I welcome this announcement BUT......isn't it an indication that the move initiated by SH to an IP only model was always flawed? The statements about deployment of hardware perhaps leading to IP licences from customers smacks, in my view, of an arse covering exercise. Happy to be proved wrong and will be even happier when (if) the customers for the hardware are announced. Sorry to appear cynical but after holding BRN since 2016 I've seen a few "false starts".
