Always remember Dave, drinking doesn't drown your sorrows, it just teaches them to swim.

I wonder if MegaChips will secure an additional IP licence, before next year's end, which this time includes AKIDA 2 and TENNs?..
But what did megachips license just Akida 1000 or everything?

The initial licence was taken out in late November 2021, which means it would expire in late November 2025?..

I suppose, any products produced using our IP during that time, have perpetual rights to its usage?@Diogenese(with ongoing royalties to us of course).

Exactly... I hope they extend or sign a new one.

Check - Renesas!!! Their licence expired at 2024-12-24 if this is also a 4-year agreement. See attached image.

So, hopefully they renew or extend it... or buying the 2.0 IP.

A.I. Shark "may" have a gig with Nintendo, but their application doesn't seem to conflict with what AKIDA can do for the system.

The Switch 2, is a venue that will have multiple gigs going on.

There "was" some information on Switch 2, a while back (on this forum) that seemed to preclude our involvement (at least that's the impression I got, after having high hopes for it).

But there is so little "concrete" information on the Switch 2, nobody (outside of the companies involved) will know, until the official release of specs..
Not a gamer myself, but Akida could be useful at the input of UI: gestures, pose, eye tracking , speech, pulse rate, ... maybe even one of those brain spike sensing electrode skull caps.

As for generating a response, I supose inputs could be associted with responses, but it would require the context (LSTM/long skip).

It was a full licence, but AKIDA 1.0 IP, was the only IP available at that time.

That would include any derivatives of AKIDA 1.0 IP, like AKD1500 (which MegaChips helped with).

Maybe this is the reason the podcast has been delayed. Ongoing negotiations with Renesas for an improved licencing arrangement including Akida 2.0 and TENNs......

There doesn't seem to have been a fixed term for Renesas, but it wasn't a full licence (think it was only for 2 nodes?)..

Don't ask me what a node is, try Diogenese..

Everyone knows it’s

the part of a plant stem from which one or more leaves emerge, often forming a slight swelling or knob.
"the stem is cut midway between nodes"

The licence "continues while the customer continues to use the Akida IP in its products".

A new fee needs to be negotiated for ongoing software maintenance after 2 years.

Ooops meant Microchip not Microsoft. My slip up.
I think we may well be in for a good 2025. Sean and Tony V have been accumulating stacks of equity via RSU's and forgoing cash salary for a reason. I am tipping that reason is because they believe that equity in BRN will make them wealthy................................ and if they do very well so do we!!!!!!:)

Must be your auto-correct Manny, because you still haven't got it right 😛

It's "MegaChips".

I do believe we have a Partnership with Microchip though.
