I am gutted that BrainChip’s have done nothing for the share price it will do what it does but that doesn’t help knowing this.

You could write a thesis on each of them, and, on the commercial potential, each one is a revenue multiplier.

What if the latest loss/sacking of the VP Of Sales was due to the loss of the 9 million contract, shits gunna get real then hey, Hehir has previously promised a contract imminent only to state we lost a big fish. What if it’s just happened again. Not saying it has happened but may explain the sudden upward trajectory of shorts. Just a theory. DYOR and all that crap but does fit the timeframe.

How are the TSP chips programmed?
ABR supports the TSP chips with an API and an AI hardware deployment SaaS platform called NengoEdge (edge.nengo.ai). AI models can be imported from TensorFlow and then optimized for deployment to the TSP and other chips using NengoEdge. With NengoEdge you can pick a network, set various hardware-aware optimizations, and then have NengoEdge train and optimize the network using hardware specific optimizations, including quantization and utilization of any available AI acceleration features, such as the LMU fabric if a TSP is targeted. The result is an optimal packing of the AI network onto the targeted chips to deliver the fastest, lowest-power and most economical solution for delivering the chosen network onto the target hardware. All without buying each chip to test or learning the details of each chip. Users can see the TSP shine on all time series workloads, for example for voice assistants or radar processing AI systems.
Can you tell us more about your LMU compression algorithm?
The Legendre Memory Unit (LMU) was engineered by emulating the algorithm used by time cells in the human brain and specifically how time cells are so efficient at learning and identifying event sequences. The LMU makes the ABR TSP’s large gains in efficiency, performance and cost possible for inferencing all time series and sequence-based AI models. We patented the LMU worldwide in 2019 and announced it NeurIPS in December 2019. We then published the software versions of the LMU on our website and GitHub in 2020. There are many papers now published using the LMU and achieving state of the art results on time series workloads by other groups. We have many clients who have licensed the LMU software running on CPUs, GPUs or MCUs for signal and speech processing in devices such as wearables, medical devices and drone controllers. Many of those are now waiting to move to a TSP chip to extend their battery life and support even larger models at lower power, cost and latency levels.

Networks may use spiking or non-spiking activation functions, may be stacked or recurrently coupled with other neural network architectures, and may be implemented in software and hardware. Embodiments of the invention provide systems for pattern classification, data representation, and signal processing, that compute using orthogonal polynomial basis functions that span sliding windows of time.
They have further patents for hardware implementations which were filed after our early TENNs patents:

A hardware-based processing system for event-based processing of neural networks comprises event buses and processing elements arranged in stages or layers. The processing elements receive events from the event bus and process them in synaptic input and neural output stages to generate an output event that is output to the event bus of a later stage. Each processing element includes an address generator that determines target addresses for stored synaptic states and weights for events. Synchronisation is managed locally in each processing element by a phase controller based on the time indices of each event indicating a time-step or phase.
From something Tony Lewis (I think?) said, I suspect that our use of a look-up-table (LUT) may differentiate TENNs from their earlier patent, which uses the processor/software to calculate the connection values. The LUT is faster/less power hungry.
