I have another stock and they were the same. Good results and more coming , good presentations and the share price is really moving.
Hopefully the new CEO will really drive this company. Time will tell though.

Lets hope so Electro, I waited 3 years hearing the same stuff all the time with Pete at the wheel, the best in the business we were told great discovery history, skin in the game blah blah blah. I wasn't happy learning the company requires 6 months employment termination notice whilst ironically the plans went completely off the rails for 6 months and drilling was minimal with no explanation from the board then they whack across to a known gold mine for glistening results and announce Pete's departure, of course there is going to be something there to restore some credibility. I think they had been saving this for times of need. As it had come at enormous opportunity loss for me with a fairly big investment that I should have, could have, had working for me elsewhere I got out about mid teens when I saw it heading sub 10 cents. Whilst I admire the landholding I am watching from the sideline while my money is working for me elsewhere like it should. I have a pile of uncommitted coin aside should I decide on a re-entry... Mag is a great story lets hope it becomes more than just that...

Markets are a bit jittery so i don't blame you. It was amazing looking at the conference with the amount of companies advancing their projects in a big way. Some are a lot more active than others.
Hopefully MAG can get into the category of very active under the new manager.

Yeah nice jump today, nice volume yesterday... news mustn't be too far away... I'm sad there's no coin for me to have loaded up big time whilst below 10cents.

Silvermarc like myself was very badly trolled over on the HC MAG thread. Good to see only the quality is filtering through here.
Very interesting ASX query at 6.58 PM today re price movements. We have speculated, we are guessing as the MAG Co Sec has no inkling and the Lab are not the likely culprits then it could be ALK directors ramping up their voting rights. If the cat got out of the bag it was ALK called the landholders meeting and made offers on all the MAG tenement landowners then it is likely they may also be after a low Market Cap stock as well so they can hold all ground in the near vicinity of the ALK Tier 1 Boda announcement last week and another 11,000 metres of drilling planned at Boda on top of the 60,000 metres done recently.
They mean business by the looks and are our major suspect at present?
MAG opening tomorrow will be VERY INTERESTING, if they are not suspended.
Hey Scumbo, I bought at 9.3c from memory a month or two ago when I saw the drill rig was perched on Bligh Street for far too long and in a recent ann they stated they sunk 4 holes there where only one was planned at Bligh Street and I saw a lot more shallow holes across the road last Friday and a few more pegs to go nearer to Bligh Street. A lot of activity in an area about the size of about 10 footy fields that only had one or two holes in the original plan mapped out?
If ALK obtained the MAG ground freehold and mounted a takeover or an offer for MAG, they still have the prospects of two smaller shallow open cut prospects at Bodangora.
All purely speculation and guesswork of course but seems logical.
Tomorrow and the coming months will be interesting.

I went a bit earlier around 9.3 from memory, up around 40% after today and hoping tomorrow morning brings some more decent action.
The recent acquisition lowered my average a lot and was logged in for a lower price too but it didn't dip much from that level.
Be very interesting to see what has triggered the price action the last two days and if it continues into this week.
Yeah thanks mate... I read the AlK Boda release today, it looks good, and their company and bod are smart.... another sad investment decision of mine I was in ALk since 2014 (or less , I can't remember) did checks on BoD and was going to follow smart $ AKA follow Ian G (just one of my markers) anyhow I, got impatient and cashed out a month OR two before ASM demerger... lost out big time... anyhow I believe in both ALK and MAGs land holdings and will keep following both, but hope MAG can make up for my DH tendencies.
I won't comment on your ASM strategy as I got into ALK purely for the ASM play.
Very little activity on MAG today after a flurry of unusual buying activity over two days. Wondering if someone knew something the board at MAG and we didn't know so we had to revert to our own misguided speculation without any factual basis to rely on and the recent buyers were spooked by the ASX query on price movement? One wonders? Gold shot up markedly today so it was the unlikely catalyst for the last two days.

Ouch, that sucks...I bought up ALK with quite a bundle prior to the de-merger specifically for the entitlement shares then sold off my ALK . I have done this with a few de-mergers for the freehold it keeps in my portfolio which helps balance my holdings and overall I don't see red days. ASM is by far my better freehold of them all. I am happy to keep them brewing away in my bottom drawer for years. GB also sold off his ASM not being able to put a price on them at the time from memory. They will be handy for me one-day...

To me it looks like they had been trying to accumulate below 10 cents for quite sometime and new they would have to move it up a bit to loosen a few more hands.
It’s not an easy stock to accumulate a large position if you want in.

It is interesting as there is only a small amount of stock free floating. At the moment there seems to be plenty but i think it is part of the accumulation tactics and they appear to be moving them around as soon as there is buying interest..
Yeah. I refrained from tormenting Scumbo too much. ASM have been good but better days to come yet. Is taking a while to get off the ground so to speak. Subject of getting off the ground, my Friday drive saw some new drilling 200 yards from the old Dick's Reward entrance with MAG active again. Sure hope something positive comes out of all this recent activity.
