Not done much today and the 2nd time in as many months I have bloody covid, so spent a bit of time researching online. Now let’s see if I can find anything else worth posting.

Yeah, I think he was just talking generally. Same as he goes on to talking about glasses with cameras and speakers. Think Rayban and similar.
My Apple earbuds do have limited noise cancelation technology but if it was ours I would expect we would know about it by now or certainly have seen some attributable revenue.
I have no doubt it'll come, in time. Just not sure I can stick around long enough to enjoy it.
