Thank you for posting that message Doz, I have only ever engaged once with Tony, and if you read how he starts out his
above reply to Gary, you can see that he is being guarded, which is what we all would expect......BUT goes on to share some
really positive news, including high praise for our engineering teams, like I say, he knows how good our technology is, so
taking the time to acknowledge his tech team is "extremely important".

That's the little bit of news bite that we would like to see more of from the top, nothing was given away that could be construed
as breaching company protocol, so I say, take a step back Sean and witness how a little bit of communication can go a long way
to satisfying your biggest supporter base.

More than baby steps, we appear to be taking rather wide steps forward now! ❤️ AKD Tech
Hi Tech,

Something's coming, something goo ...

I think the company has read the NDA riot act.

Here are two more articles by journalists who attended MB’s recent Future Technologies Lab Open House. Both describe NC as a potential solution to drastically cut the energy consumption of SAE Level 4 autonomous functions and quote Mercedes-Benz engineers as saying they were expecting such neuromorphic hardware to become available in the 2030s

Yup, you read that right.

The exact same article can be found on the Handelsblatt website as well:

Also note that Markus Schäfer calls the MB Future Technologies Lab their early-tech kitchen - in my opinion that’s yet another hint that we won’t be seeing the visionary ideas cooked up there implemented in any serial cars about to be released…

For the sake of completeness - this is what Mercedes-Benz also said in the comments under that same January 2025 LinkedIn post in reply to another BRN shareholder’s question:

My guess is the next thing we’re going to hear from Mercedes-Benz with regards to neuromorphic computing will be a LinkedIn post by Markus Schäfer sharing with his network the results of the NAOMI4Radar project, a (roughly) one-year collaboration between several science and industry partners, which received funding from what was formerly known as Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (renamed Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in May 2025 under the new coalition government).

Here you can see the public funding Mercedes-Benz received in support of the NAOMI4Radar project between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024, although the link doesn’t state the exact amount, which was somewhere between € 20,001 and € 30,000 (note that in German “30.000” means “thirty thousand” - and instead of using “decimal points”, we use commas, so “one-and-a-half is written as 1,5.)

According to the following (German only) October 2024 press release by project partner Uni Lübeck, the project was envisaged to run until August 2025:

Another project partner, TWT GmbH Science & Innovation, described the goal of NAOMI4Radar “to optimize radar data processing in autonomous vehicles using #NeuromorphicComputing”, adding “Within the approximately one-year project duration, we aim to demonstrate the industrial applicability of the neuromorphic chip #Loihi2.”

The Mercedes-Benz CTO last posted about the project in mid-April 👇🏻, sharing the progress they had made and mentioning they were expecting the results in (Northern hemisphere) summer. At the time he concluded his post by saying he would continue to report on this complex and exciting project on LinkedIn.

So that’s what I personally expect to hear next from Mercedes-Benz re NC.

Mercedes-Benz have made it clear on several occasions over the past year (eg.👆🏻) that so far they have been looking into neuromorphic computing as part of a research project only, and that “depending on the further development progress, integration could become possible within a timeframe of 5 to 10 years”.

Despite this clarification from their side that we won’t be seeing any serial cars launched in the near future that will already have neuromorphic technology integrated, a number of BRN retail shareholders continue to have unrealistic expectations and fire up the rumour mill every time a new MB model gets released.

The following reply by Mercedes-Benz finally puts an end to all the speculation that Akida may have been integrated into the recently released all-new electric Mercedes-Benz GLC.

Saying that, I wouldn’t be in the least surprised if someone were to say “But the guy only asked whether Akida gets utilised in the “Hey Mercedes!” voice assistant function. MB did not specifically negate Akida being used anywhere else in the all-new electric GLC, so there is still a very good chance we are indeed the secret sauce…” 🤦🏼‍♀️

One person has the link, but does not bother posting it. Now, 1,000 people have to search for it. Thank you for your service. Not.

Gary Fisher I have to wait for the BrainChip site to announce things first. But the team had an intense serveral months with new models published on our site, patent filings and new publications. The new models for the Radar work is very promising. What is cool about some of the radar work is that it will run on akidia 1 and 2 and genai. And we exceeded our targets with a new quantinization algorithm we invented that gives remarkable results ( it will result in much lower power with a small loss in accuracy). The team is so productive. I will see if I can put together a blog on our summers accomplishments. I am very impressed by the team.

Here is the god-damn link, it does sound very positive indeed.

I personally never post without links (if there are any) and I never give likes to posts that take screenshots without links.

It's sloppy by the posters, or maybe it's too complicated for them to do, I don't know?

Just we haven't heard much at all from MegaChips lately, as far as I'm aware..
But I've probably missed stuff..
