BRN & Vorago -> Telstar -> KT -> Mercedes Benz-> BRN

Firstly, I decided to dive into the connection I previously found which seems to link BRN & Vorago with Telstar. As the thread title suggests, there is a tangible circular relationship involving BRN/Vorago, KT Corporation (huge Korean Telco), and Azbil Telstar who, as it turns out, are keen on AI smart factories....

Here goes: BRN and Vorago are advertised as an exhibit at Space Tech 2022:

Unless the presenters of Space Tech Expo have made an error, BRN and Vorago will be displayed at booth 7029:

1645696377011.png

Booth 7029 belongs to Telstar:

1645696535221.png

Please note that the dates of the exhibition and the advertisements link Telstar and BRN & Vorago as they share the same booth; Telstar paid for it and BRN/Vorago, it seems, are taking a free ride...

1645697093250.png

Telstar are into process and equipment solutions as well as specialising in thermal vacuum chambers; space testing....

I thought it ended there but a shallow dive into Telstar, aka Azbil Telstar, aka Telstar_Hommel, shows that they're heavily in AI smart factories:

I recommend their recent video featuring Jung Yung-woon.

I recall LDN mentioning cooperation with a large Korean Co. For a distinctive Korean flavour (Telstar Co is everywhere), Telstar is correlated with Hyundai and KT:

Finally, a Telstar/KT connection with Mercedes leads nicely back to BRN:

Please pull this apart whilst sparing thoughts and prayers for those caught in conflict...

Great post mate, thanks for taking the time to put it all together!
Definitely exciting times ahead, and the bit about the KT/Merc voice recognition bit is almost too obvious.
I'm well aware they could use anyone and almost any form of AI tech to accomplish this, but why redevelop a system on its own, that is now proven to work in a Mercedes with Akida already. I think its almost a certainty that BRN is involved.

KT is listed (06/10/21) aside LG, SK Telecom, Samsung, and Posco as companies the Korean Gov is supporting in a national effort to bring forth the fourth. Another Co, touted in the article as 'one of the top startups in the smart factory solution space in Korea', is Gentle Energy Corp. These guys are intriguing...

Gentle Energy Corp offers self-powered sensors. These things are said to be able hone in on frequencies, such as noise from the factory floor, and use the energy from the frequency to support itself; like surfing. Gentle Energy Corp on self-powered sensors: 'Install anywhere, Sense anything'...

Self-powered sensors would need, of course, to run on-ultra low power. In addition, and something crucial, is the need for a self-powered sensor to be able to switch on from base level the instant it detects its preferred frequency. It would also be best if, as frequencies change in the factory (imagine a bandsaw processing timber of different density), the self-powered sensors would be able to optimise, in one-or two shots, preferably. Without the cloud? Definitely...

Watched some spy craft on Netflix and wonder how important this tech is and probably why so secretive. 1960s technology is pretty much out daily routine.
As big Kev would say I’m excited

And a big apology to Quatrojos. Excellent work again.

I did think someone copied and pasted to HC. Saturday morning switched off sessions.

CNN-Based Defect Inspection for Injection Molding Using Edge Computing and Industrial IoT Systems

Abstract
Currently, the development of automated quality inspection is drawing attention as a major component of the smart factory. However, injection molding processes have not received much attention in this area of research because of product diversity, difficulty in obtaining uniform quality product images, and short cycle times. In this study, we proposed a defect inspection system for injection molding in edge intelligence. Using data augmentation, we solved the data shortage and imbalance problem of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), introduced the actual smart factory method of the injection process, and measured the performance of the developed artificial intelligence model. The accuracy of the proposed model was more than 90%, proving that the system can be applied in the field.

During the experiment, we collaborated with a company called Telstar-Hommel. Furthermore, we used software tools called LINK5. Telstar-Hommel has 30 years experience of building assembly lines, measurement machines, and quality control systems for the automotive industry. LINK5 is Telstar-Hommel’s independent Smart Factory platform created based on years of experience in building automation lines in various industries and the know-how of IT professionals.

The KT AI is sounding wonderfully similar to 'Hey Mercedes'. FF and Manchild, I'm quite sure you would agree. And I'm not getting brained by BS's ogre-club either...

I trust BRN is included in sanctions against Putimir Vladin...

I was relieved to hear LDN say 'we don't need China'.

I'd love to see Mr Hehir proving that 'we don't need Russia'.
