Well I suppose it's totally inconsequential that Alf Kuchenbuch likes Georges Massing's LinkedIn post on Mercedes DRIVE PILOT winning “The Golden Steering Wheel 2024“ award. Alf must have accidentally pressed the "clapping hands" button. He is a pretty tall bloke afterall and he probably has pretty big fingers. And Georges Massing probably said to himself "Who is this guy Alf and why is he congratulating me for my post about DRIVE PILOT? I don't know him from a bar of soap." Oh well. Going back to bed now.

Are we going to get any market update during the next 12 months on the progress of this work for Airforce Research? If yes, then I can see the SP will start to recover.
My concern is that there will be no further updates (NDA blah blah blah) even after February 2026 and then we are back to where we are now.
We could press for more regular updates, or at least, some hints at the next AGM.

Why a lack of buyers?
Doesn't look like the shorters are in any rush to cover atm.

US NASDAQ & DOW was down yesterday. This has affected the buyer's sentiment.

Taking advantage of the above, I am guessing the shorters have probably added more short positions today in order to manipulate the share price so they can exit at a better price later.

An analogy is that the shorters are seeing the rain has stopped and the wood is starting to ignite, so they are trying to pour plenty of cold water into the wood before the fire spreads to the whole forest. The shorters don't want their asses to be burned for sure

We shall know once the aggregated short positions come out in ASIC's website a few days later.
Currently, ASIC's aggregated short data is released up to 5 Dec 2024.

It seems like people have become more cautious after years of this up-and-down game. What we need is one more significant announcement to really get things rolling again. It’s frustrating to see a positive development fall into the hands of short sellers—I can’t stand them. And don’t even get me started on the SEC. They file lawsuits against projects like XRP under the pretense of protecting investors, yet in cases like here…, they sit back and watch. Hypocritical.
Sure, they’re only responsible for the U.S., but they could set the wheels in motion for the rest of the world to follow. Instead, they just sit back—or worse, play the game themselves. Money rules the world.

News of the Contract, probably hadn’t hit their desk, or has not been read, they are pretty slow over there.

ISL didn’t make my subcontractor shortlist, as they don’t fall into the category of being “a multinational aerospace and defense customer”…

My take is different to yours though.
I believe ISL are/will be the subcontractor.
