I don’t think AKIDA is in the Nintendo Switch 2, simply because of what Sean said at the AGM.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe he said that the bookings that his bonus will be tied to this year would be US$9mil. “Bookings” meaning contract signed, and or purchase order in hand.

Then he was also asked about “royalties” this year and he replied that it was unlikely but possible. I don’t think he was being asked about royalties arising specifically from new bookings, but just royalties in general.

It was this statement about royalties being unlikely that made me think we can rule out the possibility of AKIDA being in the Switch 2.

But I guess you never knew Nintendo are releasing another bigger better version next year

Do you understand that BrainChip is primarily selling (questionable reference) IP and not chips (for the most part) and that the MegaChips licence is for IP and not chips?

Nintendo is one of MegaChips biggest customers.

I'm willing to bet, that there has "never" been something in a Nintendo product, that has "MegaChips" plastered over it, nor would there (need to) be a chip, in any product that contains BrainChip's IP, that says "AKIDA" or "BrainChip" other than products like Bascom Hunters, which are 1st Generation models, using OTSCs.

None of this is to say, that we are or aren't in it, but at this stage, no one here can say categorically, that we are or aren't.

I agree DB, Megachips has an IP agreement so even pulling the device apart will not show the gold. I believe that the watch the financials "eventually" will mean something.

And even if they can't say yes we are in nintendo the will have a please explain by the asx and then they will have to say something like the income is generated from gaming however due to NDA disclosure we are unable to supply any further references.

Then we can all say yep or nah its still not from Nintendo but that will then be irrelevant as its in the $$

Am I onto something linking those top 2 together to get the third one? If it hasn't been looked into yet is it worth investigating?

This is just a thought bubble but just wondering how those would work. Our contract would be with Megachips and not Nintendo. Let's say they report 6 monthly, do they compile sales data 6 monthly? If they do, then have 90 days to pay Megachips. Do Megachips then have 90 days to pay us? So any sales between July to Dec of 2025 would be compiled by end Jan 2026, pay by end of Apr to Megachips, making it payable to BRN by end of JUL 2026. On this scenario the 3 weeks of sales to end JUN this year would mean we would be paid by end of JAN 2026 which would be reported by BRN in Qtrly in APR 2026. As they say watch the financials because I don't think it will be announced. Sean said probably not any royalties this year.
This probably could be because big companies don't pay early. If Nintendo paid 3 weeks early and Megachips paid 3 weeks early, we could receive payment for those 3 weeks sales by end of DEC 2025 but doubt that would happen. This is just a scenario as I have no idea what is in the Megachips contract with BRN or with Nintemdo. There may be information in the Megachips reports to give an indication.

No idea really but I would think first payments of royalties wouldn't happen quickly but would happen on a regular basis after that.

Any thoughts welcome as could be barking up the wrong tree.

Maybe I should have put a caveat in that I have have no idea if we are in it and quite frankly I haven't seen anything to suggest we are except we have an IP deal with Megachips. It was more to do with time frames than anything else.

We need a deal or 2 that gives the market confidence that Neuromorphic AI is going to grow exponentially and the growth has started.
Punters like to get in early.
We have been super early.
The deals do not need to be huge.

I agree that we have been super early. This makes things more challenging but hopefully the rewards should also be huge. Here's hoping
