My kids were born in the little hospital around the corner along the Esplanade going north along the beach, a bit further is the Largs Pier hotel where Jimmy Barnes often played.

The Birkenhead is where the guys went after work, so their missus couldn't find them.

Port Adelaide, labor territory and full with pubs with very rich histories.
Great place for a pub crawl, if they are still all there. No need for an uber, all within crawling distance.
