In addition, there has been no official announcement as to what Kobold's offer actually was. So how does this commentator know it was 28c over 10 years? Clearly an insider wanting to stir up trouble and dissent.There's a lot to unpack here
You'll have to accept that there won't be another cent here...AVZ is disappearing further and further into obscurity.
No I won't lol
Just look at the current facts and events. DLA Piper, which has represented AVZ in this saga for years, is now publicly advertising for a new employee to take over the AVZ case...it doesn't get more amateurish than that.
You clearly don't understand how law firms work
AVZ is represented by multiple solicitors from DLA Piper

Here's the full list of responsibilities the advertisement includes:
Key areas of responsibility:
So unless you think all of the other files represented here are also somehow in trouble by the collaborative nature of law firms then your point is mute
- assisting AVZ Minerals in obtaining a return for shareholders from the Manono Lithium Project in the DRC including ICSID and ICC arbitration proceedings;
- advising POSCO on the acquisition of a minority interest in Mineral Resources' lithium operations;
- assisting a PE fund specialising in mines and metals with the deployment of capital in Australia;
- advising the WA mining industry on the test case in relation to whether the holder of a miscellaneous licence is liable to pay Shire rates;
- advising on the acquisition of operating copper mines in Kazakhstan;
- advising a gold miner on the retention of its tenement portfolio including proceedings before the Mining Warden;
- implementing an Asian steel-maker’s green-steel vision in Australia;
- advising in relation to the proposed development of brine lithium resources in South America;
- assisting on the acquisition of a portfolio of renewable energy projects;
- negotiating a split commodity arrangement to unlock value in a substantial WA exploration portfolio;
- assisting with the global expansion of one of Australia’s leading mining contractors;
- assisting with tenure and approvals for the development of an underground compressed air storage facility utilising an underground mine for construction access;
- supporting administrators on the management and sale of a distressed mining project; and
- drafting the Somali Mining Act and Regulations.
An Australian court has now drafted and published the complaint...when a court in its own country is working against AVZ, even though there's a chance of the world's largest lithium deposit, that speaks volumes.
You also have no idea how courts work
No Australian court has drafted any complaint against AVZ or its Directors. You seem to be referring to the statement of claim brought by ASIC. I have zero doubt that ASIC will lose that case just like Dathomir lost at the ICC LMAO
Kobold wants to "buy out" AVZ but doesn't even have the capital to raise $1 billion...how are they supposed to put the required $10 billion on the table then? Their offer was $0.28 per Australian dollar spread over 10 years...
I agree KoBold were never a serious buyer. The recognition by the DRC Government of AVZ's rights to the Manono Project was the point imo
Other international companies operating in the lithium industry are giving DRC and therefore AVZ a wide berth. They know exactly what a mess this is.
Zijin seem happy to operate there lol
Not even the US delegation is making any progress in the DRC, despite its massive support from the US government and Trump personally. It's highly unlikely any small Australian company will succeed either.
You clearly haven't read the agreement. The process is still in its infancy. The gringos don't play games just ask Maduro.
No Australian company or corporation has ever managed to gain a foothold in the world, or rather, outside of Australia. The Australian mentality isn't suited for it. They're simply too laid-back and unmotivated for the global market. This, coupled with highly corrupt officials in the DRC, is a recipe for disaster.
This is so stupid it's not worth responding to
Ferguson and his associates have been acting completely amateurishly in this whole situation for months, even years.
Can't say I completely disagree with this one haha
But our only other option was the 'anglo faced' paper dragon stooges so it's in Nigel we trust
Conclusion: You have the USA (a global power), DLA Piper (an absolute top company in such cases), CATL (a world leader in lithium), and a dozen influential shareholders on board, yet you're not making any progress at all; it feels like the whole thing is just winding down. How do you expect to convince anyone that anything worthwhile will come of this? Just face reality and the facts.
AVZ will win at the ICSID. The award will be enforced. Unless we are paid fair value.
Maduro being questioned in New York; Trump says US to ‘run’ Venezuela
Fat Felix needs to playball or face the same fate (or at least I can hope this would be the case)
Is Felix eating Pizza in the Photo?
With his track record predicting where this is going I'd say it's a positive sign.Concerning now Jen’s is trying to sell his 8m shares off the market…
Who said that ? What's the source ?Concerning now Jen’s is trying to sell his 8m shares off the market…

He seems like a muppet, wouldn’t worry about itThank you...thats's not a good signal
Two months ago he was claiming it would be sold by Christmas despite official announcements indicating we should not expect any updates on the situation until end of February. He's probably disappointed and in a weak emotional state right now due to his own foolish expectations and the inevitable disappointed he set himself and others up for.Thank you...thats's not a good signal
Anyone have any thoughts on where this latest surge in lithium price will go? I figure it may cool off towards mid 2026 once Zijin start selling stolen goods. Just my guesswork, what do you lot think?
