Has anyone thought to call or email the Office of the Minister of Mines directly, and inquire why CAMI (under its supervision) has not followed the Mining Ministers Decree, and seems somewhat "confused" regarding issuing the surface rights?

Point two of the AVZ announcement on the 4th of May states:

• "DRC Mining Code requires the Cadastre Minier (CAMI), operating under the supervision of the Minister of Mines, to calculate the surface rights fee and officially award the Mining Licence following the receipt of payment”.

A quick google search reveals the details down the bottom of the official website - https://mines-rdc.cd/fr/

As much as I believe the BOD and agree they are working in a challenging part of the world, they are not willing to state a time objective or associated KPI. If we don’t take responsibility for our own destiny, after 18 months of nice words and more court cases than I can currently count, then my crystal ball tells me only the lawyers and highly paid advisors on all sides will win, and it will drag on and continue to escalate.

The obvious next step on the critical path is obtaining the surface rights from CAMI. And I’ll be damned if I just sit here like a stunned mullet waiting around, whilst we are sitting on the hottest asset in world right now and can’t do anything with it!

So, at this point if we take the AGM on face value it’s a coin flip from this point right now.... Point Piper or bust..... The tea leaves tell me its Point Piper and boats with seafood platters for all, but only if we can get the next critical step achieved!!! So ill ask again, is there any high-flying, long lunch type lawyer / barrister / QC in luscious silks on this forum who could draft a nice email for the sake of all long suffering shareholders who would like to see this succeed?

IIRC NF said we could be producing 20% of the predicted global demand and "we could control the market." as an investor its hard not to be happy with a statement like that.

Mineral Resources boss Chris Ellison says by 2035 no country in the world will allow internal combustion engines to be built, clipping analysts who think the lithium market will be oversupplied in the near future.

Forecasts from Bloomberg NEF project that over 10 million EVs will be sold in 2022, more than 50% up on last year’s record of 6.6m.

Speaking at the lithium and iron ore miner’s AGM in Perth today, two days after analyst notes from Credit Suisse and JP Morgan on a drop in carbonate futures in China sent investors in lithium running, Ellison bullishly said there is “way more demand than supply”.

“You read in the paper now and then someone coughed up in China the other day, and the market dropped 5% which is amazing, I hope the audience bought shares in us,” he said.

“We get the odd commentary out in the market. Goldman Sachs seemed to have a thing about getting it right one day and I’m sure in the next 30 years, one of the years they’ll be right … please don’t write that down.”

“Probably by about 2035, there probably won’t be any countries in the world allowing combustion engines to be built,” Ellison said.

“We’ve only just started on this journey in the last couple of years, a lot of countries haven’t come out with their plans and what they’re doing, you’re going to see over the next 12-18 months a multiple of countries come out and go, we don’t want combustion engines on the road, probably around ’35 onwards, some of them are coming out sooner than that.

“Volvo are only a few years away. As this picks up momentum, there’s going to be more and more demand for lithium products.

At the moment, there is way more demand than there is supply … if we’ve got seven years in the sun, we’re gonna have a lot of fun.”

MinRes, which celebrated its 30th birthday earlier this year including 16 as a listed company, has grown this year largely thanks to its lithium exposure into a $16 billion ASX50 giant.

As of this morning it was the 28th most valuable company on the ASX, surrounded by other battery metals players like Pilbara Minerals who have become the darlings of the ASX mining sector in 2022.

Outside of that, MinRes is also progressing plans to head downstream into lithium hydroxide processing at the site of its Wodgina mine in the Pilbara (it currently boasts a 40% stake in the Kemerton plant with Wodgina JV partner Albermarle which it wants to water down to boost its Wodgina stake to 50%), develop a new gas discovery at Lockyer-Deep in the Perth Basin and build 70Mt of new iron ore capacity in WA.

Well i went to the AGM today , ably assisted by @tonster66 & @Scoota30

Had a great chat and catch up with those 2 lads , then headed to the AGM " ball room "

Nice professional look, all the BOD were wearing their best bathing suits, even John clark ...

I dressed like a bogan, brown shorts with no belt, (fallling and exposing butt crack from time to time..... ), grey shirt and thongs......

The attendance was full, some folk were standing, unbeknown to me at the time ,I can confirm DEBOSS was there and i had a good chat with him after the meeting..........will tell more of that chat later.

AGM started with ALL resolutions PASSED with a big majority in the................YAH.

John Clark then highlighted the achievements of AVZ, then finished with the aggrievements ......as in the corruption and subsequent suspension , holding AVZ back.

After John finished his intial address, Nigel explained that chinese entities in cohorts with corrupt DRC officials enacted a massive misinformation / smear campaign about AVZ to FT whilst the initial stages of COVID was playing out, with Nigel & Co out of country and no other BOD member close to the " pulse "

Nigel then mentioned that alot of work is being done behind the scenes righting the wrongs of the smear camaign thru clear and concise documentation , which is slowly working thru the system , giving Felix more insight as to whats really going on.......

Apparently after the ML decree was announced , the BOD sensed a massive shorting campaign going on with the SP , so decided that was the TRIGGER to go in to VS.

