Can MMGA just associate their logo with AVZ? Surely there must be a trademark issue with that?
Well a bunch of us make hats, beers, memes with AVZ logo.....

Watch our interview with Michael Carrick, a nominated director for the board of AVZ Minerals. He discusses concerns with the company as part of the Make Manono Great Again initiative
@MMGACIC
Watch here: https://youtu.be/GxCxJ0RWZHg

Peter Huljich's reputation is so far down the toilet the MMGA boys have changed the order of the nominated directors on their website

Looks like they're trying to promote Carrick as the new Mr Clean poster boy for the group

We all know how excellent and clean Carrick's reputation is dealing with mines in developing countries

Excellent relationship with the PNG government while Chairman of RTG Mining

Absolute crooks and liars through and through

Started off admitting Fat Tail only has a small number of shares in AVZ, couldn’t answer his own question on how Nigel got a meeting with Tshisekedi immediately after the MMGA message, kept referring to tommy and the AFR who are known for misleading articles, had no idea about the contracts or money paid to Dathomir but kept acknowledging AVZ’s 75% interest in Dathcom, acknowledged Dathomir’s apparent reneging on the contract but can’t understand why we can’t get on with Dathomir or Cominiere (after they illegally sold off 15% of the project) on top of which, we had the ‘right of first refusal’….

Then says “that’s why we have been nominated” (rather than we nominated ourselves on behalf of Simon Cong, Guy Loando and other Chinese interests) then says “We are not interested in the fairness of it” and further goes on to say “You know, we have no vested interest in the dispute”

@Winenut I love the satellite views of the tenement, and as I’m sure you know, that new partition of the northern section includes an area we have drilled and received assays for, so clearly illegal trying to steal that section

My goodness what a complete dud Carrick is…. FFS I didn’t know he was actually on our side

Can anyone imagine him in arbitration, his closing statement would be like porky pig saying abee abee abee that’s all folks…. at least we know we have a secret weapon in their ranks

Started off admitting Fat Tail only has a small number of shares in AVZ, couldn’t answer his own lie of how Nigel got a meeting with Tshisekedi immediately after the MMGA maggots propaganda message kept referring to tommy turd and the AFR who are known for putting out deceptive and misleading articles, had no idea about the contracts or money paid to Dathomir but kept acknowledging AVZ’s 75% interest in Dathcom, acknowledged Dathomir’s apparent reneging on the contract but can’t understand why we can’t get on with Dathomir or Cominiere (after they illegally sold off 15% of the project) on top of which, we had the ‘right of first refusal’….

Would it be worth the forum collaborating on a document that quotes his lines and a response? Basically, a more involved version of your comment that can be spread on social media.

Maybe 18 months ago but not now. Cominiere have been granted the PR renewal. Most likely we have been offered the south in return for dropping all arbitration proceedings against the DRC and its controlled entities. Or it's off to the ICSID we go for years with god knows how much dilution needed to fund legal costs. It's take it or leave it at this point imo
Why not accept the deal as it stands and rescind the North, take RD and then later when we are all up and running, take the DRC to ICSID to reclaim the entire lot as per our original deal.

If the DRC cry foul because we had an agreement then it shouldn't be much of an issue because apparently, contracts and agreements have no relevance in the DRC.

Easy peasy. Job done.

Fire with fire. At least it would get some traction on construction and establish ourselves in the region.

It does deeply make me sick that they could get away with the blatant corruption and theft though.

Good idea Wino!

Instead of wasting time preaching to the converted here with part 4 or whatever you're up to with AVZ meme narrative, put a bit of effort into this and share it here and on the Assets Page.

Must confess to feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning...
Yeah me too j.l. it's definitely one of those days/weeks/months...I'm going for a jog by the river to clear my head. Chin up though. Hopefully some clarification next week after that meeting that was mentioned.

For my 2c,

I always see the amount of shitfuckery as somewhat proportionate reaction to how actual discussions are progressing.
The more things gradually move in our favour, the harder the snakes have to work to try and make it look like it's going in the other direction.

So while the fact we are always left out from actual details makes the current portal updates concerning, I see all this (Mpinga, MMGA, Cami portal) as a visible negative reaction that what is hopefully invisible positive progress.

Lets remember that while we haven't moved very far in 18 months:
- Neither have zijin, despite their best efforts they have rescinded (sort of) their 15% claim and things not looking good for them at arbitration
- Cominiere management got booted. Yes new management not much better but still getting rid of JFM is a big roadblock removed.
- AVZ 'case' now being handled by Department (ministry?) of Justice rather than Ministry of Mines
- We have confirmation that NF has ACTUALLY met with FT. Not just vague references to 'discussions with high-level government'
- We have had confirmation of embassy support and involvement
- We have had recent confirmation of an MoU, an actual tangible step forwards
- On top of the lithium we will have extra revenue from 'The tale of AVZ' when it gets released in cinema

And this is just from the bits we actually get to see. Most of our progress is confidential.
Despite their best efforts, the snakes may have stalled things but they have not made any progress in stealing anything. It looked like maybe they did when the tenement was split, but even that's been undone now.

I think we are getting close to a conclusion with all this, and I'm optimistic.
Remember - DRC gains NOTHING from letting zijin steal the project. The best outcome for DRC is still for AVZ/CATH to become the shining beacon for a new era of win-win* development in Manono, and that show's DRC can be a good destination for international investment.

(*the 'win-win' where both parties get a win. Not the Chinese version where they take 2-wins and the other party nothing)

Any word on what was discussed between the ambassador and Felix? You would think it would be common courtesy to publish a transcript of the meeting. I have just emailed the embassy in Zimbabwe, will post response if I get one.

Hey Scoota once again i agree totally with your thoughts here. I think is unlikely Nigel will roll over and will take this all the way if he has to. To this point pretty much everything thrown at us involves corruption and bribery driven iam sure by the deep pockets of the Chinese and there total disregard for the rule of law. In saying that these guys while being totally devoid of ethics or conscience are no doubt smart fuckers and are only to aware that even if they do get hold of our tenement they will have Nigel and a bunch of angry shareholders on their tail for however long it takes. The only way to avoid this situation is to gain control of AVZ hence the Chinese backed MMGA clowns all out bid for board control. I believe that pretty much everything to date has been leading to this and we are and will continue to be inundated with all sorts of bullshit before the AGM in a bid to sway shareholders to the dark side
Now is definately not the time to falter and in fact as these corrupt kunts are doing we need to go full on to make sure every shareholder is fully aware of the real story. Fuck Zijin Cominiere CKK Cong Tommy Lars etc etc
You give the chinese a inch, they will take a mile.

The time to make a stance was when Felix received the IGF report, that should of been the trigger to make the picture frame clear to Cominiere / Zijin that the corrupt practices of yesterday was not appreciated in the now.

Didnt happen, now Zijin / Cominiere / Cong etc are taking further liberties providing further rough shod, due to severe weakness from the head honcho.

AVZ had been left out to dry and fight a battle that they should never of had to, if only the IGF report was respected, AVZ was respected for what they found when no one else was willing and DRC law respected.

Sad.

imo
