And the first advert when y click on the link is ………RAWBANK 🤦🏻🤦🏻

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) holds a significant share of the global lithium reserve, a key element in the transition to a green economy. However, an ambitious extraction project, located in Manono, is caught in a legal and ethical imbroglio that raises many questions about the management of the country's natural resources.

Three companies initially formed a joint venture to develop this project: the Australian AVZ Minerals, the Cominière, representing the Congolese state, and Datomir. Despite the expert reports that emphasise the viability and importance of this project, tensions quickly emerged between the partners. AVZ's partners expressed the need to renegotiate the terms of the agreement in order to ensure fair profit sharing. However, this request was rejected by AVZ, creating a climate of distrust and discord.

The situation worsened when Datomir challenged the initially agreed 15% payment. This impasse led to a lawsuit, brought before the Kinshasa Commercial Court. Pending the settlement of the dispute, an escrow account of US$20 million was established at the request of AVZ, thus guaranteeing some financial security for the project.

The involvement of the Congolese authorities, including that of the President of the Republic, was requested to facilitate the conciliation of the parties. However, worrying allegations have emerged: withdrawals would have been made from the $20 million in the escrow account, funds that would have been used by AVZ to bribe those responsible in order to gain the advantage in this case.

Articles like these are normally a good indication that good news is coming. 🤣

Zijin wouldn't pay to get this crap printed, if it is all smooth sailing.

I would say Zijin's clacker is starting to twitch a touch, because of low incoming pine apples launched by Xi.

Whales,

I dont think a miracle will be required and certainly not the second coming thats for sure.

Its amazing what the US Treasury can achieve at the push of a button and also what the ICSID/ICC can do.

No miracle is required if Felix wants to keep what he has in overseas banks. Its called self-interest/preservation.

Regards,

SilentOne
I hope you are right in What the ICSID and ICC can do .?
But I do not think it has the ability to retrieve or freeze funds / assets belonging to Felix .
He ultimately is responsible in the decision of a mining licence.
Unless he can be held accountable and face imprisonment or loss of power ?
What will it take for him to do what is right for his country ? and follow the mining code.

"Most important now is CATH provides a major criteria in DATHCOM receiving a mining license .
Whether it is only for Roche Dure or Zijin pay a fair price for Carrier ??
Very positive for AVZ and its shareholders. .
Now when will a mining license be granted before court arbitratration ?" whales 9/01/2025

It is my belief that as a shareholder I have the responsibility to speak up and ensure that injustices against the company I have supported financially and the local people I have vocally spoken up in support of to see them grow are realised.

We must as a group be vocal, educated and loud - that is the only way that we will be heard over the drowning out of 1.411 billion people looking to occupy the world.
