I think blaming the shorters is stupid. Management is liable for lack of news and price sensitive announcements which allowed shorters to party on loyal holders hard earned money.
Is it the loyal holders who are selling?

Random thought: is it possible to extend the trading halt to a point the shorts can't cover?
would be fun to watch

I realise they're probably in the money anyway

Lack of news, announcements etc does not explain the significant plummet to .50c in 5 hours of trading. The volume is what got the ASX to act IMHO

No its the loyal holders who are feeling depressed :(

But tbh, other than managing share price / landing new IP contracts, I think management is doing everything really well... hopefully we stay strong and can laugh about this in future... I think we have strong positions to shoot to the moon... unless 5g 6g 7g 8g 9g takes over the world and eliminate edge ai advantages

I don't think so. For me, took this as an opportunity to top up. Added at 68 cents and 52 cents.

Agree with you that Vol would most likely be part of the trigger.

Top right.....RVOL against 20 day avg....bit of a change in behaviour essentially and not exactly "orderly" as they ASX always says.

Laguna Hills, Calif. – February 14, 2023 BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, ADR: BCHPY), the world’s first commercial producer of ultra-low power, fully digital, event-based, neuromorphic AI IP, today announced that the latest episode of its “This is Our Mission” podcast is an inside-looking-out conversation among top BrainChip executives. The podcast will be published on February 19 at 3:00 p.m. PST and shared across the company’s podcast platforms, the @BrainChipInc YouTube channel and the BrainChip website.
This informal, “fireside chat”-style conversation features BrainChip founder and CTO Peter van der Made, Chief Marketing Officer Nandan Nayampally and Vice President of Ecosystems & Partnerships Rob Telson discussing the company’s progress as well as providing their perspectives on the AI market today and what the future holds.
“It’s been a while since we have taken an inside-looking-out approach to our podcast series, so I was very excited to have the opportunity to join Peter and Nandan on this episode to provide listeners with a better understanding of who we are, what we are doing and where we are going,” said Telson. “In addition to their front-row perspective of how things are evolving at BrainChip itself, both gentlemen are proven thought leaders and industry experts in the world of AI at large. Our audience will come away from this podcast with a better idea of current IP offerings and the direction the market is heading for years to come.”

About BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, ADR: BCHPY)
BrainChip is the worldwide leader in edge AI on-chip processing and learning. The company’s first-to-market, fully digital, event-based AI processor, AkidaTM, uses neuromorphic principles to mimic the human brain, analyzing only essential sensor inputs at the point of acquisition, processing data with unparalleled efficiency, precision, and economy of energy. Akida uniquely enables edge learning local to the chip, independent of the cloud, dramatically reducing latency while improving privacy and data security. Akida Neural processor IP, which can be integrated into SoCs on any process technology, has shown substantial benefits on today’s workloads and networks, and offers a platform for developers to create, tune and run their models using standard AI workflows like Tensorflow/Keras. In enabling effective edge compute to be universally deployable across real world applications such as connected cars, consumer electronics, and industrial IoT, BrainChip is proving that on-chip AI, close to the sensor, is the future, for its customers’ products, as well as the planet. Certainly looks like stop losses have been hit. I am assuming the market makers here have done it on purpose.
Just remember that we can run up just as hard and quickly as we are dropping down now.

I was worried how the market didn't respond after the 4C and expressed my worries here, because there is no reason why with a showing of revenue and Akida 1500 been tapered out that we should go lower, but we did.

Some big boys I am sure are scooping shares and there is no way they will take mine. I managed to scrape a little more to put a buy order in.

Looks like support at 50 cents will hold for now ( if that breaks, sheeezzz) but just remember that this dump is designed to panic and disrupt us retail holders. In my opinion, the narrative that our company is not using the ASX's comms and that is why our SP is dropping may or may not be true, but we have strong fundamentals. Simply, the less retail holders we have and the more instos we have, the more we all have to keep on extending our time horizons to have the share price in a 'comfort' zone as instos don't care about the price in the short/medium term. I do think dividends will be possible one day and that is my goal.

I am going to go for a walk.
A slow one given your avatar @GazDix ?
