AVZ Discussion 2022

Defence document now also filed for AVZ

Possibly Graeme’s dog ate his draft?

Surely there is one shareholder with legal access to the Court portal. We’ve already seen the ASIC Statement of Claim, so……….

I’ve tried - registered and can log in but a search doesn’t produce any detail of any of the documents

Your accusations against Graeme’s dog are spurious and without merit. He’s a good boy.

Jokes aside it is interesting that he missed his deadline while AVZ and Nigel didn’t

Unfortunately it will require the court deeming this matter as in the public interest for us to be able to read the defence documents in which case the files will be added to this list:

There is a reasonable chance that could occur given the nature of ASIC’s ‘claims’ however for now it isn’t so

You can apply to the court to access restricted documents as a non party by following the below instructions:

Whether your access if granted can then be shared online will depend entirely on the conditions imposed by the court so if approved make sure you read the instructions within very carefully and if unsure it is best to keep any information gathered through this process to yourself imo

'These posts are protected' means the account has been set to private

So it's not you personally or just AVZ shareholders that have been blocked

Only accounts that they approve to follow them will be able to see their Xeets from now on (unless they switch back to public)

This profile on Facebook seems to be trying to expose Cominiere’s corruption

He or she is putting Kiki’s X posts on Facebook

Lithium_Manono🇨🇩 Why not also a restructuring at the management of #COMINIERE? By Kiki #Kienge

As part of the strategic agreement negotiated in Washington, based on a sensitive and decisive exchange between Congolese minerals and strengthened military and diplomatic security, the Congolese president, Félix #Tshisekedi, recently restructured the management of several state-owned mining companies.

These companies are among the mining assets that the DRC intends to highlight in this new US/DRC strategic partnership. These include: - #Gécamines, a historical pillar of copper and cobalt; - #Sakima, holder of significant deposits of gold, coltan, and rare earth elements; - #Sokimo, an emblematic gold mining company in the northeast of the country.

This reorganization appears to be driven by a desire for greater credibility, transparency, and efficiency, at a time when the DRC intends to leverage its resources to strengthen its geopolitical and security position.

But a major question arises: why not also COMINIERE and the strategic lithium deposits of Manono? COMINIERE, the public company responsible for the Manono lithium deposits, considered one of the world's largest, remains at the heart of serious controversies.

Accusations of corruption, suspicions of embezzlement of public funds, administrative hurdles, and governance conflicts: all these factors have paralyzed the effective exploitation of this mineral, which is nevertheless strategic for the global energy transition, for years.

While lithium is currently the focus of international interest and the DRC could become a key player in the global electric battery supply chain, nothing is happening.

Projects are stagnating. Investments are on hold. Opportunities are slipping away. And yet, no visible structural reforms have been undertaken at COMINIERE.

Lisette Kabanga Tshibwabwa remains chair of the board of directors, while Célestin Kibeya retains his position as managing director. This continuity raises questions, especially as other state-owned mining companies are undergoing adjustments and strategic repositioning.

Why this exception? Why does the lithium from Manono, a resource of the future, remain outside the priorities declared by Félix Tshisekedi? How can we explain that, in a context of major international agreements involving Congolese mineral resources, the governance of COMINIERE is not receiving similar attention? If the DRC truly wants to transform its lithium into levers of sovereignty, security, and development, consistency in the governance of the state-owned mining company, COMINIERE, is essential.

The country's international credibility depends on it, as does the trust of its partners. Copper, cobalt, gold, and rare earth elements are not the only strategic minerals. Is the lithium from Manono just as important? Perhaps even more so in the future. So, once again: why not Cominière as well?

…. I remember looking at Kibeya’s Facebook page years ago and seeing he had more than 150 friends all liking his posts, all corrupt no doubt

I was gonna give you two emo's but they got depressed, kept whining about our situation, and they pissed me off. So here's something a bit happier instead.

Yep. My first reaction too. But, it actually could be the
start of something very positive.

Actions, not words. Shooting the hell out of the people who
need it? Hmmmmmmm......

Now the USA have Felix's permission.
