I thought it was interesting. If you read the article it seems there is an existing mechanism (at least at the domestic level) for the US government to also deploy assets to protect strategic interests. My vibe is that they’d “behind closed doors” back in a private US company to be the face of Manono (and DRC by extension) investment with support. I think that’s the logical and communicated pathway. But if that goes to shit, the Government could intervene directly to secure strategic interests. I think USA will get Manono, it’s the price and appeasing DRC brown bag wanters that seems to be the barriers.Interesting, really interesting
