Hi all - my first post on here. Worldwide Twitter activity maps show sparse activity in the DRC, so the truth may reach only a few. Who else close to Felix is vested in the prosperity of their people, and would benefit from exposure to the truth about what's going on? I find the bar chart with Zijin on the far end of human rights abuse to be particularly engaging, for example. The DRC is at a fork in the road, and the few who can influence this need to understand well where each road will take them, right up to and including Felix.I'd like to make one suggestion, if I may, to all the lurkers in here. And I know there are many because I'm often quite tickled by the amount of love and likes some of my posts get from members who never say a word. Which is perfectly fine by the way.
But given the amount of you, I reckon it would be great if you could all spend a few minutes creating a twitter account and then going on and following people like @JAG and myself @Spikerama and anyone else you know in here that have revealed their twitter handle and then like the living shit out of everything they post in relation to AVZ.
From there you can see other like minded twitter users who you can also follow and like their stuff. You don't even have to say anything. Just like it up. Because one thing I know about social is we need more than just a few likes to get any real traction. We need hundreds, if not thousands. So every little heart counts at this point.
And I'm sure there are quite a few of you silent ones who have already done just that and are fighting the good fight with sore thumbs but I urge the rest who haven't yet, to enlist and join the fight.

Hi obe, I believe this is in your area of expertise. Every now an then I look up something different about our company and I was thinking about those shorting aseholes who quietly lurk here in the background and then I thought I would have another look at our top 20 holders.
What I noticed is that since June last year, Yibin have managed to add 14 million shares to their total; HSBC Custody Nominees (AUSTRALIA) LTD have added 26 million shares to their total; CITICORP Nominees have sold off 25 million; and if Craig Allan Doran is @Deboss, it looks like his brother has joined the top 20 with 15 million shares.... Little bit of bait added there to see if the Boss actually has a nibbleOr is the Boss really Stephen Earl?!
Any thoughts on this relatively quiet day regarding the trading obe?

Feels like the mood has changed here significantly more optimistic overall. Even if no one has clear understanding of where we are.
I stated previously I thought that the cost of doing business in the DRC was a minority ownership by zinjin. If you use AVZ as an example it looks like when a significant deposit was discovered, zinjin would just come in last minute with the brown paper and comi would accept.
Standard practice and way of doing business for way to long.

It's been previously stated over a year ago that Felix was revisting all mining agreements and now we are hearing news of the DRC wanting a further 1.3 billion from China for these agreements.
The USA
is now using the United nations charter to fight corruption in the DRC. They would not be able to do this without an invite from the DRC. in my opinion that is.
I still believe that it was AVZ that did not want to progress to production with zinjin as a minority partner.

I do hope that the AVZ /Zinjin case is being used as an example of how the business climate is changing and that the drc is making moves to stamp out corruption of this type.

Liverpool used to score at the bottom of all the life measures regarding things like income, life expectancy, educational achievement, crime etc.
Glad to say it's improved massively.
One thing I learned is that these crims take loss of assets and jail time as occupational hazards.
Anything else, such as public exposure, will be irrelevant to them.
No embarrassment.
Just look at the number of 'reformed' crims writing books and presenting TV programmes whilst playing the tough guy for proof of that.
I would like to see these scum exposed though because it may harden public opinion in DRC against them and make similar activity in the future more difficult.
DRC could even grow some balls and recover assets or rewrite contracts.
Maybe there will also be repercussions in China, but I doubt it.

HSBC and BNP had nominee accounts, these have now been combined under 1 of each which has opened up a couple of spaces for Guo and Doran to move up, so they haven't bought any shares during suspension , just a couple of spaces opened up in the T20 and they got promoted from the pleb division ,as Tommy would call it .
Yibin have increased....doesn't make much difference to their holding %...They are part of CATL ... any guesses?
CITI.....25m.. pretty well known to like to deal in short positions....did they have short positions returned between May of 22 and now...who knows..
HSBC...25m.. i wouldn't have a clue, but all 'retail if you like remained constant...funds shifted...i assume that some of these guys would potentially have wider avenues to transfer shares than retail ; so ETFs, other funds may be able to carry out some sort of transfers in suspension.
Shorters, i cant see those being able to be shifted apart for the likes of CITI which may have had sort positions covered and passed back to them in may / june. I mean shorts would want to close with the SP as little as possible and others would want to buy for as little as possible, so you can see why trading shorts in suspension (without competitive market) would be illegal
in short..who the fuck knows
