NEWSPLUS 0516 GMT – Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 closed 0.4% lower at 7504.1, paring weekly gains following a weak lead from U.S. equities. Within 90 minutes of Thursday’s open, the benchmark index had fallen 50 points, recovered its losses and swiftly slumped again.
