What’s happened to Rob Telson - looks like he has also closed his LinkedIn account?

Hi FMF/ChippersHas anyone considered that Rob was let go?
Is always a possibility in any business.
Sean is accountable for the business as a whole and needs to make decisions, in conjunction with other senior execs possibly as well, regarding performance.
Rob was accountable for his role in sales which we know haven't really been forthcoming other than the first couple off the bat a couple of years ago.
Likeable is one thing, results is another.
I've been in the sales environment in various roles and industries for close to thirty years and it can be a grind at times and results are all that ultimately matters.
We know the company is under mounting pressure from SH and no doubt internally to get the sales and self sustaining revenue kick started.
Not all companies come out and say oh yeah, we let this person go. Usually it's a diplomatic reason given.
It could also account for the deletion of LinkedIn etc as he would no doubt be hurting as would anyone let go.
Nandan may be of his own accord or there could be possible future internal restructures being discussed and decided it wasn't for him.
That happens as well.
Hi FMF/Chippers
With respect @Fullmoonfever your posts are of great value to this forum.
Sean as CEO of our company of course will have to make serious decisions with regard to the continued operation and with the end goal of driving the success of the company.
With regards to this "RT no longer working at Brainchip" ............. Seans response to Tonys question of why RT has left in the most recent podcast
imo was inadequate.
I, like many, do not like what ive seen of Sean through his various interviews and podcasts, ( and of course not to mention last years AGM ) and after the RT "revelation" in the podcast, Sean could have expanded on RTs departure as with the reasons he gave as to why NN has left.
If Sean came to the decision that RTs performance in sales was not good enough ......... FFS just tell us he was let go for these performance deficiets.
If it was a personality/company direction clash with Sean or any other staff members then why not say ........ RT choose to resign/RT was let go through various reasons not aligned with the company.
If it was through any other reasons, such as RT having health/family reasons, then why not expand the answer to .........with respect of Robs decision to leave the company, we will leave that information to RT/family to inform the community if they so choose to, and we do sincerly wish him all the best in the future and thank him for his past contributions to the company.
IMO, "through unforseen circumstances" ..........( end of answer) is not a diplomatic answer. Its a answer that is saying that you shareholders dont need to know, and just isnt a strength of a CEO im wanting in a company i see so much potential.
Just my two bobs worth on this issue ............and with regards to Seans closing statement in the podcast ............... "i look forward to talking with the shareholders at the upcoming AGM " ..................... god i hope he has much more to say this time round on AKIDO ........... whoops, i mean AKIDA
AKIDO BALLISTO
Since some of us are invested in brainchip, we are part of the company and some here pointed out that they will miss him and wish him all the best. So your post is not accurate! It is all political correctness ... that is why there is no specific reason mentioned, but if the company does not say that they wish the person all the best and thank him for his work and achievements, he was fired. If that person then deleted his profile completely instead of changing it, he was not happy to have been fired.
Maybe Rob cleaned Sean's desk out of anger and ran out? Maybe they hugged each other, shook hands and waved friendly goodbye. Who knows? We will never know! Rob is gone, so is Nandan, and the company will find somebody else and hopefully grow from it.

But Rob was not in sales, he was ecosystem partner manager. Even when sales position was empty he was not given extra responsibility of sales. I feel he was sidelined for a long time. Even he was not coming out as prominently as he should be.Has anyone considered that Rob was let go?