Also mentioned the disinformation regards to Hot crapper and other sites ( not sure BOATMAN was mentioned ) as other catalyst to the deteriotation of the AVZ SP.............so if you think BODS dont read social media.........you know now !

I could sense the frustration / anger leaking out of Nigel and the BODS veins at this time.

Then a glossy slide show proceeded, in BOLD was AVZ HAVE GOOD LEGAL TITLE to 75%.......unequivocal

PRE ML AVZ 75%.........................COM / DRC 25%

PPOST ML AVZ 51% CATH 24%...................COM 15%.........DRC 10%

MOU with DRC Govt regards to refurbishment of MPIANA MWANGE plant..............safe & secure.

I am not going to lie, i controlled the floor, yes , my REAL name is JASON for those wondering whether it was BEISHA or JAG asking the questions.......


So here is my update.

1 ) What is the core reason why the ML has not been received ?.............Dathomir / Zijin ICC or CAMI ?

Answer.................CAMI..............illegally holding back surface rights docs etc

AVZ will only release the suspension once, ML is awarded, this does not depend on out comes regards to DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ICC................NIGEL super confident neither has a case ( spurios with no legal effect )

Mentioned that ICC arbitration / deliberations will be " open door "...........not closed, giving the impression that ZIJIN will eat humble pie with a wide audience...........

2 ) I then followed up with the ANNEXURE of northern CDL on Cami website

Apparently, because AVZ had not drilled any holes in the northern section, then this was the reason it was excluded as the only drill holes executed were done in the southern section.

Did AVZ drop the ball there ? I didnt ask that unfortunately..........it is what it is.

Nigel mentioned he is fighting hard to get a 5 yr exploration renewal on the northern section , but that is not guaranteed .

3) Well then i followed up and mentioned there was alot of conjecture regards to AJN claiming the northern section of CDL but before i could elude to POTENTIAL CONFLICT of INTEREST pertaining to Nigel still owning a heap of shares in AJN, Nigel must of anticipated that coming and cut to the chase..........

NIGEL was a director and owned shares in AJN when they were a GOLD play, no interest in any lithium play previously.

Once Nigel found out that AJN were potentially seeking a lithium acquisition ,he resigned as director immediately, but maintains his share holding in AJN is NOT a conflict of interest because he bought them ages ago.......

Hmmmmmmmmmm......take that as you will.

4) I asked the BOD if SEZ , UPDATED DFS , FID etc has been delayed by Dathomir / Zijin / corruption , not sure i got a clear answer to that, Nigel mention SEZ is still some way off being complete, so nothing to announce yet, the updated DFS is still being collated apparently, will the current infill drill program at RD be included with an updated price ?

Not sure, but he did mention the current drill program is 2/3 complete , with assay results due Q1 2023 some time.

5) I asked if AVZ had a plan B , ( if for some reason AVZ loses its court battles with DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ) regards to CATH 24%...........

Plain answer was...............NO

AVZ very confident in their legal rights regards to Dathomir / Zijin............AVZ has good relations with CATH, they just want supply, according to Scoota / Tonster, there was mention of some flexibility with percentage, but what blew me away, was that Nigel was talking about a potential $400m contribution from CATH in its entirety, so dont think CATH is a issue here.

6 ) I didnt get to ask CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE question, but i was reliably informed from some big hitters after the meeting , that " rumblings " , "inuendo ", " conjecture " dont fall into the category of continuous disclosure.

It must be official news.

7) SCOOTA asked a @Chilla question..........

Directors insurance has risen from $90k in 2021 to $513k in 2022......why ?

Has there been any claims against this policy in the last 2 yrs ?

ANSWER...........NO claims being made against the policy, price increase due to the elevated status of AVZ going from explorer to construction / production...............price of doing business.

BTW, all that conjecture about MR G Johnson 3Yr jail term / $500, 000 fine ( forgery ) is a load of BS, that was part of the SMEAR campaign via Dathomir 15% transfer to AVZ / DATHCOM.

He mentioned his name / reputation has been dragged thru the mud, but no case to answer.

8) I asked about a potential time line regards to production of RD.............Nigel mentioned that its about a 2 yr build for the processing plant, suggested mid 2024.

There were a couple of questions i didnt get to ask, but overall Nigel was very accomodating to folks asking questions, couldnt offer exact details due to the litigious nature of what he is dealing with......but i got the distinct impression that AVZ BOD have got their ducks in line due to strong documentation leading to the correct path way.

A couple of extra bits of info......

a) AVZ plan to build a 10m/tpa processing plant straight up, not just a 4.5m/tpa build

b) TANTALEX cant be offered a mining licence for the tailings of RD, only the main operator can be granted that which is of course AVZ / DATHCOM...........albeit , still waiting.


As mentioned before, after the meeting , caught up with DEBOSS.

Talk about not judging a picture frame, small dude, bald, gold chain , open shirt, ripped denims but hasnt sold a single one of his purported 40 million shares...........he is super confident of a good result.

Spoke to another heavy hitter, a chiropractor with 35 chiro centres all around Australia that he owns, collectively he and a couple of his mates hold 100m shares...........he is super confident of a good result too!

Both nudged, nudged , winked, winked about the ML being awarded mid November..............take that as you will.


