Just a thought.

The call to lay off the attacks on the DRC politicians could be so, as to not detract from an official campaign against these corrupt actors.

Who knows.......

How could the DRC government have banked $100m tax if Manono was still 6 months away from 1st shipment?
It comes from the 12 months delay.
If we were expedited as expected you could say around 2 years lost tax revenues and around double the figure.
Not well written I'd agree and technically they'd not have banked it yet but we get the drift. 🤷‍♂️
Regardless it's costing them big time... And us.

Yeah I'm aware of where it comes from haha

The DRC will get the money at some point. It just won't be until after we are profitable. Which at this rate will be after the ice caps have melted and renewables are useless.

Has something worth mentioning happened?
I watched this for about 12 months religiously but I can't stomach any more of it.
Useless twats.

Thanks @cruiser51 . I skimmed through but could not see any discussion of AVZ, Dathcom, Manono, Lithium, Cominiere.
Come on Felix, please support AVZ and DRC people - Please award the ML to Dathcom.

I would rather gouge my eyes out with a spoon than watch another one of the ministerial meetings. Well and truly over waiting for someone to show some common sense. I sometimes wonder if we are all being self centred, but surely $100m in lost revenue could help some of the poor souls in this corrupt cesspit. Dumkarnts they are!

*I hate to remind, but it's worth mentioning, mainly for the Dumbarses in the DRC who don't give a Shit

Don't forget the Farkin' $Rin $Tin $Tin you Twits, because,

Global: Tin prices surge to 33,394.18 USD per ton, marking a 10% rise

Tin prices climbed 10% on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, to reach the bar of 33,394.18 USD per ton on the Shanghai stock exchange in China.
According to specialists in the sector, the suspension of mining in Burma is the cause of fears over supply.

In London, tin is posting a 3.9% gain this week and is trading at $28,440 a tonne, a level not seen since February 2023.

“In Shanghai, tin prices climbed more than 10% on Tuesday, reaching their highest level in 2 months.

The most traded contract (May expiry) gained up to 10.5% at 229,490 yuan/t (33,394.18 USD).

On the LME, tin for three-month delivery posted a gain of 3.9% to USD 28,440 per tonne, a level not seen since February 2023. ”, inform the indications of the exchange.

At the base of this fear, the Burmese ethnic militia WA (United Wa State Army) announced a suspension of activity, as of August, in all the mines under its control.

Wa State, a semi-autonomous special region of Burma, is the country’s main tin-producing region. Burma being the world’s third largest producer of tin.

This situation can be profitable for the mining industry of the Democratic Republic of Congo which represents a very important part of the export of tin in the world.

I Pray for you lot ( DRC ) seriously 🙏

Food for thought

It's bloody obvious AVZ is not as important to the conseil des ministres as it is to AVZ shareholders.

I'm rather surprised that the antics of the green princess didn't get a guernsey, but different country, different priorities, I suppose.

What these happenings make clear is that the DRC is not the same as Australia.

They do things their way and we do things our way.

Ask in Australia the gas companies, or self funded retirees how they feel with the current government, every fart, changing the goal posts, or starting another rumour to gauge a response.

Ohh all IMO of course, almost forgot that.

Anybody has any clue how much money and how or what they can have in their super account in the near future and how to compute that?
This is saving for the entire population for their future and again the government sees a big pot of gold and a small insignificant amount of voters being effected in the near future......., they think at first bite.
Followed by holy shit in 5 years time even Andy Cap gets squeezed in the process.

One would think for once a superannuation system would be set in concrete and fukwits would stop fukking with it.

What I am trying to say is the DRC has a different set of priorities.

We have to deal with a wanker who sets financial policy from New York, while wearing a 1965, 10x poorly dry cleaned, Target suit, great stuff, aint it?
Not that a better suit would make him a better treasurer, I simply think any change of suit would not improve this financial marvel.
We have what we have, have to live with it and hope not too much damage will be done over the next couple of years.
