@JAG and anyone else who wants a clean version of the video to use instead of the youtube one as it can be a bit problematic on twitter. Here's a WeTransfer link you can download it but it will only last a few days so get it while it's hot.

Why? Are you thinking of slinging old mate Celestin a few Mars Bars to get the party started with your new $2 shelf company? It might work.

DRC: Félix Tshisekedi revamps the judiciary, several magistrates dismissed, retired or promoted

The senior magistrates on the occasion of the return to parliament at the Court of Cassation on October 15, 2020/Ph ACTUALITE.CD

  • Tuesday August 29, 2023 - 10:01

The President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi has made important arrangements within the judiciary. At the end of a series of ordinances made public on Monday, several magistrates were dismissed, retired, promoted and still others were subject to compulsory resignation.
The Head of State dismissed magistrates who had been the subject of court convictions and who could no longer exercise their functions in accordance with the disciplinary texts governing the profession. Some magistrates of the Council of State were considered deserters of their posts for not having attended the working sessions of this jurisdiction and were automatically resigned. These include judges Noël Botakile and Léon Odimula.

Several other magistrates were assigned to a higher court. Judge Aimé Ilunga Tshamakeji, First President of the Kinshasa/Gombe Court of Appeal has been promoted to Counselor at the Court of Cassation, the Attorney General at the Kinshasa Court of Appeal/Matete Sylvain Kaluila has been appointed Advocate General at the Court of Cassation. Magistrates of the courts of first instance, courts of peace as well as prosecutors near these courts have obtained higher rank.

Other presidential orders concerned the retirement of some magistrates as well as the posthumous elevation of deceased magistrates.
These appointments within the judiciary take place in a context of renewal of this profession through the appointment of new civil and military magistrates, following the recruitment competition organized throughout the Republic. 2,500 magistrates have been appointed and have started their training.

It’s good to see the dead guys getting elevated. However, I’m unsure how they’ll use their newfound authority from the grave.

No company will take a risk to develop 13359 until our case is still in courts If someone does then AVZ will bankrupt it.
