AVZ Discussion 2022

A thought I had is many shareholders engaging 60 Minutes Australia via their website about the story (they have webpage where people can suggest stories to investigate) to get their attention. They are generally considered a to be a very high standard of investigative journalism. And being a major national journalism production it would draw attention to this issue on a much larger scale. The 60 Minutes brand is international too, being a major American show (US version of it).

Battle for worlds largest hard rock lithium resource with major significance for renewable energy transition, Aus company developed it and screwed over by human-rights abusing Chinese multinational backed by CCP agenda and corrupt DRC officials. Empty promises from DRC gov about weeding out corruption and bringing in foreign investment. International arbitration cases, IGF, etc
Definitely 60 minutes worthy story.

Just my opinion
Great shout, will email, can't hurt

Great idea. The only problem is that the AFR (AKA Tommy Two Dick's employer) is also owned by Nine Entertainment:unsure:
Which is major owned by the lovable Gina, who is deep in lithium and does not want us online!

I could post what I wrote, but I'm aware that there are detractors lurking some who may write counter submissions to these news outlets and I'm reluctant to share exactly what I wrote. I think any statement, even a short one helps. The more SHs that send the better.

Below is the email address for 60 minutes America if you feel like forwarding them what you sent to our media.

60min@cbsnews.com.
Cheers yea why not (y)

Celestin probably sold their server to PRC.

Blank here too.
MoM, soon to be the INSPECTOR for MINES, or IfM, is on a cost cutting exercise to self fund the ICC fine.
Paying the subscription for the Cadastre Portal is one of the steps.

Blank here too

It's specific to the DRC Cadastre as the mining portals for other countries (eg Uganda, Ivory Coast etc) seem to be working through the Spatial Dimension website

I tried quite a few....DRC seems the only problematic one

Commercial stations and their current affairs offshoots are interested in ratings, which drive advertising revenue. Emotion and outrage drive audience engagement and therefore ratings. As a result the AVZ story may not have a lot of clout, and may fail to get a ticket to the game.

The federal government, on the other hand is driven by national public sentiment and the need to remain in power. There will be a federal election in late 2025.

Consider writing to your local federal MP or senator, but don't copy and paste someone else's work or you risk getting it binned as just another campaign letter. The MP or senator will forward your brief letter to the appropriate minister/s in Canberra and seek a reply.

Your letter should:
  • be brief and factual, and one page maximum
  • not contain swearing or derogatory terminology (sorry)
  • ask that your letter be forwarded to the responsible minister for his/her consideration and reply
  • ask one or two clear questions (for instance, what diplomatic steps have been undertaken, and what outcomes achieved)

Cheers
F
