Anyone able to post the article from The Australian today on RIO’s meeting with Trump on critical minerals? and also maybe the one from the Daily Telegraph, which covers Australian mining executives beating Airbus Albo to first meeting with Trump.:LOL:

Just to repeat RIO RIO RIO
In the absence of further details, I took a punt you were referring to this one?

What ever happened to Peter Allen?
I can assist you with your enquiry

Peter Allen was an Australian singer-songwriter and entertainer known for his flamboyant performances and hit songs like "I Honestly Love You" and "Arthur's Theme." He was married to Liza Minnelli from 1967 to 1974 and became one of the first well-known Australians to die from AIDS-related complications in 1992. Wikipedia

Court wins and interim orders mean NOTHING if the DRC won’t ACKNOWLEDGE…!

So many things go over Lenny's head that the RMS have declared it a main arterial road:rolleyes:

And thats a cunt of a haircut he’s got too.

I’ve told him he needs to be more aligned with the Congolese cut, like mine, but he feels that might involve a Brazilian

I see he’s stuffed up his ying and yang replies to himself too, fuck he is such an unreliable employee, I might have to get CK to replace him here

How has Qatar reacted?

Majed al-Ansari, a spokesperson of the Qatar foreign ministry, while speaking to journalists on Tuesday, said that although timelines had been missed, there was still hope for the peace deal.

“The good thing is that both sides are engaging very positively,” he said. “We are engaging with them closely, and we are committed to the process, and I think the parties have shown a level of willingness to agree that was not there before.”

The spokesperson did not, however, give a new date for the signing of a peace deal.

Earlier, on Monday, Qatari officials revealed that they had shared a draft of the final deal with both sides to review.

The whole article is worth a read @Bin59 and the linked video is also very informative. If shareholders don’t want to watch the whole video, you can skip to the 16min 45sec point where he talks about the USA and Trump.

The two main points I take away are how complex the conflict between the DRC, Rwanda and all the rebel groups involved is, and how desperate the USA are for the DRC’s minerals.

My own opinion is, as much as I would like the money for my shares now, the slower route through arbitration has a number of advantages. The most obvious being our legal position according to the international laws of the ICC and ICSID (World Bank), the USA’s increasing desperation for the DRC’s critical minerals and the increasing rise in lithium prices to name a few.

I also think with the DRC Battery Metals Forum coming up in September, it’s a good time to stick it to the corrupt actors in the DRC who have worked against us from the beginning and continue to do so. That in particular being Celestin Kibeya, Cominiere and CAMI.

Here’s the link to the Vuka Group who sponsor the forum which I note has Cominiere as its Cobalt Sponsor (something AVZ was a year or two ago) and lists Kibeya as an influential speaker at the event 👇

Some people may suggest Nigel might not want shareholders posting abusive comments on the corrupt actors involved.

He of course is taking a respectful and legal approach to the corruption against us and I’m sure shareholders exposing the corrupt actors through facts and evidence (not abuse) will not only support our case, it will keep a spotlight on the corrupt actors involved.

I have a lot of people here on ignore so I don’t see what they post unless I log onto TSE without signing in and when I read their bullshit it makes me glad we have another place to share information.

Now back to you @Winenut @Xerof @Remark @Slipperysucker and other genuine shareholders

I hold just under a million shares. I have no doubt that if AVZ pursued ICSID to the end, we would win—and win big. In fact, I think AVZ has been far too conservative in the damages it’s seeking. That said, I don’t believe the DRC would ever respect the ruling or pay what’s owed.

If you disagree—if you’re convinced ICSID is the path to riches—I’m open to selling. Make me an offer for my shares. If you’re right, you’ll have the chance to turn that belief into a significant profit.

It is how the Felix mafia operates.
M23 stops because of Doha agreements, Felix and cohorts feels safe and business to normal mode ripping the system off.
Don't forget Felix did exactly the same with AVZ.
All M23 has to do is move 10 km closer to Kinshasa and Felix will be back in Washington on his knees trying to suck Trump's tiny weenie dick.

Emerged
A few points of interest which I'm curious of other's opinions on. Apologies if these have been pointedly discussed, there's a lot to sift through to find information. To be clear, I have no agenda (I only have about 200,000 shares) and I'm just trying to fill in gaps in my understanding of the situation, paths forward, and potential outcomes.

1. I've seen talk of a potential class action lawsuit moving forward should a sale of AVZ be below the ATH share price. Is there any legal basis for this? If the company's sole asset is sold and funds distributed to shareholders, then litigation would be aimed at management for some kind of dereliction of responsibilities? If there are any shareholders here who bought in at a high price, is this a path you would pursue (I bought in early so I'm not interested in going this route)? Considering the unfathomable trials and tribulations that AVZ has been through over the past several years, would there really be any chance of winning?

2. Amongst the exhaustive talk regarding a buyout price, some believe AVZ should stick to arbitration should an offer be "too low". If that were the case, do you guys/gals believe that we would actually see any return on our investments regardless of time frame? Thus far the DRC have ignored court rulings and it doesn't seem there have been any significant consequences yet. I'm aware of the longer reach of the ICSID, however, could the DRC simply work with China and, financially at least, come out in a similar or better situation?

3. Some feel that the deposit will be stranded should we continue arbitration and this is leverage for a higher buyout price. Based on what has happened to the northern tenement, what recourse would we have if the same thing happened in the south and the DRC did nothing about it?

4. Again regarding the continued arbitration option, I've seen threats that should the AVZ case move forward, that corrupt actors in the DRC will be exposed. However, it sure seems that corruption is blatantly and shamefully obvious to the point of hilarity so this doesn't really seem like a convincing argument. Am I missing something?

TIA and here's hoping for a swift and rewarding resolution very soon!

This is a realistic worry. Doesn't matter if there is a legal basis for it. One of our resident dickheads like Shane or Lenny stirs up a few people, organises a class action and our funds are going to be held up and drained by lawyers.

I believe should we see out ICSID we will win and win a big time settlement. I also believe we will never ever see a cent of that settlement. I think it's incredibly naive to think ICSID is our way out of this.

I think it is fantasy to think the deposit will be stranded should we continue arbitration. The DRC has clearly shown it does not respect contract law, ICC, or ICSID. I predict no matter what happens to us, someone will be well underway to mining it by this time next year.

I think certain shareholders are overly emotional given everything we've been through and looking for vengeance. And I certainly understand that. But I really don't care. It's not my fight. I just want my money so I can move on with my life.

The lesson of the pied piper you dumb fuck is to always pay people what they’re owed

If you invite someone into your town to do a job. Whether that be to clear a rodent problem or to define a resource. Then they need to get paid.

Otherwise they will get retribution one way or another imo

What a load of shit. Why aren't they mining it now if the don't care about ICSID. It has been measured and proven for 4 years.