Unfortunately they also shared a sobering thought too.......on release of suspension, (with AVZ obtaining ML ) could take a decent tumble due to certain rules instos must do once a coy enters / exits the ASX 200..........there was chatter about a dump to possibly 40c.........

But then they added, once that initial shock was over, instos would then start buying again, then the SP should rocket there after............food for thought

I mentioned to DEBOSS & CHIRO dude, what happens if AVZ announce ML plus some more sugar ?

They had a wry smile.

Thats all i have guys and girls, i am fucking tired, my mind is blown, all this info came from my head, not from Scootas illegible writings , but confident that AVZ will come out the other side in the

Thats just a gut feel, nothing more.

As said before, talk is cheap with AGMs / roadshows, my confidence will only be galvanised via the golden bell ASX announcement !!

Talk about not judging a picture frame, small dude, bald, gold chain , open shirt, ripped denims but hasnt sold a single one of his purported 40 million shares...........he is super confident of a good result.

Spoke to another heavy hitter, a chiropractor with 35 chiro centres all around Australia that he owns, collectively he and a couple of his mates hold 100m shares...........he is super confident of a good result too!

Both nudged, nudged , winked, winked about the ML being awarded mid November..............take that as you will.


Unfortunately they also shared a sobering thought too.......on release of suspension, (with AVZ obtaining ML ) could take a decent tumble due to certain rules instos must do once a coy enters / exits the ASX 200..........there was chatter about a dump to possibly 40c.........

I dressed like a bogan, brown shorts with no belt, (fallling and exposing butt crack from time to time..... ), grey shirt and thongs......

The attendance was full, some folk were standing, unbeknown to me at the time ,I can confirm DEBOSS was there and i had a good chat with him after the meeting..........will tell more of that chat later.

John Clark then highlighted the achievements of AVZ, then finished with the aggrievements ......as in the corruption and subsequent suspension , holding AVZ back.

After John finished his intial address, Nigel explained that chinese entities in cohorts with corrupt DRC officials enacted a massive misinformation / smear campaign about AVZ to FT whilst the initial stages of COVID was playing out, with Nigel & Co out of country and no other BOD member close to the " pulse "

Nigel then mentioned that alot of work is being done behind the scenes righting the wrongs of the smear camaign thru clear and concise documentation , which is slowly working thru the system , giving Felix more insight as to whats really going on.......

Apparently after the ML decree was announced , the BOD sensed a massive shorting campaign going on with the SP , so decided that was the TRIGGER to go in to VS.

Also mentioned the disinformation regards to Hot crapper and other sites ( not sure BOATMAN was mentioned ) as other catalyst to the deteriotation of the AVZ SP.............so if you think BODS dont read social media.........you know now !

I could sense the frustration / anger leaking out of Nigel and the BODS veins at this time.

Answer.................CAMI..............illegally holding back surface rights docs etc

AVZ will only release the suspension once, ML is awarded, this does not depend on out comes regards to DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ICC................NIGEL super confident neither has a case ( spurios with no legal effect )

Mentioned that ICC arbitration / deliberations will be " open door "...........not closed, giving the impression that ZIJIN will eat humble pie with a wide audience...........

Apparently, because AVZ had not drilled any holes in the northern section, then this was the reason it was excluded as the only drill holes executed were done in the southern section.

Did AVZ drop the ball there ? I didnt ask that unfortunately..........it is what it is.

Nigel mentioned he is fighting hard to get a 5 yr exploration renewal on the northern section , but that is not guaranteed .

4) I asked the BOD if SEZ , UPDATED DFS , FID etc has been delayed by Dathomir / Zijin / corruption , not sure i got a clear answer to that, Nigel mention SEZ is still some way off being complete, so nothing to announce yet, the updated DFS is still being collated apparently, will the current infill drill program at RD be included with an updated price ?

Not sure, but he did mention the current drill program is 2/3 complete , with assay results due Q1 2023 some time.

5) I asked if AVZ had a plan B , ( if for some reason AVZ loses its court battles with DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ) regards to CATH 24%...........

Plain answer was...............NO

AVZ very confident in their legal rights regards to Dathomir / Zijin............AVZ has good relations with CATH, they just want supply, according to Scoota / Tonster, there was mention of some flexibility with percentage, but what blew me away, was that Nigel was talking about a potential $400m contribution from CATH in its entirety, so dont think CATH is a issue here.

6 ) I didnt get to ask CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE question, but i was reliably informed from some big hitters after the meeting , that " rumblings " , "inuendo ", " conjecture " dont fall into the category of continuous disclosure.

It must be official news.

7) SCOOTA asked a @Chilla question..........

Directors insurance has risen from $90k in 2021 to $513k in 2022......why ?

Has there been any claims against this policy in the last 2 yrs ?

ANSWER...........NO claims being made against the policy, price increase due to the elevated status of AVZ going from explorer to construction / production...............price of doing business.

BTW, all that conjecture about MR G Johnson 3Yr jail term / $500, 000 fine ( forgery ) is a load of BS, that was part of the SMEAR campaign via Dathomir 15% transfer to AVZ / DATHCOM.

He mentioned his name / reputation has been dragged thru the mud, but no case to answer.

