Morning rgupta,

The LDA funding model is quite simple. When the company knows it has a couple of months of good news to release that may maintain or even elevate the SP, they make a call on LDA to take advantage of that news flow. The company raises money at a decent price, shareholders aren't diluted as badly as they otherwise would be and LDA get their 8.5% cut.

Everyone is happy.

Or.........

I suppose you could make the call while releasing a bunch of announcements that crash the SP by 30% or more. Keep your mouth shut until the call is over and then start releasing some good news. Sure, you wont raise as much money, shareholders are more heavily diluted and LDA will be pissed because they work on commission.
I got you we. are the or case.
But I don't think LDA is unhappy coz shares were allocated 2 months ago to them

I’ve got a really good feeling today that we won’t get any price sensitive announcement. Have a great day 👍
Thanks Pom!
The market has acted accordingly.
Please keep us updated about how are feeling each day.

Who needs Tony when you have good old Pom.

Hi ILL,

This is a job for an experienced software engineer.

Interesting they are asking for experience in writing government grant proposals (SBIR?).

This is possibly for development of TENNs ongoing (groundbreaking) development at the extreme edge.

"State space models" = TENNs.

"developing novel ML architectures" - currently TENNs uses backpropagation (BP), and Akida uses feedforward learning. Perhaps BP is slower (latency) and more complex (more operations = more power usage).

"C/C++" is a bonus. C++ is a widely used language, so this could potentially expand the customer base.

Had anyone idea what product Merc is using for their keyword spotting in new MBOS.
Because three years ago they told the market akida is 10 times better than any other technology at that time for keyword spotting. Are they going to use some inferior product ?or they are going to use us ?or there is better option available than akida now?

g'day rgupta,

Shares can only be traded in the stated times as per the ASX announcement.

Imagine you are LDA. You renegotiate your longstanding, existing deal with BRN in late December. (yes, only months after they cheated on you with someone else). The SP is around 40 cents. BRN want to raise $20M and give you 40,000,000 shares to achieve that goal. Not hard!!! With some good news the SP will be north of 50 cents.

BRN will meet their obligation to LDA, Share holders will be happy and.....

LDA only had to man the trading desks for 2 months to earn their commission.

Nope,

As LDA, you lose time as BRN keep doing piss poor raises at smaller prices. You need to keep manning the trading desk over longer periods just to raise the $20M they agreed to. Shit for you, shit for shareholders.......

But there must be a win for someone........otherwise this makes no sense.

I assume in the real world it should be like that. But on the other hand as a financial institution you are only worried about your profits. Now with every contract there are some side adjustments, like from day one there is no announcement during LDA sell off, that can be by chance and can also be part of deal. 40 million is approximately 2% of equity.
Now look at the deal LDA with help Brianchip raise a certain amount of money. There will be no loan but an arrangement where LDA will sell shares, keep their profits and provide the rest of money to brainchip.
So in the same capital raise there is no condition what will be the minimum sp or maximum sp. So to make sure company is floatable up to that much raise mean they can manipulate the sp as well.
So if they are allowed to manipulate then what they will do?

I don't follow.....

LDA only get a fixed amount on the money they raise. They are working on a commission.

If they sell 40 million shares at 20 cents they get 8.5%
If they sell 40 million shares at 1 dollar they get 8.5%

You do the math on that!

The thing about the Sony/Prophesee partnership is that Sony has a 3D chip-making process.

"So what?" I hear you ask.

Well the pre-Sony Prophesee pixels had a light detecting surface and pixel signal control transistors, which set the spike firing threshold level, on a single plain, say 50% photosensor and 50% control transistors.

The Sony 3D tech allows the top surface to be built on top of a buried layer which contains the control transistors, the top layer being used for the photosensors, ie, virtually the whole of the top layer is devoted to pixel photosensors. The larger the surface area of the photosensor, the more light sensitive it is. So, for the same surface area, you get about double the number of pixels of the same sensitivity as before. Or you can have larger pixels for greater sensitivity.

Now I don't know if the Sony 3D tech would stretch to another layer with Akida, but it would be good if it did.

As we already know there is a joint product being the cupcake server with partner Unigen.

"In leveraging Akida’s data-processing capabilities, the device offers unparalleled efficiency, precision, and economy of energy in a wide array of use cases such as industrial, automotive, healthcare, robotics, IoT and security-based applications, according to BrainChip."

We also know Ai.Labs is obviously a BRN partner and just implemented a predictive maintenance set up as just discovered by @Gazzafish

Unigen and Ai Labs are also partners so I'm curious whether it's possible for them to be using the cupcake from Unigen in conjunction with Minksy Engine to process the sensor data on the predictive maintenance?
