Quick question: I hold AVZ shares in an IBKR account and have done so for about 5 years. They are still visible, nothing's changed, but is it necessary to still register with Automic? Finally anticipating an end to this saga. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you want to move your holdings to Automic, open a ticket with IBKR and let them know what you want to do. At this stage, your shares are held through a custodian, and the AVZ office doesn't know you as a holder. Your name won’t appear on the registry, and you don’t have an SRN or HIN because you don’t directly own the shares.

IBKR will send you some forms to sign and to upload back to them. This is a manual process, and it typically takes around two weeks. They will charge you approximately $100 for the entire process.

It appears to me as though you are not welcome here.

Personally, if was me me, I'd probably just go away and find some other place to share my thoughts. But if you think you somehow get value out of the info here, and I mean really, my recommendation would be to simply just lurk and don't say a thing for quite a while.

That way you wont have these posts you mention disappearing and you can still listen in on what's going down.

Bit Capital, a company that appears to be based in Chicago, has been flagged as a potential scam. According to reviews on Trustpilot, users have reported significant issues with the company, including:

• Claims that the company is associated with high-risk investments and fraudulent activities.
• Reports of the company misleading customers and failing to deliver on promised services.
• Complaints about the company requesting additional deposits and fees, such as VAT, to process withdrawals or close accounts.
• Allegations that the company does not provide the promised returns and that users lose their invested money.

One user reported that after depositing $50, the company asked for more funds to transfer Bitcoin to their wallet, and then demanded an additional $73 for VAT to process a withdrawal. The user also mentioned being told to reinvest $3000 before closing the account, despite having already deposited $445. The company's practices are described as deceptive and untrustworthy, with no clear path for withdrawal or account closure.

I had 8 posts moderated over the weekend without any valid reason. Seems TSE is doing what the crapper started doing years ago and monitoring IP addressed and just moderating posts without even looking at them.

I posted a comment last night that @wombat74 replied to so he could easily verify there was nothing offensive or profane in it and this was what I got

Old mate is just doing what everyone has been doing, which is paid account reporting.

Once a post is reported, the bot automatically moderates the post and thus removing it from view. It is automatic, @zeeb0t doesn't manually mod every post.

You could say whilst community moderation is effective, it can easily be reversed by what we are seeing now with the few trolls doing the moderation. I'm actually surprised it has taken this long for them to start reporting 'normal' posts.

By leaving you are effectively letting the troll win, and it has only taken just a couple of days.

Yes, you need to register your AVZ shares with Automic Share Register as issuer-sponsored shares. Automic is just a registry.

Make a user name and password, if not done already.
Phone Automic: 1300 288 664
Request that your SRN is sent to you. Automic will send it by post only, and to the address on file.
When your SRN arrives, login and add your AVZ shares as issuer-sponsored, and all good.
