A very nice article which gives an interesting look at the problem of Ai adoption in Industry. The following sets out the problem:
“In consumer software, you can build one monolithic AI system to serve a hundred million or a billion users, and truly get a lot of value in that way,” he said. “But in manufacturing, every plant makes something different. So every manufacturing plant needs a custom AI system that is trained on their data.”
The challenge that many companies in the AI world face, he continued, is how, for example, to help 10,000 manufacturing plants build 10,000 customer systems”
This problem does not exist for AKIDA technology based solutions as Anil Mankar has spoken about it on more than one occasion thanks to one shot/several shot learning on chip.
Over close to 5 years now I have read millions of words written by a cross section of people who cover the full breadth of those who profess all sorts of expertise from industry to investment but when I read words of those who are expressing doubt about Brainchip’s future a common theme seems to pervade they do not understand the true nature of the technology paradigm shift that AKIDA technology is bringing.
The brilliance of Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar cannot be over stated. They have single handedly invented and developed a complete answer to brute force computing.
The accumulation of massive labeled data sets is no longer necessary.
Peak load coal fired power stations are no longer needed to tell Siri to turn on the television.
Electric vehicles can be built with acceptable range.
Factories can easily switch production runs to accommodate a new customer’s order.
Machines in the heart of the city or in the most remote locations on the planet underground without any hope of connection can be monitored for vibration or other defects.
I don’t need anymore information than that which is publicly available to be as I am supremely confident in the success of my investment in Brainchip.

Realistically it could be a minimum of 5% of the market - but that's just too exciting to even think about...

After our last dog passed my wife and I agreed we would never go through that feeling of loss again. The poor thing had reached a point where she had to be put down and after the injection she put her head on my shoulder and I can still see that expression of complete trust as she slowly drifted away. Never again.

My daughter told me it was impossible to teach a dog to wink when she caught me trying again. Of all our previous dogs she was obviously interested and was very smart.
Anyway after four years she managed her first wink but it was such an effort and involved so much concentration if anyone else was about she could not do it.
About two years before she passed she winked at my daughter who was probably her next favourite person.
An amazing member of our family for so many years. FF

The term ‘neuromorphic feedback loop’ may denote a feedback loop comprising a machine-learning unit. The input of the neuromorphic feedback loop may be directly or indirectly derived from the read-out signal, converted into a series of electrical spikes which may be used as input signals to a neural network. The neural network may be trained according to different characteristics in different frequency ranges. It may be used to reduce noise (attenuation) and amplify one or more specific frequency ranges, e.g., in order to capture spoken language of a specific person in a noisy environment (if, e.g., many people speaking in parallel)
The term ‘spike event circuit’ may denote an electronic circuit converting electrical signals into a series of electrical spike events of different repetition frequency. It may be used as input signals to a neural network for further analysis and feedback loop and to tune the signal processing output of the signal generation. The neural network may also be used to generate a preprocessed output of the artificial cochlea.
According to a possible embodiment of the artificial cochlea, the neuromorphic feedback loop may comprise a spike event circuit—which may mainly operate in an analog mode—connected to a neural network. Thereby, the spike event circuit may be connected via an AER (address event representation) interface which is a neuromorphic inter-chip communication protocol designed allowing real-time connectivity between artificial neurons. Thus, the signal spikes, generated by the analog spike event circuit, may be received by the input layer of the artificial neural network. The output of the trained artificial neural network may then be used to directly influence the functioning and electrical characteristics of the frequency filter and/or the amplitude forming circuit.
