Hello all, first post and I express a lot of ignorance about AI. But I notice recently that Intel have now welcomed Brainchip's Akida IP in to Intel Foundry Services. Is this acknowledgement that Loihi 2 is nowhere as advanced as Akida or will Loihi continue to be developed. I understand that the next Akida rendition will soon be released with Transformer abilities. How do you guys think this will play out and do you believe neuromorphic edge computing will really take off?

I'm currently ill therefore I'm not quite sure what I'm reading:
1. This describes the very basics of an event based network? So this patent is worth quite a lot?
2. Is this the dagger thrust (Dolchstoss) for loihi 2?
3. Is this somehow limited to digital hardware?
4. If 3. is no, how would be analog event based networks be impacted?

What I don’t get Tech is that all this information that has been collected by all these amazing people here an on the other place is truly incredible, but yet we have so little to show for it.
Dry few company releases very poor information from BrainChip and a very low share price
One has to have to be slightly crazy to stay invested like I am up to my armpits in this company thinking that one day it might actually be a good investment

And that is exactly what the shorters and manipulators want retail investors to feel - hoping that you sell your shares and if you do they hoover them up quicker than your wife can spend your money.
A low share price isn't particular to BRN, there are plenty more ASX listed companies out there in exactly the same boat..
These may be testing times, but as has been said many times before - do your research and if that tells you you're on a winner then patience is the way to go no matter how hard it may seem.
PS If ASIC had any balls they would stop all this manipulation shit.

In 2023 Brainchip announced two patents on the asx as “price sensitive” announcements. I’d like to know the decision pattern BRN use to decide when to do this or not because from feedback here (above my pay grade) this latest patent last week is of high importance and may require an announcement??

Just wondering if anyone else who may have participated in the SPP just closed on Friday has had any sort of confirmation that their funds have been received?
I know that the shares are expected to be allocated this coming Monday or Tuesday, but in previous allocations I recall getting a confirmation notification email from the issuing body beforehand.
But not this time, so far anyways.

The scope of protection of a patent is defined in the claims. Claims 1 to 23 are for a system, but are not limited to digital or analog.
Claims 24 on are for a method and are not tied to hardware other than a NN.
This is one of the basic TENNs patents.
