You’re right, more like $2.50…You guys....
$2 is now an absolute pipe dream IMO.
There would have to be something to come out of left field to get a value like that at this stage.
Absolutely. We’ve all learned a valuable lesson, don’t send a Tasmanian to battle a bunch of snakes in Africa, it only goes pearshaped.1.50 would be an absolute godsend. DRC business climate 10x worse than expected ( even after researching it). I’m stoked at that number having learned about how they treat investors
Lot of that happening these days it would seem....
2 agm's ago, Nigel was asked the question by Beisha about the substantial increase in BOD insurance premiums. Would the insurance now be called upon and therefore funded by the insurance? Question to ask at the next AGMMMGA are such cunts and trying to drain our accounts, same as the DRC government
I think the insurance was more Directors and Officers Insurance or Management Liability Insurance.2 agm's ago, Nigel was asked the question by Beisha about the substantial increase in BOD insurance premiums. Wombat,$1.50 gets everyone out of this mess .
What price would you be happy with SilentOne ? Just a ball park figure will do .Wombat,
No it doesn't - what about those that have taken out commercial loans - you have no idea what messes people are navigating including those that have lost their deposits on new houses and the like. $2.50 for some doesn't even come close.
I am happy to go down the road of the ICSID / ICC if necessary, but I would prefer not to - $2.50 doesn't even cut it.
Regards,
SilentOne
2.5$ is equal to around 9 billion Australian dollars. Anyone who thinks we will actually end up with 9 billion dollars from this situation has rocks in their head. And yet you say that doesn't even cut it?Wombat,

Are you suggesting that some people took out commercial loans to buy AVZ shares or did I read that wrong?Wombat,

I think the insurance was more Directors and Officers Insurance or Management Liability Insurance.
That type of insurance is designed to protect management/the board being sued for wrongdoing in the execution of their fiduciary duties
It's not business risk insurance or business disruption insurance or anything like that so I think the answer to your question is probably no
Hi Mr Rhyno.@SilentOne mate your perspective is so absurd it should be a Dali painting. You think because people took out high interest loans to buy into a stock with insane sovereign risk The ordinary shareholders should refuse a settlement above the highest share price recorded? And your mate thinks people don’t have the right to speculate at $1.50. The right!! I mean what coolaid are you drinking! We are slim to none chance of getting out of this with anything at all. But with a 9/20billion dollar settlement. That they actually pay!!! It’s not Friday mate save the jokes
Oh mate of course. Here’s where I’m at for what it’s worth. I’d like to believe we are in negotiations that they have opened up lines of communication at least with zinjin to get us a deal to get us out of their hair while they set up their mining operations. I think the bird has flown on DRC Government negotiations. I think Nigel is good enough to know he’s got to get above the all time highs and I think he’s in a good position to do so. They can’t steal it. And they can’t mine it if we are held up in court. I’m hoping deal. I’m hoping upwards of $1.50. But I’ve read enough history on the DRC to know things rarely go well over there. And I don’t suggest $1.50 because it’s what we are worth. I suggest it because I want out. ASAPHi Mr Rhyno.
How'd you go from $1.50 to zero within a few hours?
Slim to zero chance of getting any money you say?
Yet 2 hours ago we're getting $1.50?
Very confusing please explain.
Well said. And furthermore;Hello to all AVZ holders. I'd like to put forward some musings if I may.
Like many, I'm a long term holder.
And FYI, I'm just as annoyed as anyone about the last couple of years.
I do however have a slight bounce to my step currently, as I believe things are turning/have turned in our favour.
Firstly, silence from the BoD. Interesting. No? Been a loooong time.
They've definitely gone to ground.
AGM rapidly approaching. Have you read what's being voted on? Really?
It's a nothing. It's meaningless. IMO, just a couple of issues to vote on, " 'cause we gotta have an AGM." It'll be over in ten minutes.
Where's the MMGA crew? That's right. NOWHERE!
No additional motions put forward.
No persons of ill repute putting their hand up to be voted in.
No motions for board spills.
In my humble opinion, a deal's been done.
News prior to AGM? Maybe? Probably.
Most likely.
Food for thought?
