BRN Discussion Ongoing

Apologies if this has already been asked in this thread — and sorry if it’s a silly question.

What’s the likelihood that BRN will delist from the ASX and move to a US exchange? And who actually decides if we make the move — shareholders, directors, or someone else?

It's the shareholders who decided.

The are two votes that need to be passed for this to go through.

“headcount” test – a simple majority (50% plus one) of registered shareholders plus
“voted shares” test – 75% of votes cast on resolution (one vote per share so 75% of the share voting on the resolution)

I don't believe there is any chance of this going through right now, due to our share price.

The consolidation would be too high (around 25:1) at the minute.

The company will need a very big carrot to entice shareholders to vote for this (and a big increase in share price)

I've been following the James Hardie saga over the last few weeks and I'd say the job of BRN management successfully proceeding with re-domiciling without the overwhelming support of shareholders is now almost impossible. There has been such a backlash against JH being given a free pass by the ASX to proceed with a US takeover and re-domiciling that BRN management will have make a VERY compelling case to all shareholders to get their proposal over the line. My opinion only.

Gidday All,

I thought I'd share this fact, recently someone from Nvidia was checking out my Linkedin account.

Just wonder, was it Jensen? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: dreams are free of course, may have been Rudy.

Also, I agree with what Toasty just posted, something big must be in the pipeline, because I still strongly believe
that it's way too early to be moving to the US........selling this idea to the masses will be just as hard as selling Studio was!!

Purely my opinion, could be right or wrong.......regards Tech.

This is floating around in the aether. Someone likes us (speculatively):

PERTH / MUNICH (IT BOLTWISE) – In the world of artificial intelligence and chip development, a new player may be entering the scene with the potential to challenge the established giants. BrainChip Holdings Ltd., an Australian company specializing in neuromorphic processors, is being touted as a potential market leader of the future by an AI analysis.

@cosors Can you confirm their claim as Germany's No. 1 AI rag?

If you read the article it has been generated using GPT-4o, an advanced version of ChatGPT.

Not worth the paper it's written on (or webpage!)

You do realise if you a premium member on LinkedIn that you can see who has looked at your LinkedIn profile. This way you should be able to see who at Nivida looked at your profile.

Good to know and always happy to be corrected but suggest some who may wish to remain private haven’t got their privacy settings on or maybe don’t care but I feel like they should given their position in a company. All good.

Brainchip has worked out a way of converting traditional algorithms to State Space Model (SSM) algorithms resulting in way smaller chips.
See Edge AI and Vision Alliance description by Tony Lewis concerning his presentation quoted below.
The implications for a much smaller chip are huge. Think small devices including mobile phones.
For example, the possibility of Pico or a slightly larger version of Pico in mobile phones for example for 'game changing cybersecurity ' is huge.
Also, the possibility for other small devices is limitless.
This has largely gone under the radar.
"Explore the future of AI at the edge withM Anthony Lewis, CTO ofBrainChip, at the Embedded Vision Summit. He'll contrast state-space models (SSMs) with transformers, showing how SSMs, with their read-only architecture, reduce power consumption and chip area. Discover how SSMs achieve real-time interactivity and how new techniques enable distillation-based migration from transformer models like Llama without losing performance."

Hi Manny,

What I like about Dr. Tony is that he is up and about, super intelligent and happy to present on behalf of Brainchip with the
confidence that can seal deals, having never met him in person yet, I believe he would be just as friendly and approachable
as Peter and Anil are with me, never giving away any info that they shouldn't be, but always appreciative of shareholders
acknowledging their great work and always trying to educate in a positive manner.

Keep fighting the good fight Dr. Tony, us Aussie shareholders are backing you in all the way, just like my Brisbane Lions, go
Lions, still managing to win games, but nowhere near our brilliant best just yet!

Cheers...Tech

Hi Tech, I like the following of what Tony said " He'll contrast state-space models (SSMs) with transformers, showing how SSMs, with their read-only architecture, reduce power consumption and chip area."
Chip size reduction with ultra-low power and maintaining performance is the absolute key to AI at the Edge dominance.
Imagine AKIDA in a small form included in devices.
It's all about SWAP with real time event based and on chip learning.

It reads as if Brainchip and its technology are now being given honourable attention here. Michael Freitag is unknown to me, so far, and he seems to be a profound connoisseur in his publishing industry when it comes to disruptive technologies, otherwise he would not have such success with his company, as it seems https://studio.critch.de/
He has won a prize that is not just any prize. Michael Freitag from Munich wins GERMAN WEB AWARD® 2022 with his app https://www.mobileadvertise.de/
Forbes: https://forbes.swiss/artikel/MICHAEL-FREITAG-AUS-MÜNCHEN-GEWINNT-GERMAN-WEB-AWARD-2022
DACH means Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein (the nest of the rich) and Luxembourg.
The magazine in which these investment considerations appear is Boltwise, a specialist magazine in Germany with a focus on artificial intelligence and robotics with over one million readers https://www-it--boltwise-de.translate.goog/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=de&_x_tr_pto=wapp
That doesn't seem like much at first, but when I consider that this is a very specific magazine, it seems like a lot again.
His words are promising. BrainChip: A potential challenger for NVIDIA in the age of AI
If Akida will have reached Heise, our leading IT magazine, then it has reached https://www.heise.de/
I still need time to look into it, but I find it encouraging and promising. Above all, the fact that Mr Freitag directly raises the idea that Braicnhip could be a takeover candidate for Nvidia shows that he is familiar with the matter, like us, and is following it closely.

If I find out anything else, I'll let you know here. Thanks for the good read!

The reach of the Botwise is extensive. If I search the web here in German and for things in the last week with "Brainchip" or "neuromorphic", Mr Freitag's article is at the top.

IT Boltwise positions >itself< as an AI news blog, but is significantly smaller compared to the top 25 portals mentioned below and plays a subordinate role in the reach comparison. The written arcticle based on assumptions from Chat-GPT and just play with "dreams".... but you all know, if people like what they hear, they picture positive images in their brains  regardles realism.

The following high-reach portals have dominated the general IT and tech media sector in Germany for years:
  1. Chip Online: By far the tech portal with the widest reach in Germany
  2. Computerbild: Remains consistently in second place
  3. heise online: In third place, with stable reach
  4. Giga and Golem: Also among the top 5 tech media

These portals report widely on IT, technology and, increasingly, artificial intelligence. There is actually no separate category for specialized AI and AI websites in the general reach rankings. However, the major tech portals (see above) have their own AI sections and thus achieve the greatest reach in German-speaking countries.

The following table might be 10 years old but it shows the sources of information that are still relevant today.... maybe in slightly different order.

Nevertheless IT-Boltwise is a serious, German-language news source with a focus on AI and robotics, which presents current developments in an understandable way and is therefore particularly attractive to a general audience interested in technology... but the article about BrainChip seems to me, let's say an Chat-GPT generated dream which we all want to happen... and we kind off bet on that by buying shares. 😎

But they really discussed a valid and serious issue as working in Aged care sector for past 15 years we do struggle with man power to look after our aged population. How wonderful and great it would be if this tech can be used as they discussed.
