We are all different. I’m preparing myself for an announcement this coming week.
I think its better to have little expectations in life because nothing is certain. That way your less inclined to be disappointed and upset. Good for mental Health.

Can we postpone on the announcement for a little bit longer as I’m still accumulating and close to my target amount of shares I want to hold. 😆

The only certainty is to buy and hold, the probability is announcements are very soon. The reality is we hold first division the mega lotto jackpot and need to wait before cashing in.

I don't have the money to buy the amount of shares I want to buy.

Like I said, we are all different. Not sure why you have posted the Elon Musk thing. What were the probabilities of colonising mars when he first came up with the idea.

I'm just preparing myself for it and I don't see it as a bad thing. We all suspect that progress/deals are being made in the background and the bigger those deals are the more protected by NDA's they will be, by necessity. So by that measure the less we hear the better? I am impatient though and want to see the share price rise exponentially - sort of have my early retirement hanging in it🤞but our window into progress could be through mandatory reporting of revenue rather than the result of confidentiality breaches or by companies willing to forego their competitive advantage. Totally my take on it tho....and I'm the one who buys shares only to watch them drop in price......every.....single.....time 😂
When I was working as a financial advisor I would tell my clients to expect the share price to go down just after they entered the market. With that expectation they never panicked when indeed the share price did go down, and their confidence in me as an advisor would rise when in the long term they produced good results as was mostly the case with the good quality investments that I recommended.

With Brainchip we have an amazing company of the highest quality in product, personnel and outlook. My confidence could not be higher. Over the last month with the decline in share price I have taken the opportunity to sell down some of my other investments in order to increase my already considerable investment in Brainchip by a further 300,000 shares. I could not be happier. The opportunity is not to be missed.

P.S. This is NOT financial advice. I am not a financial advisor and have been fully retired for a number of years. Do your own research and seek professional advice if required. GLTAH

Do you? What real response are you after? Some things never change even if the platform does.
Just your thoughts on Dell,me personally Yes, why would you have Dell on a podcast

Slowly working my way through this (756 pages) report. I think it provides a good overview, if somewhat skewed with an American bias, of just where AI is, was, and maybe headed. It is such a broad subject and it is so easy to get lost in the detail of what we are doing and trying to do. They freely acknowledge that they cannot predict exactly where this road will lead us nor what developments may come, but I did like their use of an analogy with the way Edison described the ongoing possibilities in regard to the then recently controlled uses of electricity...........

'However, what Thomas Edison said of electricity encapsulates the AI future: “It is a field of fields ... it holds the secrets which will reorganize the life of the world.” Edison’s astounding assessment came from humility. All that he discovered was “very little in comparison with the possibilities that appear.”'

A few further snippets that could have been printed straight from the Brainchip website................

'Edge Computing. Breaking size, weight, and power barriers also increases the ubiquity of AI and aids privacy protection. Companies are working to pack more computational power into tighter, specialized chips that use less energy to train and run the same models. Such chips allow consumer devices to run complex models locally, rather than transmit data externally and wait for models to run remotely. Retaining data entirely on the device where a model is being trained or run is an advancement that could potentially enhance individual privacy in AI-powered systems.'

And also...............

The Department must act
now to integrate AI into critical functions, existing systems, exercises and wargames to become an AI-ready force by 2025.”

They are in a hurry, and advocating spending big (8 Billion p.a. ongoing) to try and catch up and reign in a perceived gap behind China and in some areas Russia.

Also check out this table below, (page 85) particularly the Intelligent Edge Devices, Computing and Networking tab.............:)

In their long term time horizon they are asking for.............. Autonomous edge devices that dynamically learn, share, and team with other devices, while exercising intelligent data collection, exploitation, and retention, mastery of domain-specific physical manipulation.

Not quite sure what all that means but a good deal of it sounds somewhat familiar to me, and it's interesting to note the key challenges that they note relate to............................ Network limitation; size, weight, and power (SWaP)...................:)
Will keep reading.....:)

One good thing is they can start breadboarding implementations using ADE/MetaTF (the siliconless Akida) yesterday.

These are the top 10 most valuable electronic and appliances in 2022. Lets hope that BRN will be engaging and associated with as per research and dot joining in at least one or two brands of these like Samsung, Dell or LG!!

My thoughts;... woo hoo AKIDA Ballista! Who coined that phrase?
As if long term investors that bough in sub 20c didn't cash in, seriously if you had a decent size parcel and your account went to millions of dollars, you d have rocks in your head not to sell some and reap the rewards of your belief in BRN.
I remember a post where some guy said he talked his wife into using their savings for a deposit for a house to invest in brainchip.instead, possibly 2018/2019.... da da ! House paid for now..... 🤗
Some might have borrowed to buy..ta da! 🤗
Retail nothing to do with fundamentals, just rewarding themselves, and I'm sure the still have a slice of the pie but living life somewhat more comfortably.
Instos gobbled up a lot of those shares imo, who else could afford to buy up in the tens of millions?
Now they're playing with those marbles, lol you own most of then marbles you can bring out the Tom thumbs and smash shit up however you want. Its a game now imo.
Fundamentals haven't changed, never has, it's just got better for BRN.
Now if we bring in world politics that's a differrent story. How does that affect roll out and $$$ coming in?
It all depends on consumers yes? Remember this is not an 👁 phone.. yet.
🤔🧐🤔🧐🤔🧐🤔🧐🤔
Hi alfie
Ive got a quite a few shares with a average price just under 20 cents, which ticked over the magical number you mentioned and I have not sold a single share........
I don't think I have rocks in my head
I believe that brainchips akida will be EXTREMLY BENEFICIAL TO MAKING EVERYBODYS LIFE EASIER in the future due to the multitude (and magnitude) of applications it can be incorporated and used in....

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
I dance like this even though my podiatrist doesn't recommend it on account of the possibility that it could make my bunions worse.

I have been in the Brainchip stock now a few years. I have become comfortable with the investment. I feel like I understand the tech well enough thanks to my time here and formerly on HC, and their educational web site. I get the huge opportunities ahead for Brainchip and for us as investors.

That said, yesteday I gave another person my elevator speech on this exciting opportunity. I was crisp, clear, confident and succinct. I explained that intellectual property sales was what Brainchip really desired. Then the person I was talking to said, "how does the intellectual property thing work?" So, I explained,....well if a customer is going to want more than a million + chips they are recommended to enter into an IP contract with Brainchip". I talked about revenue expected from such deals, ...engineering support fees, the per chip revenue, the IP up front costs, and so on.

But then I added that one of our contracts is with Megachips, a fabless chip manufacturer in Japan who designs chips for others. The other person seemed confused, and said, "but how does the IP work with them? Does Brainchip make their design? Or does Brainchip license the technology to Megachips and how does that work....?" I suddenly realized I was in over my head and couldn't actually describe what and how the IP arrangement actually worked. I thought I understood IP sales, but realized that I couldn't explain it to this person with enough clarity that she would understand.

I realized that I didn't understand it well enough either. And so I will reach out to you folks and hope one or more of you can explain the IP contract sale and how it actually works. Without details of the Renesas or Megachips contract specifics, what is Brainchip doing when they enter one of these deals?

Is Brainchip (or Taiwan Semi) actually making the chips? Are they selling consulting service(s)? Have they licensed their secret sauce?

I would like a intellectual property sale "basics" explaination for dummies, if you will. To quote my friend, "how does the intellectual property thing work?", in a way that next time I will have the confidence and understanding to answer such a question In plain English, please.
