AVZ Discussion 2022

Although I liked @Remark first post from Grok, I don't think this latest one can be relied upon for accuracy. For a start, we know the Minister of Mines (Kizito Pakabomba) is corrupt and has openly lied about AVZ in the past, and as far as hiring a local fixer, we saw that Marius was not able to help despite being mates with Tshisekedi (as well as supposedly being experienced in espionage) and we've seen how Lukusa couldn't be trusted.

When it comes to discreet intermediaries, there have been several private messages sent to shareholders on X by so called discreet intermediaries claiming they could fix the problem if given a donation, and as far as lobbying political influence.... that could be regarded as the best Friday joke ever told on this thread.

Local and public support, well AVZ has already done that, but a few things that could be plastered across the internet on a weekly basis are The AVZ Minerals Story and The Sustainability Report (linked below) as well as information contained in other AVZ threads that few shareholders here bothered to look at.

As far as financial reinforcement, well that has been covered now and we can breathe a sigh of relief and be thankful that Nigel and DLA Piper kept us in the game through the unrelenting attacks over the last three years

@Doc I'm not coming back mate. I think this place has become like the crapper. The days are gone when the West Australian boys and I used to engage in lively disagreements, jokes weren't just saved for a Friday, John was counting the days in suspension, posting gifs of old men fighting, and organising a sausage sizzle and a run over the Brisbane bridge that included a topless Nells. Also gone are those days of @wombat74 and @Nellie17 slick salsa moves on the dance floor, unfettered pineappling, the infamous cock punch and the battle for the Mantle with top challenges coming from the likes of @Winenut and @TDITD (Winenuts and TITS). At least there was great camaraderie and fun in the early days, I wish all genuine shareholders the best for the future
Gday Money

Well i suppose i am one of those WA lads that had some lively disagreements with you in the past and i can tell ya, i aint going to change.....;)

I think this place has become like the crapper.

Bullshit, yeah this forum has gone a bit quiet and yeah we had the idiot toilet infiltrate and cause a stir, yeah zeebot has gone impotent, but the intel here is still the best it ever was and we still have some very good intelligent posters contributing , so all is good as far as i am concerned.

Of course one of those very intelligent posters that i speak of is you and i hope you do poke your head in from time to time and hang around, cause in my opinion, this year we are going to have alot to talk about and its going to be positive not negative.

Transcript of Felix’s meeting just leaked

"Felix, my friend, great guy, strong leader, but listen—we’ve got a situation, a big one, maybe the biggest. AVZ Minerals—total disaster, total mess. The Chinese? Taking over, like they always do—bad for the DRC, bad for America, bad for everybody. And the Australians? Great people, love the Australians, they’re tough, they know mining better than anyone, but let’s be honest—they’re getting squeezed out, totally unfair. Now, my friend Elon—brilliant guy, maybe the smartest, loves electric cars, doing amazing things—he needs lithium, and you’ve got the best lithium. We can make a deal, a tremendous deal—America wins, DRC wins, even the Australians win. No rip-offs, no shady deals—just a big, beautiful win. Let’s make it happen, Felix. People are talking, they say we should do it. I think we should do it. Tremendous opportunity!"

Joseph Kabila denounces the excesses of Félix Tshisekedi's power and calls for resolving the problem of armed groups present in the DRC

After a long period of silence, Joseph Kabila, former President of the Republic, senator for life and moral authority of the FCC (Common Front for the Congo), spoke out on several current issues that are making headlines in the DRC.

He did so through a column published this Sunday, February 23 by the South African newspaper "Sunday Times".

The former head of state notably expressed his point of view on the 2023 presidential election, during which Félix Tshisekedi was re-elected for a second term.

"There were the sham elections of December 2023, organized in violation of the legal framework and international standards.

These elections have amplified the illegitimacy of the power in place, artificially reduced the weight of the opposition and made the head of state the absolute master of the country.

Tshisekedi has also publicly announced his intention to amend the Constitution,” said Joseph Kabila.

He added: “This is a huge democratic setback. The current regime has silenced all forms of political opposition.

Intimidation, arbitrary arrests, summary and extrajudicial executions, as well as the forced exile of politicians, journalists and opinion leaders, including religious leaders, have become characteristic features of Tshisekedi’s governance.”

Regarding the security crisis in the east of the country, marked by the Rwandan occupation, Joseph Kabila believes that stability in this region requires resolving the issue of national and foreign armed groups present on Congolese soil.

“Contrary to what the authorities in Kinshasa want us to believe, the crisis is not limited to the uncontrolled actions of the M23 - wrongly presented as an anarchist group, a proxy of a foreign state without legitimate claims - nor to a simple disagreement between the DRC and Rwanda,” we can read in his column.

The former president was also critical of South Africa and wondered if this country will continue to send troops to the DRC “to support a tyrannical regime and fight the aspirations of the Congolese people.”

The corrupt criticising the corrupt...........

Oh the irony.
Kabila highly likely still has strong connections with M23 and is attempting to destabilise and undermine poor Felix with the watches, Joseph also highly likely still has some of his comrades at high places in the government.

One of these days when fat Felix is galavanting around the world, buying photo opportunities with DRC money, he highly likely will be told to get of the plane, so it can go back home without him.

Joseph Kabila, born in South Kivu, following high school, Kabila followed a military curriculum in Tanzania, then at Makerere University in Uganda.
In October 1996, Laurent-Désiré Kabila launched the campaign in Zaire to oust the Mobutu regime with his newly formed army, the Alliance of Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Congo-Zaire (AFDL). Joseph Kabila became the commander of an AFDL unit that included "kadogos" (child soldiers) and likely played a key role in major battles on the road to Kinshasa, but his exact whereabouts during the war have been difficult to establish. Joseph Kabila appears to have been present at the liberation of Kisangani (interesting place),where media reports identified him as commander of the rebel force that took the city after four days of intense fighting.

Following the AFDL's victory, and Laurent-Désiré Kabila's rise to the presidency, Joseph Kabila went on to get further training at the PLA National Defense University, in Beijing, China.

So dear Joseph trained in China and don't forget Kabila's interest in Dathomir!

Joseph getting out in the open with his shit stirring had to happen and he highly likely thinks it is not a bad time to get some news exposure.
Why not do it from South Africa, it is probably safer than doing it from Kinshasa.
He highly likely is supported by China, which is fighting for its Congo mineral interests, while Fat Felix is shopping and hobnobbing in the USA.

All IMO of course

And I thought Kinshasa was one big brothel.

I did enjoy my time in Africa.
I loved the limbo dancers, I tried it, but the beer bottles were too small for me.
