Exactly!!!! Also why I have said all along, the value of the north needs to be factored into any quick resolution. Otherwise pursue legal avenues and seek restitution.

Yeah to me it smells like Kobold tried an opportunistic "hey sell it to us for cheap/half price let China have the north". Where as Trump has a very hardline "China needs to pay" approach. Last article said, Rio, Kobold, Orion - so many suitors linging up. I can't see how/why US would continue to let China project powr and pillage Africa and disrupting global markets (subsidising lithium production suppressing global price... tarrif China lithium chemicals, cars, solar panels, etc 1000%).

And Chi-nah has a lot of sunk costs (legitimate and illegitimate) in the DRC.
I find it almost unsettling at this stage of the game that we are hearing bugger-all from these rodents and their corrupt DRC proxies about a potential sale of Manono to western interests. Not a whisper. The pricks have to be up to something underhand. It's in their DNA.

The 'Something happening on the 10th of April' has been bandied around since early this year.
I'm going to go ahead and assume that may have been the original date for the US delegation visit / minerals negotiation which has already occurred so I wouldn't look too much into it.

Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable.
Critical minerals are already in the crosshairs of this administration, now we have what is practically a proclamation of economic war. Anyone thinking 10B USD for Manono wasn't feasible, you slap a national security label on our asset and you betcha it is.
Time for US to pony up if they want supply chain surety.

I know there have been a lot of positive developments recently, and it's encouraging to see some mentions of big names interested partnering/purchasing, but with the sheer complexity of this situation, the pessimist in me (and my gut feeling) still says we’re a long way from the finish line.
I just don’t see this being resolved in the next few months and I think our cases will begin as negotiations are still underway in the background.
I only say this to help keep expectations in check as the Board of Directors continues to navigate what is clearly a legal and geopolitical quagmire. Remaining stoic is tough, but necessary here for all holders if only for your own mental health.
