If you haven't tried it before, instead of castor sugar try 1:1 - 2:1 white sugar to boiling water to make a syrup; wont need a cup's worth - maybe 150ml depending how sweet you want it -Our lime tree has produced so much this year, I have squeezed enough juice to make about 100 margarita's - problem is the cost of tequila given it's the largest proportion......300ml, lime 200ml, cointreau 100ml, a cup of castor sugar- serves 4, but really only two, pour over crushed ice

I found a giant plastic margarita glass that holds about 550ml liquid or about 800ml frozen. Only disappointing thing is can't get a salt rim on plastic. Can't wait for some hotter days to get that bad boy out again
