That’s also it resting ….SoftBank, as the majority owner of Arm, indirectly sits in the same orbit as BrainChip. BrainChip openly states it’s working and integrating within the Arm ecosystem …“working with ARM, MegaChips and others,” as mentioned in a company report. That alone connects Akida to one of SoftBank’s key semiconductor assets.
The bridge gets even more interesting through Edge Impulse. BrainChip has a formal partnership with Edge Impulse for deployment and co-marketing, and on Edge Impulse’s board sits Simon Segars …former CEO of Arm and former member of SoftBank Group’s board. In other words, there’s a human link threading through the chain….SoftBank
