Zijin use bully tactics, they sent in excavators into Manono at one stage, the fucking audacity!
Manono township arrested them though, at least they recognise those snakes.
Unfortunately it's likely Zijins company (I forget the name) shown working at the Hydro station.
It's just some tactic, more disruption ect ect.
I'm faily certain that Manono plant can run on diesel generators if need be, but we have the MoU, we'll get the hydro eventually.
Edit: Katamba Mining is the company apparently working on the Hydro.

I could get into that powerstation and film too if I gave everyone a fiver, it could be the state gutting everything out for melt money or reuse before someone jumps in to fix it up,just don't know at this point. Like everyone here hoping AVZ come out with confirmation.

Feeling sightly on the generally pissed off side this morning I also suspect that switch from the MoP to the MoJ is simply because AVZ are currently taking the fucking DRC Govt to international court/arbitration

Zijin & Cominiere JV providing free rehabilitation. Until such time we decide to pursue legal avenues to close it down.
Problem with allowing them to go too far is that they will cry and bitch like the pissant, pissweak squeaky wheels that they are. So although its amusing, it is probably best not to let them go too far - you know the old saying, give them an inch...
