If Musk truly is interested in buying Mercedes, then can we join a few dots and suggest the possibility of Musk solving his bandwidth and cloud data transfer woes by snapping up Mercedes and along with it Akida's edge based technology breakthrough?

You'd have to bet that Brainchip tech is on the Tesla Radar some way or another.
Todays SP spike on big volume seems to herald a change on the last months diminishing volumes.

Personally I really doubt Mercedes will kneel unless they're in financial trouble. Yes Tesla have huge MC but Mercedes got larger "asset" overall not only is their experience in automotive way superior they also have Formula 1 and Formula E team that does both R&D and competition and I believe in many eyes they are worth way more than what's on the book.

But but.. Nothing is impossible it would be interesting if Merc's automotive exp collaborate/merge with Tesla's behind the scenes space tech exp.

however it wasn't "claimed" that he was interested in buying mercedes, it was "claimed" he was interested in buying Daimler, which not only owns mercedes, but a whole lot MORE.

At 5min the use of gestures to close the door is ONE of the additional functionalities yet to be revealed to us by Mercedes.

So we have voice recognition and arm gestures proven to be in play so far.....

Do you think that the German government will allow a huge traditional chunk of their automotive and research industry slowly transfer to China . .I don’t think so .But Germany has become reliant on Russia and they are becoming more attached with China .Very interesting.

No, not .... only I don't believe in it, there are too many heads who still want to have a say, governments, antitrust authorities, ect. etc.

I don't see any incentives for German govt to allow it unless they manage to degenerate themselves to the lowest. Giving up Mercedes is like giving up your historic achievements, fame, dignity and the advantages you have for low quick bucks.

Btw Volvo is looking to buy itself back form Geely.