Incredible job this arvo Beisha, there has been much discussion of Nigel’s arrogance (which for the record I’m 50/50 on) but your engagement and measured timing was spot on, he seemed to show a little more respect in his response.

I was having a chuckle on the bus one the way home from work when I thought it was @JAG being super respectful after he’s been blowing up the last few days . Either way, a big thanks to both of you gents for carrying a big load that the rest of us behind a screen from afar cannot. After John finished his intial address, Nigel explained that chinese entities in cohorts with corrupt DRC officials enacted a massive misinformation / smear campaign about AVZ to FT whilst the initial stages of COVID was playing out, with Nigel & Co out of country and no other BOD member close to the " pulse "

Nigel then mentioned that alot of work is being done behind the scenes righting the wrongs of the smear camaign thru clear and concise documentation , which is slowly working thru the system , giving Felix more insight as to whats really going on.......

Apparently after the ML decree was announced , the BOD sensed a massive shorting campaign going on with the SP , so decided that was the TRIGGER to go in to VS.

Also mentioned the disinformation regards to Hot crapper and other sites ( not sure BOATMAN was mentioned ) as other catalyst to the deteriotation of the AVZ SP.............so if you think BODS dont read social media.........you know now !

I could sense the frustration / anger leaking out of Nigel and the BODS veins at this time.

Answer.................CAMI..............illegally holding back surface rights docs etc

AVZ will only release the suspension once, ML is awarded, this does not depend on out comes regards to DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ICC................NIGEL super confident neither has a case ( spurios with no legal effect )

Mentioned that ICC arbitration / deliberations will be " open door "...........not closed, giving the impression that ZIJIN will eat humble pie with a wide audience...........

2 ) I then followed up with the ANNEXURE of northern CDL on Cami website

Apparently, because AVZ had not drilled any holes in the northern section, then this was the reason it was excluded as the only drill holes executed were done in the southern section.

Did AVZ drop the ball there ? I didnt ask that unfortunately..........it is what it is.

Nigel mentioned he is fighting hard to get a 5 yr exploration renewal on the northern section , but that is not guaranteed .

3) Well then i followed up and mentioned there was alot of conjecture regards to AJN claiming the northern section of CDL but before i could elude to POTENTIAL CONFLICT of INTEREST pertaining to Nigel still owning a heap of shares in AJN, Nigel must of anticipated that coming and cut to the chase..........

NIGEL was a director and owned shares in AJN when they were a GOLD play, no interest in any lithium play previously.

Once Nigel found out that AJN were potentially seeking a lithium acquisition ,he resigned as director immediately, but maintains his share holding in AJN is NOT a conflict of interest because he bought them ages ago.......

4) I asked the BOD if SEZ , UPDATED DFS , FID etc has been delayed by Dathomir / Zijin / corruption , not sure i got a clear answer to that, Nigel mention SEZ is still some way off being complete, so nothing to announce yet, the updated DFS is still being collated apparently, will the current infill drill program at RD be included with an updated price ?

Not sure, but he did mention the current drill program is 2/3 complete , with assay results due Q1 2023 some time.

5) I asked if AVZ had a plan B , ( if for some reason AVZ loses its court battles with DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ) regards to CATH 24%...........

AVZ very confident in their legal rights regards to Dathomir / Zijin............AVZ has good relations with CATH, they just want supply, according to Scoota / Tonster, there was mention of some flexibility with percentage, but what blew me away, was that Nigel was talking about a potential $400m contribution from CATH in its entirety, so dont think CATH is a issue here.

6 ) I didnt get to ask CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE question, but i was reliably informed from some big hitters after the meeting , that " rumblings " , "inuendo ", " conjecture " dont fall into the category of continuous disclosure.

a) AVZ plan to build a 10m/tpa processing plant straight up, not just a 4.5m/tpa build

b) TANTALEX cant be offered a mining licence for the tailings of RD, only the main operator can be granted that which is of course AVZ / DATHCOM...........albeit , still waiting.

Talk about not judging a picture frame, small dude, bald, gold chain , open shirt, ripped denims but hasnt sold a single one of his purported 40 million shares...........he is super confident of a good result.

Spoke to another heavy hitter, a chiropractor with 35 chiro centres all around Australia that he owns, collectively he and a couple of his mates hold 100m shares...........he is super confident of a good result too!

Both nudged, nudged , winked, winked about the ML being awarded mid November..............take that as you will.


Unfortunately they also shared a sobering thought too.......on release of suspension, (with AVZ obtaining ML ) could take a decent tumble due to certain rules instos must do once a coy enters / exits the ASX 200..........there was chatter about a dump to possibly 40c.........

NF presentation exuded confidence as also, however I wasn’t convinced that we are ‘Imminent’ for ML. A few points he mentioned about difficulties suggests to me that we aren’t just awaiting formalities or anything like that, but that the fight remains well and truly on.

• A: Works being managed in-house with consultants, also outsourced through engineer companies used previously. We’re comfortable with them
• How do you see the development shaping up / staged, or straight into the 10?
• A: With expansion, it’d be silly not to start off with a bigger bang, if we’re supported in that. When it comes to processing though, we’ll be ramping up over time. Wrinkles to get out of the way first, transport, materials etc.

