Fresh from a Journalist in Kinshasa:

zijin probably out,
maybe Cominiere too,
dathomir out,
maybe CATL stays or leaves and comes back,
AVZ maybe stays but renegotiates or doesn’t renegotiate and is gone too.

But after all my years in congo I could be completely wrong

This is very good because it means Tom Richardson is isolated from spawning his articles to other platforms
Sauce ?
Or taxi-driver ?

I'm no psychologist but you can get a pretty good feel for the attitude, mindset and psyche of a person who writes a line like that and how they perceive themselves and subsequently treat other people....

Don't you think?

to post 2024 at earliest.
If so, how does AVZ sustain itself financially?

This is why I also think contacting ASPI editors who have influence in the right places in Canberra, would aid AVZ greatly.

I’m sure it’s crossed everyone’s mind Zijin is a state owned enterprise I think by 10% equity.

AVZ is fighting the Chinese government

AFR via Tom supports the Chinese Gov

ASPI with reach in Canberra and political and legal elites does not support China

AVZ would require an independant source that would be taken seriously by the right people watching that spook tank ASPI

In my view GOV assistance to AVZ should also be financial - it’s a Ridiculous disconnect to interfere in Yibin not taking a board seat but then allow the Chinese to dry AVZ out, (worse case scenario as Roon avers.

Tell you what @Frank ....

You keep doing EXACTLY what you're doing and what YOU want to do

Your posts and contribution above all are the ones that I and many others look for and respect

Love your style, love your comments, love what you bring to the forum and I love your undiminished, quiet dignity and ability to remain above the festering swamp

Don't change a thing
I wish I could give you 10 fires for that one.

Do not let a fly in with multiple accounts tell people on this forum when and how high to jump.

Love your work Frank, just fukkum. (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

Understood and agreed. I think we are witnessing the difference between knowledge and wisdom on the TSZ AVZ thread now. BR
Not adding to the conversation here but,
That reminds me of this.......

"What AFR have a grip on is the imagination of it’s readership, a professional class set who are 99% going to listen to the AFR "

Disagree, AFR was a good read back in the day, when they had multiple journalists cross referencing the TRUTH, now its just cut and paste with many grammatical errors that a child could pick out.......;)

Put simply, AFR is just gutter trash, with low cred which AVZ and Marius will prove in the distance of time, then their relevance will be even less.

@JAG , any chance you can get on the BIDEN / BLINKEN twitter feed and ask them if they are going to allow corrupt Cominiere / Zijin to steal the most prized lithium asset the world has ever seen and allow CHYNA to control the lithium narrative, like they have done with every other mineral ?

imo
Hi Beisha,

I absolutely agree with your observations about the AFR - I used to treat what I was reading from the AFR as fact and well researched.

These days I simply use it as a tool to highlight an issue/event in the world and will use another source to validate what's been published.

I read the Financial Review every Saturday but are finding the read somewhat disappointing at times and question the money I am spending.

Regards,

Silent.

Got news for you brother of the other nut.
Any instruction to tell me who , when and how to email will be filed in the appropriate place.
If the 🤡 is in the same room, I jam the instruction into one of the most appropriate orifice.

I never subscribed to AFR, but before ONLINE news took hold, was a avid reader for years and used their " intel " as a basis for my investment decisions when i was a BUY & HOLD LTH......

Now i consider AFR to be no more value than MORNINGSTAR.

Thanks @cruiser51 for a sincere and fairly comprehensive reply. I thought that’s what I might get from you and I appreciate it very much!

I totally agree it’s not wise calling anyone names (except Celestin Kibeya who is without doubt lying and weaseling, and quite possibly disliked by the majority).

I have taken your opinions on board, and agree with you on many areas, and assure you that anything I do would be factual rather than resentful.

Here’s a couple of other facts for you @Frank @Winenut @BEISHA @JAG and other long term regulars

I received two more warnings and had two more posts moderated by zeebots late last night so it looks like someone is going back through the threads to have us moderated. When I looked to reply to zeebots this morning I noticed the conversation had already been closed to reply to, even though it was started late last night 🤔

Two posters showed up here (pretty much in tandem) about two weeks ago. Many here recognise the insidious way trolls go about diverting a narrative.

I know of one in particular who doesn’t hold shares because I have a copy of a post where he clearly states it…. I suspect neither hold shares

There seems to be a narrative that the AFR had taken control of the situation, which we know is rubbish because we have evidence of their misleading and deceptive actions and AVZ and Marius have also provided statements on this matter

I hope all GENUINE shareholders aren’t conned by subversive, disruptive and usurping wolves in sheep’s clothing and the threads find some integrity again

I have only stated my opinion here, no names mentioned, no trolling, no baiting and no derogatory comments

Thanks again @cruiser51 and genuine shareholders for the support and honesty you show towards me as well as AVZ
Thanks MB
FWIW I concur with cruiser (great name btw - though I'm not sure the slang here is the same as UK).
You're dead right about the trolls, I have decided to have no interaction with them as I see no benefit to the thread.
Interestingly, they are now advising us as to how to proceed. BIG LOLS

I only get the digital version (it is tax deductible) and you can't hang that one in the toilet for a main job to be done.
I am afraid it is the only thing it is good for now these days

I am pretty sure i read somewhere, more than likely via @Frank , that Australian embassy in DRC is in the know regards to the MANONO heist.

I do agree tho that AVZ should receive financial assistance from the Australian govt in this legal stoush, after all, it would be worth millions upon millions to them as tax revenue, US financial assistance should be forth coming too if they are serious about....
