Patriot Battery Metals hasn't done anything yet. Anyone think it could?
ASX.PMT
Hi again Sangster

, a quick disclaimer that i am invested in PMT. Here's my thoughts. The PMT deposit is another monster like Manono. The defined resource already is significant but my expectation is that in the coming years it will grow to be one of the largest globally behind Manono.
The Canadian government is looking to supply Chinese supply chains as a result of tension with the US. But my opinion is that overtime tensions will settle and Canadian lithium will be used significantly in US supply chains.
Ive always thought that due to the projects quality its a likely acquisition target and to be honest thats why i have targeted it.
I am actually surprised one of the larger players hasn't taken it out while the commodity prices have been down.
Depending on where we get to with this cycle as has been mentioned by Skar, we might expect a rising tide to float all boats PMT would be a candidate here.
Something to consider thats always in the back of my mind is, how might a project like Manono effect the market in the mid to long term. Remember years ago talking about 10 t/pa and the like? Obviously this takes a while to happen. But many analysts don't even account for Manono in supply projections. And if theyre not accounting for that then what else arent they doing? In this scenario the cost of production is very important. As I mentioned though imo that isnt a problem for owning pmt right now, as it will eventually be acquired and will be a problem for a big fish to worry about. All very speculative and my opinion only.
