Here is some info on Dávid Juhász, who has been a Senior Software Engineer with Frontgrade Gaisler since June 2025.

He is one of the 15 co-authors of the Project NEURAVIS paper “Evaluation of Neuromorphic computing technologies for very low power AI/ML applications”(https://thestockexchange.com.au/threads/brn-discussion-ongoing.1/post-475105), which was a collaboration between Airbus Defence & Space Toulouse, Airbus Defence & Space Ottobrunn, BrainChip, Frontgrade Gaisler, Neurobus and ESA.

While said paper is no longer accessible via the link provided in my above September 2025 post (although preserved in the form of screenshots) , the EDHPC25 NEURAVIS presentation by co-author Roland Brochard, Computer Vision Expert for Space Systems at Airbus Defence & Space Toulouse, can still be accessed online:

Dávid Juhász is also involved in the recently launched VAIAS project (November 2025 - November 2027) alongside his Frontgrade Gaisler colleague Daniel Andersson and their partner team around Rapidity Space CEO Mattias Örth.
The objective of VAIAS is “to validate and commercialize GR801, a neuromorphic AI accelerator designed for onboard autonomy in space missions” (https://esaphilab.se/vaias-project/).

A week ago, I shared my findings about a new ESA-Phi-Lab Sweden project called VAIAS (Validation of an AI Accelerator for Space), which is a collaboration between Frontgrade Gaisler and Rapidity Space that aims to validate the GR801 neuromorphic AI accelerator (-> Akida) for onboard autonomy in radiation-prone environments.

Today, RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) posted on LinkedIn about the official kick-off for VAIAS and two other ESA Phi-Lab Sweden Edge AI space projects:

I don’t think this is an indicator for something. It’s not Instagramm and I personally don’t know whether his account is designed to generate likes and visibility. If someone isn’t very active on LinkedIn or isn’t connected with him, they simply won’t like the posts.

I can see it in myself as well: I don’t even like everything my close friends or business partners post. If I really like something, I’ll usually message them directly. Otherwise I just take it in—even if it sounds good. Nobody is on LinkedIn 24/7.

Yes, it's coming, AKD 1500 is the next cab out of the foundry, but AKD 2 0 is also in play and what about the question many have been asking, which was mentioned by the company at some point in the past, yes I'm referring to, a USB stick.

Maybe the dickheads who like bagging me could give you all an answer, USB or no plans for a USB stick...which is it ?

The main selling point of the new Dell Pro Max Plus is the Qualcomm AI 100 inference card, which Dell says includes two AI 100 cards for a total of 32 AI cores and 64GB of on-board memory, which is separated from the main RAM of the system. This allows the Dell Pro Max Plus to handle Large language Models with up to 109 billion parameters.

It is confusing. GRAIN is the name of the project and everything falls under that. The GR801 chip was its first chip and was/is fully commercial.
The VAIAS project falls under the GRAIN project (everything does).
The original GR801 chip was commercial in the sense it was available for sale to research labs, universities, early adopters etc but it was not yet fully commercial in the sense that it was not qualified for actual space travel - hence the VAIAS project to get the qualification.
Pretty much standard practice in the industry. If chip makers waited for full commercial space qualification pretty much nothing would ever leave the ground.
Its confusing for sure.
Its amazing how long these project take. Even Autos when they are 'very' neuromorphic and the roads full of them people would not believe the concept was first introduces maybe 7, 8 or 9 years ago.
I guess that is why the BRN rush is currently on wearables and defense with wearables likely the quickest.

If these were his own cybersecurity benchmarking results, where is the description of his experiment setup etc?

Me too. I think it is wrong that they are not doing more to communicate any commercial progress they are making to shareholders and potential investors. If the CEO can claim that now is the time for revenue to come in then I think it is reasonable to expect them to present some form of revenue forecast. There isn’t much investor confidence in BrainChip which according to our CEO there should be. I think more needs to be done to communicate success to investors. It would be nice to know if Sean hit his KPI of $12 M in bookings. That would be a start.