• Collusion between all those 3 – namely Zijin, Jin Cheng, CAMI?
• A: That would be astute thought
• Issue that a portion of mines directorate said we hadn’t done the work on the northern tenement area, and shouldn’t get the north?
• A: That’s not within the mining code. So 13359 should be retained in its entirety – however the northern area may need to come under a separate exploration tenement, even though that’s not the established process. – We know who’s behind this (e.g. DG CAMI)
• What about AJN having a crack
• A: “their premise is that we’ve returned the northern tenement to government. We haven’t. Draw a conclusion out of that”. I was a founding director and bought in as gold explorer. Found out late in the piece for a lithium plan – stepped away as soon as learned that. Shares bought before that lithium plan came into play. No conflict of interest.
• SEZ/BFS delays?
• A: The BFS will come out in good order, still gathering information on that. CATH keen for expansion plan – wanting to be no1 hydroxide producer in China. 10 Mpta output makes sense.

• A: NF - not from what I’ve seen and our visits. Very select group of govt officials have been working as a coalition to extract what they can out of this, corruptly, and misinform the senior people. Id be surprised if you don’t see changes coming up, with some of the public platform announcements coming out of a certain ministry shouldn’t be done (nothing to do with her). O the senior side of things, NF is even more confident now than I was 6 months ago that the right thing will be done
• Major Equipment needs and long lead items ordered?
• A: nothing done as yet, comes down to what size we are going to go down for. Yes, there’s some items we need to put down – but we don’t know yet 4.5 or 10. We’re mindful of it.
• Is there tribal attachment behind the blockage?
• A: don’t think it’s a tribal thing at all/ Purely a fact of opportunists that have done a great job that we’re having to unwind. I think we’re just about there and will have what we need coming shortly. And those people will be taken care of.
• Any ML ETA?
• A: ETA TBA. (laughter)
• What happens if percentage conflicts doesn’t go out way?
• A: I don’t think we’ll entertain a contingency, we are adamant in our JV rights. And JV is clear too that Cominere to cede 10% with the government. With CATH they are after security over product. The 24% is flexible. We wont wait for ICC for ML. 100% confident the ICC will turn over Jin Cheng. Expecting a blush moment for Zijin because proceedings will be public.
• When will RD drilling results be ready?
• A: probably March 2022. Geotechnical appraisal being done on the side, needed specialist support. That latter process will take as long as it takes to update reserves. Hopefully up to 300 million tons to help support a larger operation. Increase reserves is intended in part to increase SP.
• Plant Construction time?
• A: Two year build process – not a lot of difference between 4.5/10 mil construction. 10 mil would be ramped.
• DRC export rule of raw material?
• A: Chinese being hauled over the coals for continuing to export copper concentrate. Its something we need to be mindful of, but remember it’s a bulk commodity, and we intend to progressively move more and more to PLS
• What’s the status of the Battery Council?
• A: Out of our control. My understanding is that discussions are ongoing, including where SEZ will be located for Battery Development. We hope to have a say in what’s going on – hopefully supply our product to it whether PLS or even hydroxide.
• Do we have enough manpower?
• A: For current construction, yes. We’ll be bringing more people in when we have more certainty – and certainty is ML.
• Why have we been inactive on social media?

Here’s an overview of how things went down for those who couldn’t attend. Nothing particularly new. NF presentation exuded confidence as also, however I wasn’t convinced that we are ‘Imminent’ for ML. A few points he mentioned about difficulties suggests to me that we aren’t just awaiting formalities or anything like that, but that the fight remains well and truly on.

Chairman’s address: Some milestones were reached, however also some unexpected delays beyond company control. We affirm that we legally hold 75% interest. Have purchased some critical equipment. Our project progress and a buoyant lithium price boosted our SP to record highs this year. Despite highlights, voluntary suspension entered pending award of ML. Awarding unexpectedly delayed, unissued by CAMI in addition to disputes over the mining/exploration rights. Attracted unwanted global attention given scale of resource, third parties trying to join the game unlawfully. Claims spurious, hold no legal basis. Continuing to engage at the highest levels. Granting of ML catalyst to lift suspension. NF working tirelessly to defend the project this year. Extremely frustrating times for us all. AVZ still well sited however to develop one of the world’s most significant lithium mine.

