AVZ Discussion 2022

Doesnt china already own 30 odd percent of AVZ? isnt that what the voting % was with those MMGA losers? What im getting at is if a US company wants to buy it, Chinese shareholders are going to dig their heels in unless they get a fair price, they know the value of AVZ.
If you are a 30% owner of AVZ, regardless of the colour of you skin, or shape of your eyes, would you be happy if the BOD would sell your investment for 1, 10, or 50% of its true value, or would you support the BOD to fight for a fair deal?

Just an honest question.

When you have failed to steal the asset, of course you’d want the best return on your equity investment

Exactly what CATH’s done Kim😘😘

Thats kind of what im getting at, people here stressing about low ball offers being accepted. At the end of the day china aint going to part with their 30% for bread crumbs or a bowl of rice.

They’re not mining it today because you don’t just roll up and start digging — you need infrastructure, financing, and logistics in place. That takes time. But the fact remains: KoBold has already signed an agreement with the DRC that clearly expresses their intent to mine the site. That alone shows how little the DRC cares about ICSID.

And just to be clear — even Zijin hasn’t started production in the north yet. They’re not slated to produce until 2026.

I stand by what I wrote: no matter what happens to us, by this time next year someone will be well underway to mining it. We’ve done all the planning for them — they just have to stroll in and start building.

Or hey, maybe you’re right and I’m talking shit. The DRC is a beacon of the rule of law, contracts are sacred, corruption doesn’t exist — and ICSID is the golden ticket that saves us all.

Producing and mining aren't the same thing.

And this shitshow has been going for a few years. More than enough time to get started.

Don't be obtuse.

I think certain shareholders are overly emotional given everything we've been through and looking for vengeance. And I certainly understand that. But I really don't care. It's not my fight. I just want my money so I can move on with my life.
The emotion seems to be directly related to the size of one's financial exposure. Holding a relatively modest parcel, mostly free carried, I'm more sanguine about the outcome which affords me a healthy measure of objectivity I feel.

Yet some of the more strident voices would have got set early with a killer average, only to then chase the run-up to a dollar or more, and blowing their average before getting trapped by the TH.

Hence the mutterings of class-actions, vengeance against corrupt actors, ridicule of fellow holders as trolls, plus threats to journos, and their families! Rather than take personal responsibility for their reckless investing, it's someone's else fault.

Even an embarrassing public plea by NF for some self-restraint is ignored!? Clown world.

Massacres in eastern Congo cast doubt on U.S. mediated peace deal

August 20, 20255:16 PM ET...Now who is the REAL CLOWN ...imo
KINSHASA, Democratic Republic of Congo — Rwandan backed M23 rebels in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo killed 141 villagers in July, Human Rights Watch said Wednesday, despite hopes that President Trump-backed peace talks would end long-running violence in the troubled region.

Implementation of the Doha process!

Exceeding the expected deadline

The deadline for concluding a comprehensive peace agreement was August 18. This deadline was not met, raising concerns about a possible interruption of the process.

Obstacles to the preconditions of the M23

Before resuming discussions, the M23 movement calls for the prior execution of essential commitments, including the release of detainees.

As for the Congolese government, it perceives this issue as a negotiating point rather than a precondition.

A draft agreement transmitted on August 19 to both parties by Qatar:

Implementation phases with clear timetable:

Day 0: Signing of the agreement.

+30 days: first meeting of the Multilateral Monitoring Mechanism.

+60 days: end of Phase I.

+120 days: end of Phase II.

+180 days: end of Phase III.

Post-agreement calendar:

2026: launch of a national dialogue and implementation of an Economic Recovery Plan.

2027: organization of free, fair and transparent elections in the affected region.

Implementation of key mechanisms
:

Creation of an Interim Special Force, with a 5-year renewable mandate if necessary (section 8.a).

Development of a Comprehensive Economic Recovery Plan, to be announced before the end of Phase III (Article 15).

Establishment of a Mechanism of Truth and Reconciliation before the conclusion of Phase III (Article 16).

LATEST NEWS

But since then there's been virtually no change on the ground in eastern Congo, despite President Trumps frequent claims to the contrary. Speaking as recently as Friday Trump told Fox News "I've settled wars that have gone on for 35 years, a couple of them, and, you know, the Congo and Rwanda, that was 31 years.

Thanks @Bin59 for your research, I really appreciate it.
I don’t see any other relevant news being put out here, but it’s all in the Zero Trolls conversation.

HAS Nigel or AVZ updated SH on this matter..???imo

Manono Project Update

AVZ Minerals Limited (AVZ or Company) is aware of the signing of a framework agreement between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (GDRC) and Kobold Metals Company (Kobold) (GDRC Kobold Agreement) which, amongst other things, purports to include a commitment by GDRC and Kobold to develop the southern section of the Manono Lithium and Tin Project (Manono Project).

If you mean this one - not yet, as discussions with Kobold and other parties are incomplete, and if you had done more research you’d know that nothing will come of that framework agreement until AVZ is provided with a fair compensation, as stated by Kobold in their breathlessly hurried first announcement

Not sure which announcement you are referring to though, is there another one out there that my extensive research may have missed? If so, please include a link and I’ll see what I can make of it

If you would like to participate in well researched and open discussions on the subject, please converse with @Winenut and he will consider you for an invite to the ZERO TROLLS conversation

oh, wait…….yeh nah on that

200,000 shares at the last trade share price is $156K
Even at 1c it's $2K.
At 10c it's $20K

I can't believe anyone would be that ill informed with that amount of cash on the line.
I see it as my initial investment on the line, which is a low average share price seeing as I got in early. Additionally, I had realistically low expectations of success with this company, all things considered. Do people really follow every detail of each stock they have $2k in, especially the dumpster fire of the past few years? I know a handful of people who have more shares than me who don't have the slightest idea of what's going on, so not that hard to believe.

Before talking about the Omnibridge class action, I would start with investigating what that class action is all about.
You could be wasting tour time.
I am just being kind here.

Taking in account your first posts on here where you wrote, you have held your shares for about 5 years, one can assume you paid between 5 and 10 cents for your shares.
So would you like to take the BOD to court if they sell let's say for 20 cents, or even worse for 10 cents? 😳

Btw, I hope you worked out getting the shares registered in your own name, so you can receive your money when AVZ monetises its Manono Lithium and Tin discovery.
I wasn't referring to the past class action, but what might happen in the future. Maybe they're one in the same, but I'm not sure which is why I'm asking.
Yes, timeline and share price are correct.
No, I would not take part in any litigation against the BOD as I feel they've done an exemplary job under the circumstances regardless of arguments of non-disclosure.
As I mentioned, I contacted AVZ directly regarding share registry and they informed me that it was not necessary to register with Atomic.
Cheers
