BRN Discussion Ongoing

nothing wrong with the tech.................... it's just taking too long to get there...........isn't it? As I recall it's been the best part of 5 years that past & the management hasn't been able to bring decent revenue, but why complain the RSU are being issued for what?
How long is it supposed to take Dolci?
Which company are you using as a template to compare BrainChip's progress against?

Its all my fault.
Just a drive by from Dolci.
Dolci dropped in because she got the craps as i accused him/her and other saturation downrampers over on the crapper of being silently/secretly bullish on BRN.
All i said was that downramping posts with a purpose of buying in lower, ie going long was bullish.
Lets face buying to sell higher is by definition bullish. No two ways about that.
So the downramping behavior is a charade hiding a 'closet' bull.
If you were a committed bear you never buy.
Of course it did not go down well.

I am only stating what was said in the past by the management, & an explosion of revenue is coming from the founder........lol isn't that when you start to think that things will happen?

just wanted to see if you lot relised that the BUS has a flat tyre ....LOL:unsure:
Hi Dolci,

Maybe not so much a flat tyre, more like bogged in the mud. Lots of noise and engine revving coming from Steve Brightfield and the PR team in the last few months, followed by a hint of traction by the sales team. Need more to be pulled from the mire but it's a start.

But Dolci, you're making very good money trading it aren't you.
Your charts are telling you when to buy and sell on the rises and falls.
And your sentiment changes noticeably to negative when you have sold and are hoping/expecting the price to fall so you can buy in again at a lower price.
Then you only express positives when you hope/expect the price to rise so you can sell at a higher price.
Surely BRN is a dream stock for you to trade.
Beyond the flexible narrative you require to back your trading positions, what do you care about the success or not of the company?

True dat Hoppy! I clearly remember Dolci making pronouncements over there on the Crapper a few weeks ago about how BrainChip was on the up and up. I'd describe it as their sentiment changing a hell of a lot more frequently than their underpants.🩲

Foresight into security: i-PRO predicts 2025 trends

Today

By Imee Dequito, Editor

As the physical security industry gears up for 2025, i-PRO has outlined four significant trends expected to influence approaches to security that year.
The company, known previously as Panasonic Security, has emphasised the roles of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud expansion, edge processing, and data integration in transforming security solutions.
Edge AI technology is forecasted to play a crucial role. With AI-based analytics being processed locally, security systems are transitioning from reactive operations to proactive and preventative measures. This facilitates better safety and operational efficiency by preemptively addressing potential incidents. "Moving away from the 'one-size-fits-all' model, video cameras with AI on-site learning enable customized functionality that caters to the unique needs of every organization," said Hideo Noguchi, Chief Technology Officer at i-PRO. "By learning objects and characteristics on-site, distinct events can be tracked and analyzed, further enhancing security and operational intelligence."
Data integration is highlighted as another vital area. Security systems are expected to evolve beyond stand-alone solutions and present a seamless flow of data across different devices and platforms. While AI will assist by summarising and contextualising this data, human decision-makers are anticipated to remain central in interpreting these insights. Gerard Figols, Chief Product Officer of i-PRO, commented, "Data integration will also be pivotal. Security systems must go beyond isolated solutions to provide a seamless flow of information between devices and platforms. Visualization tools will ensure that data is presented in an intuitive manner, empowering operators to make informed decisions quickly. It will be more important than ever to match these powerful edge computing devices with a compatible VMS to interpret the wealth of data available."
There is also a discussion about the balance between cloud and edge computing. While cloud computing provides scalability and flexibility, its costs and latency issues are bringing edge computing into sharper focus. Processing data locally at the camera level reduces dependence on cloud infrastructure, enhancing response times and accuracy by eliminating compression losses.
Emerging advancements in chipsets, particularly those from Ambarella, are anticipated to unlock generative AI capabilities on the edge, which could lead to customised and decentralised AI applications. This will further enable systems to anticipate and simulate potential threats effectively. It is expected to make previously cloud-dependent functions possible on lower-power systems, which can enhance security and cost-effectiveness.
The path forward involves prioritising ethical AI and robust cybersecurity measures, according to i-PRO. They are committed to ensuring that AI applications are privacy-respecting and align with the core values of their customers. The emphasis on open platforms is intended to allow integrators to build cooperative, customisable ecosystems that adhere to high standards of data integrity and cybersecurity.

I think you will find that the timing will be in your favour, as dont expect anything that will move this in the right direction for now, as it is drifting south, optimists keep buying thinking this is the bottom but I think otherwise, someone will pull the rug out at some stage
...
Seriously dolci, go back to the crapper. You suit it there.

So we won the below contract with a subcontractor yet to be officially named.

Mapping Complex Sensor Signal Processing Algorithms onto Neuromorphic Chips

I see our friends at Bascom Hunter were at the US Navy Sea Air Space event earlier last year.

Gee....their demo title is quite familiar....I wonder if this was the initial POC to enable a direct to Ph II.

We also know they just released their Snap Card too.

Not saying they are the subcontractor, could be, but could also be someone like RTX as we're thinking.

It looks like ISL and RTX are involved to me?

Dot joining. Was trying to find the AFRL Neuromorphic RFQ and somewhat led me into a rabbit hole.

Spotted testing some random pod attached to an F-15D. F-15D and F/A 18 are the preferred due to their ability to carry large and heavy loads

The pod is assumed to be ATIMS III which is Airborne Turret Infrared Measurement System III. The pod’s sensor turret can hold up to four different infrared seeker types at once. The system is also equipped with one middle wavelength infrared (MWIR) imager and three visual spectrum video cameras, as well as a laser rangefinder. This allows to collect a multitude of data from multiple sensors at the same time.

Maybe you’re just impatient? How on earth do you know an explosion of revenue isn’t coming? I don’t remember a timeframe was put out there.

Explosion of revenue was imminent at that stage..then we got bogged, then a tyre popped. We had to reinvent the wheel change the tyre.
It turned out the spare was flat. We are now pumping it. Stay tune, we are about to get there lads! Just a few hiccups, fingers crossed the driver knows how to get us there.

...they keep telling me that I work in mysterious ways;), but I have my reasons as others can't accept them, all they see is that the string never ends when in hype, so when I make the call that things have gone too far, I wonder some times what is their objective for them? for me is buy low & sell high ...........so be it every man and woman for themselves in that case ...always happy to take profits & enjoy spending them......;)
Does that mean you still want to buy my akida plates? 😁

In case anyone has forgotten, over the past five years we also had that little thing called the worldwide pandemic which basically threw a huge monkey wrench into the mix sowing uncertainty, doubt, supply chain contortions, fiscal pumping, deaths in the hundreds of thousands, shutdowns, lockdowns, global semi conductor shortages, and widespread social instability.

Add to that the fall and rise of the Donald, war again in Europe, the establishment and dismantling of a Caliphate in the Middle East, the resurrection of the Right in various parts of the world and the ever increasing frequency of flood, fire, earthquakes and unseasonal heatwaves and cold snaps.

On a more mundane and local level we’ve also had the entire focus and direction of the Company changed by a new CEO with a completely revised go to market strategy implemented and recently showing early signs of bearing fruit along with several major staff changes including the retirement of the two founding and instigating members of the company.

We’ve also ridden the wave of the MB announcement which catapulted the share price to dizzying and unsustainable highs leading to our premature inclusion in the ASX200 which painted a target on our back and led to a two year gruelling mauling by the shorting wolves backed by seemingly unending capital reserves. Similar fates have befallen WBT and IMU and it appears to be a well worn path to riches for those looking to short pre revenue companies still reliant on CR’s and other funding schemes.