Nigel’s Presentation

• We want to be a transformative resources company, delivering long term benefits for all stakeholders
• Serge and Balthazar are critical pieces of the puzzle – presenting us to government and moving forward through a difficult time
• Have 48mil in the bank, and we intend to have a 3-month rolling approval for budget. If things turn to the worst, we’ll take the decision to cut back on budget and save cash.
• DFS numbers well and truly out of date now – due to prices spiking massively.
• 75% ownership totally undisputable. Can’t listen to any of the nonsense going on with third parties trying to claim percentages. We’ll be going to the next level in defending this if need be.
• Capital requirements likely over US$600m now, even for 4.5 mpta plant.
• Infrastructure is something we need to get sorted, to mobilize our equipment
• Despite best efforts of people in country that say we don’t have the hydro facility – its undisputable that we do, its under the MOU and we are the one’s who will be refurbishing it. We’ll fight tooth and nail to keep M-P
• Awakening the monster – still asleep now until ML, but it’ll be a game changer.
• Good news coming in in the future on strip ratio
• RD focus - very clean product. Old pegmatite boundary was being hidden, and a larger peg boundary now means more tonnes can come into the pit design.
• Drilling programme for RD ongoing – 4 drill rigs operating 24/7. This will keep going until resource completed. We believe this will be a good boost for reserve tonnes, and strip ration.
• We were looking at about a 20% LCE market share, based on demand, which could go higher.
• We still retain first right of refusal of Cominere’s remaining percentage. “we will be purchasing that 15% if the hurdles are removed, as long as number is right”
• C’s must cede its 10% to the government – under our JV agreement
• Very confident of maintaining majority ownership moving forward.
• We went into trading halt originally because of short selling campaign, and then decided to stay to protect shareholder value
• Enemies doing a very good hatchet job on us in country, but that’s turning around
• Don’t believe Jin Cheng have a leg to stand on – we’ll be taking them to task
• We’ll be defending Dathomir – won’t be held up much longer. Legally we are on a very strong footing. Pretty sure it will be a positive outcome for us. It was only after we’d received the share certificates that they started messing around with legal actions
• CATH meeting with us next week, to have an update. CATH still very keen
• Intend to stay in suspension until ML delivered. No point in coming out without it and allowing short sellers to beat the price down.
• Sustainability and ESG a main focus. Even though well be a bit of a black startup due to calcination needs, but that will be eased over time
• DFI’s still at the table, still keen to get involved, and have large checkbooks interested in opening to us when ML delivered, and data rooms reopened
• Funding should be well and truly covered - and can get more if required
• We’ll be looking for additional O/Ts as expand – looking for geographical diversity
• We are revising the wheel of the original route used in the Belgian tin mine. North from Manono on either the road (needing refurb) or river to rail, traveling to port of Kalemie in Dar es Salaam. It’s operational. Transport does work, but needs to be upskilled and upscaled from 500 tonne a week -> 5000 tonne a week. Need to change gauge too
• Central corridors logistic study is underway, through consultants. With logistics optimization plan
• Why PLS – higher value product. Reduce shipping tonnes. Targeting Europe (reducing waste). 90-94 percent product, 6-10 percent waste. Low waste approach – waste included into landfill in Manono. Ongoing studies with hydroxide conversion which are looking good. SC6to PLS 4:1
• Very comfortable with expansion of operations. 10mil tonne study underway – need to fill in details and fill in funding plan for that.
• 2 PLS plants planned – jumping potentially into Hydroxide plant somewhere
• Early works – Colleen ready for 120 rooms by Dec. 130 more by April/May. Employing quite a few people. Disregard the nonsense on HC and Twitter that we’ve only done some huts and aren’t spending on the camp.
• We’ll need to expand manpower significantly as soon as ML awarded
• We aren’t messing around with bad actors in DRC, we’re meeting with the highest level
• We are as keen to get the ML as you are, we’re all SH’s too and are struggling with it too.

Question and Answer Session:

