Speaking of Canada and Agricultural AI - a non-peer-reviewed preprint titled “Sustainable Computing for Digital Livestock: Reconciling Artificial Intelligence with Planetary Boundaries” was published today. It was written by Suresh Neethirajan, Professor for Precision Lifestock Farming at Dalhousie University, Halifax and the university’s Agricultural Campus in Truro.

Neuromorphic computing comes up quite a few times (“Neuromorphic computing represents one of the most promising frontiers for sustainable AI in agriculture.”), and even Akida gets a fleeting mention:

Just skimmed through an excellent Mywai presentation which was part of a broader conversation of “Thought leaders” about industrial AI. There were some other big companies guest speakers as well but I skipped them as I didn’t have time to go through it all.

The Mywai guy spoke very well. They are very ambitious and really pushing to integrate AI to the edge for real use cases. They are addressing industrial and medical.

One such use case is for Stellantis, using AI to improve and report on welding the car chassis together with robots. Also welding the large EV battery units together which given the chemistry inside and the way the integrity of unit would be built would require some precision.




Brainchip wasn’t mentioned directly and Mywai are using a few different ML options. Obviously trying to find the best solution depending on use cases, power and edge constraints etc.

There are a few images of Brainchip in the slides. I was hoping for a specific mention of which use cases but I didn’t hear any but I did skim though it.

The Mywai brand edge box looks suspiciously similar to ours?

It looks like a promising partnership with Mywai for the long term.

Spotted this intriguing LinkedIn post involving Genoa-based MYWAI, with whom we partnered back in 2023 (https://brainchip.com/brainchip-and-mywai-partner-to-deliver-next-generation-edge-ai-solutions/). What caught MYEYE specifically was “FIONA™ (Fin Ray Inspired Gripper Maintenance Agent)” that “uses edge-optimized neuromorphic AI to monitor the gripper’s condition in real time, improving reliability and maintenance efficiency”.

I then googled “I-GENIUS”, which stands for Intelligent Gripper using Edge AI & Neural Imitation for User Support” and found this April 2025 YouTube video, in which MYWAI Founder & CEO Fabrizio Cardinali explains the project proposal and also mentions “neuromorphic chips that can optionally be used to accelerate the delivery”, specifically naming BrainChip. Akida also shows up on two of the presentation slides. (See also the tagged October 2024 post by @Stable Genius, which covered a presentation already alluding to the project at the time).

Yep manny it will be interesting as it may prove what a dog management and directors we have at brainchip, it will prove without a doubt that retail shareholders have been sold out again. Anyone who says that they don’t know who the shares are being sold to in a book build if FOS, The directors and management know exactly who the end buyers are. Sophisticated Investors equal shorters. Why don’t retail buy into the SPP because they don’t trust,believe,the absolute bullshit fluff that has come out of our CEO. If our shares had not have been manipulated/shorted and driven into the ground in what appears to be a concerted effort by management to keep the share price down, to suppress and Deny the market and investors of imformation this share would be north of $1 and retail would gladly invest. A absolute sad state of affair is about to be disclosed for the second time!!

If management came out openly and said we have a order/signed contract with a major company for 1million chips, we need $30million dollars for the chips to be manufactured. We want to do a retail SPP, retail would be all over it. But no we get we are going into production we are going to sell the chips somewhere between $4-50 depending on amount they buy. Tells market/retail nothing 450,000 chips we may make 2 million out of them or 20 million how the fuck do you rightfully invest in that shit. Fluff, disclosed to confuse retail.
