Let’s see if your right and if we have a massive decline in shorts
Hmm........

If shorts decline, then, would they become Kylie Minogue style Hot Pants???

This is very strange; he is a strange guy. It is not his job to recognize people or companies regarding BrainChip's announcements. It is inappropriate.
It also surprises me that he is still unemployed; after all, he has excellent qualifications. Does he blame BrainChip for firing him during his job interviews? Is that the reason? Employers don't like that.
I hope he does not ignore all the existing patents, or else he will be in even more trouble.

He jumps on his old employer's success train to catch a new job . This is also very strange!

Same thought… it’s absolutely no go to make such statements… that’s worse behaviour… doesn’t matter how good someone is in his field…. Show some backbone

This belong together I guess mimimi…. Why should a company take credit for people are not working for them anymore… everything you did, you did it for the company… slowly I can imagine who the issue was ….

Did you not see Anthony Lewis praise the hiring of both Olivier & Rudy?

Surely it works both ways. He is the inventor (ok, co-inventor) of one of the core pillars of our technology. I really don't understand the hate directed at past employees. It's like Trump firing someone he hired and then telling the world only an idiot would have hired that person in the first place!!

Hi ILL,

"allowing us to integrate dedicated AI directly into the silicon" - that sounds like IP, not chips.

Forwardedge ASIC make a 3U VPX board. https://forwardedgeasic.com/3uvpx-board/

BH's 3U VPX used 5 separate Akida 1 chips, but they had a smallish number of nodes, and this was probably just a demonstrator. While a single SoC incorporating a large number of Akida nodes could do the job, then, depending on the criticality, they may want at least one backup/redundant chip as well.

https://metromatics.com.au/what-is-a-vpx-system-rugged-defence-embedded-computing-explained/

Why VPX Exists

Traditional VME systems could not support modern mission demands such as:

  • HD/4K/8K video processing
  • GPU-accelerated AI/ML workloads
  • real-time sensor fusion
  • radar and EW processing
  • autonomous navigation
  • high-speed networking and data movement
