Assuming/when avz are successful with all icc cases or receive the mining license, could avz sue zigin and cominier for damages at icc? Or could avz start this now? It would look really attractive not needing to raise money or finance debt to build mine or any expansion. Avz would have more than enough cash to lift or support the share price regardless of the outcome. If they did loose it all then the they go after the government as already discussed. @Roon or @MoneyBags1348 might have some good ideas about this.

Avz could have billions in bank with or without a mine. A junior without a resource or a mine, but billions of $ has got to be worth something. And if they take cominier and zinjin to icc for damages now, could they not possibly have a verdict before the mine has finished being built?

Regarding Frank's prolific output I would also appreciate a dedicated thread to accommodate his content. His good intentions notwithstanding, in this age of information overload online reading is all about scanning. And faced with acres of text I simply scroll straight through.

Much more effective is a short one sentence precise of the essential elements of the piece with a link supplied for those who want to read more. Otherwise for me it's a case of TLDR. Life's too short.

I understand this no conflicts of interest ‘bit of radio crackle’ from someone in Kinshasa currently, is hardly bearable but on a public platform it is best resolution I have. I never try to mislead or intend to. And it’s in AVZ’s favour which is the key point, like a COVID test kit ; Y/N.
Hearing Barrick / Anglo is who Hochstein wants to bring in to DRC. BHP and RIO also sniffing in DRC, some barriers based on some history around corruption and sanctions broadly affecting western appetite, ERG’s history was cited for example.
But major resistance to investing in DRC is the Congolese government itself.

The only reason I heard about the copper interest is because the journo found my scrappings on RIO’s interest in Manono very interesting.
My scrapings go back to sometime in 2019, and include their purported interest in investing in the Manono project back then with a $ figure purportedly given, and purportedly interested in expanding the Piana Mwanga river dimension for electrical power capacity. I suspect considering AVZ had the MOU for the facility from ministry that this must have encouraged RIO’s interest, and is one reason why the Congolese were so eager to MOU with AVZ over hydro plans rather than say just give the lease to Cominiere to sell bananas in front of the hydro facility
