Just wondering what other hobbies people have. Mines playing football (soccer) gardening, fishing, drinking and cooking with the last probably my favourite as I just spent the morning cooking my favourite food which is Indian. Just cooked Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Ceylon, Garlic Chilli Chicken and Chicken Korma from scratch only because all the Indian restaurants in Australia can’t cook a decent curry. I also like cooking Chinese, Mexican and Italian food.

Gday Rocket577,
Retired now, used to be at Sea running LNG to Japan, now my two hobbies are Watercolour Painting, and breeding finches, walking, and the odd bit of travelling. In beautiful Tassie now

Paul Christie (Mondo Rock) has played one of mine.......
Did he play it at the Myponga Pop festival outside of Adelaide in 1971 when they were Daddy Cool . If he did I heard him playing it .They we’re an immediate hit . Wendy Saddington failed to turn up and Black Sabbath got frightened because of the torrential rain and left shortly after arrival , but Daddy Cool played for the 3 days .

Here are some photo's (during construction & finished) of a tv stand/cabinet and a coffee table that I built a few years back. I also made a matching side table, but don't have a photo of that.

Wife bought a crystal a while ago, and she wanted it to look like how it was in the display in the shop, all illuminated with a a mild glow. So, i ended up cutting off a branch from my grandfathers plum tree and with a lot of mucking around I managed to put something together that she liked :)

(I've made provision for an AKIDA chip in the base)

Wow @JK220SX that's impressive. Here's some of the creations I've made for fun over the years.

Surfing, making surfboards and putting my weird art on them is how I love spending my free time. When Brainchip takes off Ill have a lot more time thats free to tinker and play. Some boards made entirely from wood, others the more regular way with foam.

No, PC was playing bass in the Kevin Borich Express around that time. He joined up with Ross Wilson when he formed Mondo Rock in the early 1980's.

I took things from hobby to emerging contemporary artist creating industrial-pop work. Below a sliced rock reconstructed on steel plate and ball bearing swivels.