• Who’ll be looking at Biofuel:
• A: Sugar Cane possible to create ethanol – we’ll be inviting people in the SEZ to help with biofuel needs
• Who is the doing the 10mil study
• A: Works being managed in-house with consultants, also outsourced through engineer companies used previously. We’re comfortable with them
• How do you see the development shaping up / staged, or straight into the 10?
• A: With expansion, it’d be silly not to start off with a bigger bang, if we’re supported in that. When it comes to processing though, we’ll be ramping up over time. Wrinkles to get out of the way first, transport, materials etc.
• What happened after ML Decree, spurious yet we’re in suspension. What’s the main issue for ML – is it Dathomir, is Zijin ICC arbitration 15, dispute with exploration rights?
• A: Lot of players in vogue here in country, lot of hatchet jobs being done – President had a bad view from being ill advised by detractors (e.g. we hadn’t done anything, didn’t have money experience, and were speculators). Detractors continuing, but slowly slowly we’re working to remove the blocks.
• We knew Chinese would have a crack, but we did not expect parts of DRC government to be in on it?
• A: Nor did we - “we thought it was gambit by Chinese groups to get project cheapest way. We weren’t aware it was also elements of the government complicit. We can’t go into it, but rest assured those people are being turned over within meetings with real information is being shared, and people put on the spot.
• Collusion between all those 3 – namely Zijin, Jin Cheng, CAMI?
• A: That would be astute thought
• Issue that a portion of mines directorate said we hadn’t done the work on the northern tenement area, and shouldn’t get the north?
• A: That’s not within the mining code. So 13359 should be retained in its entirety – however the northern area may need to come under a separate exploration tenement, even though that’s not the established process. – We know who’s behind this (e.g. DG CAMI)
• What about AJN having a crack
• A: “their premise is that we’ve returned the northern tenement to government. We haven’t. Draw a conclusion out of that”. I was a founding director and bought in as gold explorer. Found out late in the piece for a lithium plan – stepped away as soon as learned that. Shares bought before that lithium plan came into play. No conflict of interest.
• SEZ/BFS delays?
• A: The BFS will come out in good order, still gathering information on that. CATH keen for expansion plan – wanting to be no1 hydroxide producer in China. 10 Mpta output makes sense.
• Directors insurance going from 90k to 500k, why?
• A: no claims against us, the rise is because we’ve developed size wise. It’ll rise further when we’re developing
• Interview NF mentioned once mentioned once decree issued 10 day period before Court could issue the licence. What happened?
• A: This was a misunderstanding. As soon as your documentation was in order and issued, this talk of periods was regarding the ministerial decree. Other steps in way of ML – CAMI have held up the invoicing, illegally in our view.
• FIRB knocking back deal with Yibin Tianyi - if oz govt see national interest what input have they had in support and has board sought them out?
• A: NF in discussions with ambassador in Harare, but she’s very limited in what can be done with private companies. She can grab a minister and ask for updates, but we’re unable to do much more than that.
• Given over 6 months since decree, doesn’t it concern you that your belief in high level support is ill founded?
• A: NF - not from what I’ve seen and our visits. Very select group of govt officials have been working as a coalition to extract what they can out of this, corruptly, and misinform the senior people. Id be surprised if you don’t see changes coming up, with some of the public platform announcements coming out of a certain ministry shouldn’t be done (nothing to do with her). O the senior side of things, NF is even more confident now than I was 6 months ago that the right thing will be done
• Major Equipment needs and long lead items ordered?
• A: nothing done as yet, comes down to what size we are going to go down for. Yes, there’s some items we need to put down – but we don’t know yet 4.5 or 10. We’re mindful of it.
• Is there tribal attachment behind the blockage?
• A: don’t think it’s a tribal thing at all/ Purely a fact of opportunists that have done a great job that we’re having to unwind. I think we’re just about there and will have what we need coming shortly. And those people will be taken care of.
• Any ML ETA?
• A: ETA TBA. (laughter)
• What happens if percentage conflicts doesn’t go out way?
• A: I don’t think we’ll entertain a contingency, we are adamant in our JV rights. And JV is clear too that Cominere to cede 10% with the government. With CATH they are after security over product. The 24% is flexible. We wont wait for ICC for ML. 100% confident the ICC will turn over Jin Cheng. Expecting a blush moment for Zijin because proceedings will be public.
• When will RD drilling results be ready?
• A: probably March 2022. Geotechnical appraisal being done on the side, needed specialist support. That latter process will take as long as it takes to update reserves. Hopefully up to 300 million tons to help support a larger operation. Increase reserves is intended in part to increase SP.
• Plant Construction time?
• A: Two year build process – not a lot of difference between 4.5/10 mil construction. 10 mil would be ramped.
• DRC export rule of raw material?
• A: Chinese being hauled over the coals for continuing to export copper concentrate. Its something we need to be mindful of, but remember it’s a bulk commodity, and we intend to progressively move more and more to PLS
• What’s the status of the Battery Council?
• A: Out of our control. My understanding is that discussions are ongoing, including where SEZ will be located for Battery Development. We hope to have a say in what’s going on – hopefully supply our product to it whether PLS or even hydroxide.
• Do we have enough manpower?
• A: For current construction, yes. We’ll be bringing more people in when we have more certainty – and certainty is ML.
• Why have we been inactive on social media?
• A: No comment. There’s no need for airing dirty laundry, doesn’t serve any purpose. That’s our plan til ML delivered. Maybe down the line you’ll see some fireworks
• Production schedule changed?
• A: delayed yes. Perhaps mid-2024. If we get licenses quickly

Well i went to the AGM today , ably assisted by @tonster66 & @Scoota30

Had a great chat and catch up with those 2 lads , then headed to the AGM " ball room "

Nice professional look, all the BOD were wearing their best bathing suits, even John clark ...

I dressed like a bogan, brown shorts with no belt, (fallling and exposing butt crack from time to time..... ), grey shirt and thongs......

The attendance was full, some folk were standing, unbeknown to me at the time ,I can confirm DEBOSS was there and i had a good chat with him after the meeting..........will tell more of that chat later.

AGM started with ALL resolutions PASSED with a big majority in the................YAH.

John Clark then highlighted the achievements of AVZ, then finished with the aggrievements ......as in the corruption and subsequent suspension , holding AVZ back.

After John finished his intial address, Nigel explained that chinese entities in cohorts with corrupt DRC officials enacted a massive misinformation / smear campaign about AVZ to FT whilst the initial stages of COVID was playing out, with Nigel & Co out of country and no other BOD member close to the " pulse "

Nigel then mentioned that alot of work is being done behind the scenes righting the wrongs of the smear camaign thru clear and concise documentation , which is slowly working thru the system , giving Felix more insight as to whats really going on.......

Apparently after the ML decree was announced , the BOD sensed a massive shorting campaign going on with the SP , so decided that was the TRIGGER to go in to VS.

Also mentioned the disinformation regards to Hot crapper and other sites ( not sure BOATMAN was mentioned ) as other catalyst to the deteriotation of the AVZ SP.............so if you think BODS dont read social media.........you know now !

I could sense the frustration / anger leaking out of Nigel and the BODS veins at this time.

