cheer up chippers,
Rumour has it that we have never lost a customer from a technical evaluation, there will be an explosion of sales and we should watch the financials, Sean has got some news for Christmas or just after, as in watch us now???
Ok sarcasm to the side, clearly there is progress and we are watching the reality in real time, whilst being frustrated with our own time expectations, fuelled by the types of comments per the above rumour.
Clearly, as accepted by management at the last AGM, and the one before that, communication to the shareholder base has been poor and will be improved. For the life of me, I cant understand why there are not regular, well worded updates, that don't name drop or break the rules, but give us beggars some confidence in the positive traction of the organisation.
I've noticed quite a few job vacancies at Brainchip, are they new hires or replacements? I know there are lots of reasons staff move on, but if your working on the latest gadget, with a technology and market lead, coupled with plenty of reward when the orders drop??????
Also as Sean says, the company is mostly engineers and scientists, isn't that what he says? How many is employed now? more than 50? Simplistically, I presume the scientist's are developing and the engineers are supporting the sales, existing customers and of course the scientists. We cant be charging much for our engineering support at the moment.
Of the $400K revenue, is it reasonable at this point to guess 75% is engineering, say $300K. At $100 an hour over the quarter, that amounts to say 7 engineers charging 35 hr weeks. (thats $100 bucks an hour for cutting egde tech support, geez a plumber in aust will charge you that). What I'm saying is for my eyes, theres not a lot of traction just yet for chargeable work so at least for that qtr, we seem still in the business of giving shit away.
One more vent. The report did it's job, consolidated retty much what we knew into a couple of paragraphs. Leaving that again to one of the last days allowable, to me just feeds the downrampers and manipulators on the leadup. it also feels to me, just a personal opinion, like a kid running late with homework and providing the minimal and basic to get through. Another missed opportunity for mine. The BOD know the shareholders are starved, the BOD have promised better. It could have been provided earlier, and in addition to the mandatory requirements, a well drafted
Sales, Technical and Company update, without breaking the rules, faaaaark, marketing 101.
Yes it's a good time to top up, the leader of the opposition has given the nod to grab a few more, but I'd much rather be looking at green than trying to average further down.
Ok Rant over, apologies everyone, feel free to use the ignore button. It must be 5 o'clock somewhere, as I said, cheer up chippers.
Wags, totally feel your frustration (and I share it).

The thing that burns me the most (well one of them) is that some of the basic things you have mentioned in your post could easily be done, but for some reason BrainChip choose not to do it.

It's a matter of choice for BrainChip, but they choose not to...

I will never understand why they don't care about the share price or their shareholders.

But man, wouldn't it be nice to be averaging UP instead of averaging DOWN! Good Luck!

Yes but it does not take up to 5 years to get the chips out of the fryer and end up in a device can predict Epileptic seizures.
Comparing fish and chips to Neuromorphic Edge AI - research issue? - for a start AKIDA does not need salt!

Then again the fish and chip shop has been in business for decades, has a proven pipeline, shorter lead times and actually ships chips on a daily basis.

Plus the fish shop's owner doesn’t keep saying “watch us now” when the fryer’s on the fritz.

Why are there some random peas in my fish and chips? 🧠🐟🍟

Hi Bravo,

Here is my answer to the question that I thought you were asking. From other responses, I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Because the table has a cost per chip and a price per chip, I assume the 'cost' is what Brainchip pay for it and the 'price' is what they will sell it for. (I think the word 'variable' is because Brainchip could vary that by placing a bigger or smaller order. The $2.94 is for the order they are placing. Assume, assume, assume.)

So I would GUESS that if you were to buy < 10 chips, you would pay $50 each. 11-50 $45 each, etc etc on some scale.

To only pay $4, I would hope the order is 1 million plus. My absolute guesstimate is that Nex Novus would pay $30/chip and Parsons would pay $10/chip.

$136 000 in revenue. For the life of me, I just can't understand why the share price hasn't hit $1.

Seriously though, why would they mention the bit about volume with Parsons if the 100 000 wasn't just a toe dip with serious volumes envisioned. Once they prove to themselves that AKD1500 works every time, the volume will follow. 1 million time $4 is harder to poke fun at.

Additionally, my $136k guesstimate is less than $9m, so Sean, who surely hit his target, has some more dollars up his sleeve.

Okay, I will be charmed to receive some cracking feedback on my extremely insightful post.

H.
So the foundry is not asking the customer to pay for fixed salaries, cap ex and the many other costs associated with silicon chip manufacturing? Just the variables?

Hi Manny.
Appreciate the logic of this but many of us have been invested for 10 or more years now.
If I was just coming upon BrainChip at this point in its development and at this price I would count myself fortunate.

But a decade or more of hearing optimistic statements from management (what else would anyone ever expect 🤣) that just don't seem to quite pan out, along with the necessary but virtually continuous dilution with an ever expanding SOI, just to keep the doors open, whilst our management pays themselves as if we were already making break even revenue or better, is straining the good will of many.

The fact that we have our noses rubbed in it on a daily basis by the legion of FUDster's doesn't help much either.

I guess the primary gripe revolves around just how long its taking and holder's can't help but make comparisons with peers like WBT and newcomers like NVU, amongst others.

The increasing uncertainty regarding the macro political and economic environment flapping against our eyeballs and earholes daily is probably a factor for many as well.

