Here is another German: Never ever will Mercedes in the (near) future be sold.

I just wrote a whole lot of arguments why I come to this Statement and just deletet all of them.

Do your own research, why Mercedes with its history in evolutining cars, their racing history or their connectivity to the German government is more worth than even Elon could offer...

Greets from southern Bavaria ...
Hi Krustor
I’m your neighbour from Holland but feel the same way as you about Mercedes.

Came across this and just to be clear, NO mention of BRN in this video. I think Tony Dawe might want to see this and set this guy straight.

Intel and Loihi 2 are highlighted (presenter thinks you can buy one)
One shot learning will be a possibility in the future?? (15.55)

I would say that Dr know it all, knows f**k all! Lol

😂 Lol , Yeah Dr Know It All also gives the convenient preface -‘ I just want to make it very clear that I’m not an expert in this at all ‘

But to be fair Dr Know it all does know how to look up Wikipedia

Elon has realized that the Tesla has reached its limitation compared to Mercedes EQXX, the American philosophy 'If we can't do it, we buy it' coming up again?

Do you think that the German government will allow a huge traditional chunk of their automotive and research industry slowly transfer to China 🇨🇳. .I don’t think so .But Germany has become reliant on Russia and they are becoming more attached with China .Very interesting.
Isn’t VW Chinese owned now?

Hahaha I was waiting for that from one of our German friends
Only problem is he is correct in my opinion. Mercedes is a fine vintage wine. Tesla is a Prosecco currently very popular but will be replaced by the next fashionable wine. LOL

There is one big mistake in this discussion. When you talk about Mercedes-Benz it's not just the car-maker. The Mercedes-Benz group contains around 500 companies, each with it's own old-fashioned management structure. With the takeover of such an monster Musk would loose all his "kick and rush" abilities of spontaneous decisions and fast acting. It is big, complex and complicated, and it is pure German bureaucracy, absolute opposite to Musks mentality. I can't see any takeover fantasies, not after Musk with his German factory learns the hard way, what German bureaucracy with millions of regulations means in reality. A partnership, yes, possible, a takeover, no, not in my wildest dreams.

I guess to keep it real, if Elon wanted Akida he would grab some loose change from down the back of the couch and just buy BRN :)

Yes, buying Merc would bring with it huge amounts of tech and R&D upside but as far as we know we don't have a legally binding supply contract with Merc...yet...so Elon buying Merc would not necessarily mean anything to us.

That said however, if Akida continues its positive PR, newsflow and inroads into the market via its current relationships and gets released into a commercially available product then the bigger boys will have no option to take a much bigger interest in us.

All of them have poured mills into their own Dev programs and won't write those off short term unless can just be swapped out for something proven up that the paying public want and they can build on into their brands. Just imo.
Mmmm I think there must be some sort of legal supply agreement in place for Mercedes to have announced Akida/Brainchip in the concept car Surely !,!,

There is most definitely an NDA and a non material supply agreement is also likely unless they received the technology via a third party.

It could also be that when Brainchip announced they had shipped the Studio and Accelerator to a large European Auto manufacturer which came via the ASX this was Mercedes and there was an agreement which extended right through to further iterations of the technology so that no further announcement is required until a material financial agreement is entered.

Again the signing with MegaChips could provide a method for a supply agreement with Mercedes not to be something requiring an announcement.

I tend to think personally as Mercedes has spoken about Brainchip when they place an order it will not be kept a secret as the present release by Mercedes would not have been made. I personally think Mercedes are just ensuring they control the information flow so they can totally manage their own marketing campaign without any concerns about what a supplier like Brainchip may be saying to the market.

Lots of options all of which would be in writing and none of which need to be announced on the ASX in compliance with the NDA at this stage.

$87Trillion? Far out that's a big call considering that Brainchips predicted market is to be $62billion by 2025?

I dunno, I'm open to all kinds of ideas and predictions etc but $87Trillion? I'll call yeah nah... With respect of course 🙏

With regards Dr know it all. He really really should have done a tad bit more research before putting out that video and making the claims he did. We all make mistakes of course so hopefully he changes his opinion on that 🙂

Anyway Brainchip doesn't need a random YouTuber to bring attention to it's technology. We can do that 😂
