President of the Republic Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, Cyprien Kitanga took office this Friday. He succeeds Pierre Mukamba, who died a few days ago.

How about just posting some research instead of making assumptions about things you don't know

There's been all sorts of information coming out of the DRC including articles on Jules Alingete as well as the head of CENI asking Sama Lukonde for $30million to suspiciously replace voting officials.

And as far as fucken takeover offers, I have it straight from Nigel the neighbour's beagle that the company wants to go mining and minimum takeover at this stage is $3 to 3.50.

That’s not me guessing or speculating, that’s straight from the beagle