I wonder if "they" will try and push us down to .15 at the close this arvo or if they'll wait to see what lead trumpland delivers overnight?
GLTAH.
Hi Hoppy,

Agree with most of what you've said. I think WBT can be distinguished in that it is a product with an established market, just a better mousetrap. Akida is a paradigm shift, and basically has to build the market from the ground up. (Easy to see this in retrospect!). I did expect the tech to be valued on its potential, just as a mineral explorer is valued when it has proven assays. I was (still am) beguiled by the tech, but we were in danger of hitting the rocks and had to jettison the new born Akida 1 chip (temporarily, as it turned out) because of the financial peril, not to mention the new management's underestimation of the Akida 1 tech, based on the secret knowledge of TENNs, and probably some new requirements for greater precision from EAP feedback. So there was a 2 year hiatus in getting to market in a significant way.

As to executive pay, Zuckerberg and his ilk are paying $50M+ sign-on bonuses for top candidates. We could not hold Rudy Pei - that was 10 years of our salary budget.

I think the QV CyberNeuro-RT Akida Edge Box is our quickest path to market because the hardware (including 2*Akidae) already exists, and the software has been proofread by DoE and MDA.

Venting helps they say ... so here's my two cents.

Quarterly Activities Report - Operations Report ........ very flat and uninspiring, written and approved when you have nothing to say and missed targets again again again !!!. Poor result given Sean was supposed to sign a $9M contract before Xmas to meet whatever KPI he has been set (per Board comments at AGM ... if my memory is correct ) and he was so full of bluster in an interview in 2025 claiming things would start now, watch us now !! ... I must need to update my English understanding of the word "Now".

Communication to shareholders not acceptable! .The mention of Nex Novus and still no ASX update ... BRN are no doubt in compliance with the ASX rules but they're definitely not letting the world know of their achievements and increasing shareholder wealth.

Companies have a responsibility to increase wealth to shareholders ...... the share price will do what it will do is also not an acceptable comment!

Even if a material contract lands tomorrow my comments are still valid. Sean, while probably working extremely hard, (in fairness the best CEO to date) needs to hit targets, communicate much better (I should not have to scour through every media service to stay appraised) and thereby increase the wealth of all stakeholders.

Aaaaahhhhhh much better - big breath of oxygen needed .. haha

One last thing.

SPPs to date have not occurred when the company is on a solid footing and the share price slowing rising over time so I consider these SPPs of no; assistance and show of gratitude to shareholders.
Transparency .. yes I have supported the company for more years than nearly every person here and yes I have participated to a very limited degree in earlier raises.

Perhaps BRN has mistakenly aimed for the top end, ie: missiles and defence, when we should’ve aimed for every washing machine and hairdryer?

Hi Cirat, from the AGM, we were told that Sean's goal for 2025 was $9M in bookings A booking is according to BrainChip - "any paid or legally binding commitment to purchase goods and/or services from the company.

However since there is no official transcript or video release of the AGM, I would not be surprised if BRN backtracks on this.... I honestly would not put it past them. I mean if Antonio has the balls to say at the AGM that they were not considering re-domiciling to the US, I guess they could say they did not set Sean a $9M target for 2025.

But at the of the day, Sean will be getting 50% of of bonus regardless of what he achieves, so they may as well make his target $100M!!!

Just to remind everyone - any achievement between 0% and 80% of his target/ goal, will result in a 50% payment of his bonus.

Unbelievable.. and look at the share price,, oh that's right, the share price will do what the share price will do. The words of Antonio that will never be forgotten by shareholders!

if you don't believe it, go and look at the 2025 Annual Report!

Hi Dino.
The various iterations of the Akida device are aimed at everything that senses, moves or is painted grey.

I'm sure they will happily do a deal for any of those devices you mentioned, but seeing how we are early on, in regards new versions of those things, (or the robots that will replace their functions), the cutting edge, where the metal meets the meat is where we prove we have the chops.

When our tech wins, where it's a life and death scenario, selling millions more so Ken and Barbie don't get blisters will be a piece of cake.
So goes the theory, anyway..

This post is in no intention to offend anyone positive or negative, me and my family relatives own big time BRN 20+mil, in which some are free carrying through trading and some in deep red, no, purple, me included:

Legit concerns we share are:
1: None of the Aussie directors participated in the share placement offers which they entitle to, right? while vocal confidence was spilled out such as watch the financials, explosive sales and watch us now very recently etc etc, would it be reasonable to say they know more than what we do? THIS IS RED FLAG
2: It is, in our opinion, disgusting to see that our chairman in the AGM denying the move to USA while it was announced in asx balck and white, THIS IS RED FLAG
3: The non disclosure of the last AGM video with the excuse of attendee's refusal is just beyond our comprehension, I personally trust those I saw with an ordinary Aussies appearance in the meeting will never oppose such move but the Board or the self-elected director, THIS IS RED FLAG
4: Hate to say this, LDA, worst deal ever, they sell on your behalf and get paid 9.5%(on top of my head), this is driving the holders mad coz it is a fact that BRN is committed and dumping will continue as usual throughout to June 26 THIS IS RED FLAG

HOWEVER:
1: PARTNERS ACCUMULATING
2: EXPOSURE
3: PETER NOT SELLING

I am getting to my point now, speaking for myself tho, I'll start trading this stock instead of holding after next QTY if nothing happens coz, end of the day, I am her to make money, precisely, to make my life more comfortable, not anyone else's

good luck to all