Then a glossy slide show proceeded, in BOLD was AVZ HAVE GOOD LEGAL TITLE to 75%.......unequivocal

PRE ML AVZ 75%.........................COM / DRC 25%

PPOST ML AVZ 51% CATH 24%...................COM 15%.........DRC 10%

MOU with DRC Govt regards to refurbishment of MPIANA MWANGE plant..............safe & secure.

I am not going to lie, i controlled the floor, yes , my REAL name is JASON for those wondering whether it was BEISHA or JAG asking the questions.......


So here is my update.

1 ) What is the core reason why the ML has not been received ?.............Dathomir / Zijin ICC or CAMI ?

Answer.................CAMI..............illegally holding back surface rights docs etc

AVZ will only release the suspension once, ML is awarded, this does not depend on out comes regards to DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ICC................NIGEL super confident neither has a case ( spurios with no legal effect )

Mentioned that ICC arbitration / deliberations will be " open door "...........not closed, giving the impression that ZIJIN will eat humble pie with a wide audience...........

2 ) I then followed up with the ANNEXURE of northern CDL on Cami website

Apparently, because AVZ had not drilled any holes in the northern section, then this was the reason it was excluded as the only drill holes executed were done in the southern section.

Did AVZ drop the ball there ? I didnt ask that unfortunately..........it is what it is.

Nigel mentioned he is fighting hard to get a 5 yr exploration renewal on the northern section , but that is not guaranteed .

3) Well then i followed up and mentioned there was alot of conjecture regards to AJN claiming the northern section of CDL but before i could elude to POTENTIAL CONFLICT of INTEREST pertaining to Nigel still owning a heap of shares in AJN, Nigel must of anticipated that coming and cut to the chase..........

NIGEL was a director and owned shares in AJN when they were a GOLD play, no interest in any lithium play previously.

Once Nigel found out that AJN were potentially seeking a lithium acquisition ,he resigned as director immediately, but maintains his share holding in AJN is NOT a conflict of interest because he bought them ages ago.......

Hmmmmmmmmmm......take that as you will.

4) I asked the BOD if SEZ , UPDATED DFS , FID etc has been delayed by Dathomir / Zijin / corruption , not sure i got a clear answer to that, Nigel mention SEZ is still some way off being complete, so nothing to announce yet, the updated DFS is still being collated apparently, will the current infill drill program at RD be included with an updated price ?

Not sure, but he did mention the current drill program is 2/3 complete , with assay results due Q1 2023 some time.

5) I asked if AVZ had a plan B , ( if for some reason AVZ loses its court battles with DATHOMIR / ZIJIN ) regards to CATH 24%...........

Plain answer was...............NO

AVZ very confident in their legal rights regards to Dathomir / Zijin............AVZ has good relations with CATH, they just want supply, according to Scoota / Tonster, there was mention of some flexibility with percentage, but what blew me away, was that Nigel was talking about a potential $400m contribution from CATH in its entirety, so dont think CATH is a issue here.

6 ) I didnt get to ask CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE question, but i was reliably informed from some big hitters after the meeting , that " rumblings " , "inuendo ", " conjecture " dont fall into the category of continuous disclosure.

It must be official news.

7) SCOOTA asked a @Chilla question..........

Directors insurance has risen from $90k in 2021 to $513k in 2022......why ?

Has there been any claims against this policy in the last 2 yrs ?

ANSWER...........NO claims being made against the policy, price increase due to the elevated status of AVZ going from explorer to construction / production...............price of doing business.

BTW, all that conjecture about MR G Johnson 3Yr jail term / $500, 000 fine ( forgery ) is a load of BS, that was part of the SMEAR campaign via Dathomir 15% transfer to AVZ / DATHCOM.

He mentioned his name / reputation has been dragged thru the mud, but no case to answer.

8) I asked about a potential time line regards to production of RD.............Nigel mentioned that its about a 2 yr build for the processing plant, suggested mid 2024.

There were a couple of questions i didnt get to ask, but overall Nigel was very accomodating to folks asking questions, couldnt offer exact details due to the litigious nature of what he is dealing with......but i got the distinct impression that AVZ BOD have got their ducks in line due to strong documentation leading to the correct path way.

A couple of extra bits of info......

a) AVZ plan to build a 10m/tpa processing plant straight up, not just a 4.5m/tpa build

b) TANTALEX cant be offered a mining licence for the tailings of RD, only the main operator can be granted that which is of course AVZ / DATHCOM...........albeit , still waiting.


As mentioned before, after the meeting , caught up with DEBOSS.

Talk about not judging a picture frame, small dude, bald, gold chain , open shirt, ripped denims but hasnt sold a single one of his purported 40 million shares...........he is super confident of a good result.

Spoke to another heavy hitter, a chiropractor with 35 chiro centres all around Australia that he owns, collectively he and a couple of his mates hold 100m shares...........he is super confident of a good result too!

Both nudged, nudged , winked, winked about the ML being awarded mid November..............take that as you will.


Unfortunately they also shared a sobering thought too.......on release of suspension, (with AVZ obtaining ML ) could take a decent tumble due to certain rules instos must do once a coy enters / exits the ASX 200..........there was chatter about a dump to possibly 40c.........

But then they added, once that initial shock was over, instos would then start buying again, then the SP should rocket there after............food for thought
